I know that iOS7 device act as an iBeacon. how can I could turn my iMac into an iBeacon for testing purposes. Thanks in advance!

We had a lot of success using a Bluetooth LE dongle (cost $12) and a virtual machine. Was super fast to install and set up and very accurate - perfect 'test bed'. Got a dongle at a local store - the hardest part of this is actually going out and buying one!
You can find instructions at Radiant, here:

We tried to create a beacon natively without a dongle but haven't come up with a way to do so.

Now I got my Raspberry Pi. I am an experienced application software developer, but I've never done hardware stuff or low-level programming before. I want to build a minimal Linux, including drivers for all hardware on my Pi. For learning purpose, I don't want to install any pre-built Linux distribution on my Pi. Where should I start?
You can also check out Buildroot, http://buildroot.org. We have a default configuration for the Rasberry-Pi, and several contributors are working on the support for this platform.
Start with openembedded. There are several links already dedicated to raspberry pi, such as:

I am C++/MFC/Qt/Win32 developer. I wanted to move towards device driver programming. Recently I have purchased Windows 7 Device Driver by Ronald D. Reeves. And then, when I looked at reviews at Amazon, I got discouraged. Can you suggest how should I proceed towards device driver programming.
Regards
Make sure to start with Windows Internals (6th edition is out now) before getting deeper in Programming the Windows Driver Model. This last one might be out of print, but you can still find it used or available as an e-book. It is older, but the WDM is largely the same and it is a fantastic introduction into the theoretical bits as well as the hands-on kernel mode device driver development. After these 2 books, you can easily tackle the windows driver frameworks (KMDF and UMDF). Device driver development is a huge area. There are many classes of drivers you would want or need to develop and various frameworks to help you do that, but I would definitely start with these 2 books.

I'm trying to debug on my htc desire. When I connect my phone through USB the phone starts charging as normal but it won't recognize that it is connected to the pc.
Normally I can find the usb debugging mode in my notification bar for example and it's not there and I don't event get the option to mount as storage media etc.
might sound stupid but try a different usb cable .. (I got one that can only charge my htc desire)
and check to see if it happens on another computer.. (also.. happen to me before)
If you're totally certain that the phone is in Development Mode (Settings --> Applications --> Development --> USB Debugging) then I'd reinstall the drivers for the phone. Sounds stupid, I know, but it actually worked for me when I couldn't debug on my Galaxy.
Rebooting the device is also highly recommended.
Hope this helps!

I'm deadly interested in Cocoa. I want to begin to study Objective-C and to use Xcode. Please tell me what the minimal (let's say, the cheap one) Mac Model you'd like to recommend me. I am meaning for Xcode 4.
Thank you.
Any Mac you can buy at this moment will be fine. Your cheapest option would probably be the Mac mini if you have a decent screen already. Other good options can be the MacBook 13" (I use this is my main development machine) and iMac of you don't need to be mobile.
Any new Mac. Or any used Intel-based Mac under 3 years old.

Can anyone tell what prototyping tool I should use, I don't want to use photo shop anyways
There are no such tools runs on windows. For preview your prototype design, There is a tool available on iPhone, iPad and MAC called ProtoView.
You may check it out on APP Store: http://bit.ly/protoview
ForeUI, a very useful and easy to use protyping tool, worked for me, It provides windows, Mac OS X, Wire Frame etc themes
