openCV support for vista 64x - windows-vista

I am trying to install OpenCV over windows vista 64x but it's shows a fatal error.
I tried everything I can but it is useless.
Does openCV work on vista 64?
How do I get rid of this problem?
Please help .
thanx in advance

From what I know, OpenCV does NOT support 64bit OS yet.

Issue with KsStudio not installing Ksmon.sys

In Windows 10 (64 bit) 1803 with WDK 1803 when running ksstudio as administrator, there is always an error message saying can't install ksmon.sys. It is in same directory as ksstudio. I've tried windows 7 with wdk 7.1, 8.0, and 8.1 as well and get the same error. Tried searching the wdk forums and osr forums but came uo short. I have to be missing something or is it just broken and no one uses it? Anyone have this issue before and have any insight as to how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Here's the error I get on starting KsStudio and pressing ok

Install IE 8 on a Virtual Box VM?

I'm trying to install ie version 8 in a virtual box. I downloaded several files from microsoft website. One of them after start extracting the show me an language related error all the others said that the .exe file is not a valid Win32 application.
Can anyone help me how to install this??
Thanks
What operating system are you running on your VirtualBox? Because you are getting a Win32 error, I would suggest you are running a 32-bit Windows OS and have downloaded a 64-bit installer.
When downloading from Microsoft, double-check you are downloading a 32-bit installer (32-bit and x86 are essentially the same thing).

Installing PyGraphics-1.5.win32.exe

When I try to install PyGraphics-1.5.win32.exe it pops up with an error stating:
"The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I have tried reinstalling Python and have had no luck. My installation currently includes PyWin, Pyserial, and PIL on Windows 7 x64.
Any help much appreciated, thank you.
You could Google for the missing DLL, and copy it into the Python installation directory.
But it's probably easier to just grab the Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Redistributable (x86) runtime package from Microsoft. I think you'll need the x86 version of the runtime (rather than x64), since PyGraphics-win32 sounds like a 32-bit library, not 64-bit.

VB6 WIA Module-Automation Error

I'm trying to use WIA in an older VB6 program running in Windows 7 and when I run from source everything works great and I can import images. When I run from the compiled version I get the following error:
Automation error. The specified module could not be found.
(Error number 2147024770)
I found the wiaaut.dll in both system32 and SysWOW64 so I don't know if that is potentially causing a problem. I tried unregistering and registering both to no avail. Any help would be much appreciate.
As far as I know wiaaut.dll is preinstalled in Vista and Windows 7, but this is not the redist version for XP that comes in the downloadable SDK, and it should not be deployed to those newer OSs. perhaps somebody tried to run some application installer on your machine that forced the XP version into place blindly?
Perhaps try How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 to see if it can restore the original Win7 version?
