I am an iOS developer and can't find the xcode download link anywhere! I can find the link that says:
For, Xcode beta, sign in with the Apple ID associated with your membership in the iOS Developer Program or Mac Developer Program to download and install the latest pre-release version of Xcode.
View on the iOS Dev Center" but then there is no link. Help??

Log into your Apple Developer account and if you are a Mac developer, choose the Yosemite tab in the Mac Dev Center:
or if you are an iOS developer, choose the iOS 8 tab in the iOS Dev Center:
The correct links will then be visible.

Login into https://developer.apple.com/
and then Go to https://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action?name=Xcode
You will get xcode 6.0.1 dmg download link there.
Or you can go to mac app store and directly install the xcode as an app.

Here is steps:
Go to https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action
If you are still not Update Program License Agreement, don't forget to do it (to enable next step:
Click on iOS 8 beta tab.
Scroll down and click Download XCode
Profit

After Login Apple Developer Id, you may getthe following link:
http://adcdownload.apple.com/Developer_Tools/xcode_6.1/xcode_6.1.dmg

Trying to update from Xcode 11 GM to 11.1 always fail.
I tried moving /Applications/Xcode.app first... nothing works
This is my commerce log:
2019-10-08 12:29:08+01 leviathan installd[556]: PackageKit: Install Failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=501 "The package is attempting to install content to the system volume." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The package is attempting to install content to the system volume.} {
Manual download
The always working and preferred workaround!
Download directly from Apple:
Latest Release version or
Latest Beta version or
Any version you need and all other downloadable contents
Then extract and move it where you like. This has so many benefits comparing to AppStore updates. (like the ability to resume download, not replacing the old one, not wasting hidden directories and etc.)
Note that you should use safari to download it.
Force App Store to re-download.
Apple suggested this workaround but many developers (including me)prefer manual download to save a lot of network traffic!
Since This is Known Issues
Xcode may fail to update from the Mac App Store after updating to macOS Catalina. (56061273)
Apple suggest this:
To trigger a new download you can delete the existing Xcode.app or temporarily change the file extension so it is no longer visible to the App Store.

I clearly updated Xcode in my Appstore to version 7.2, and it completed the update, but when I open the about Xcode window, it still shows version 7.1.1 Why hasn't it updated? I cant run it into my iPhone devices which is having iOS 9.2 OS..
If i try to run my xcode project in my iphone device (iOS 9.2) it shows an alert "Could not find developer disk image"
Here i attached the screenshots
Restart Xcode. If that don't fix - check if you have only one Xcode installed.
Go to Xcode Preferences and click on Locations
There you can see command line change that from new to old now try it.
In that Command line tools there in no 7.2 means you need to reinstall it.
Hope this helps you.

I do not have mac system. I want ipk file from my cordova application in visual studio 2015.
Is it possible without mac system ?
Is the any simulator for iPhone for window 10 ?
No, there isn't an emulator available. The only way to do iOS development at this point is to have some kind of OS X installation to use as a build machine. How you manage to get the OS X is up to you, but the simplest and most hassle free way is to get a (second hand, maybe?) Mac.
As far as I know you need a mac with an apple developer account for compilation. See https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/5.1.1/guide/cli/index.html under Add Platforms
Just to add a bit of information. You need a mac to be able to generate the necessary certificates and provisioning profile (More info here). Of course for this you will also need a Apple Developer account. That's all you need a Mac for.
Once you have those then you can build iOS applications via Phonegap Cloud Build and deploy the iOS app to your testers using something like DeployGate.
I got my colleague (who owns a mac) to generate those certificate for me. Since then I have been developing for Android and iOS without using a Mac again.

I just upgraded to OS X Mavericks, and I am very excited to be able to use all the new Mavericks technologies. I have just one problem: Where can I download Xcode?
It is not listed in either the updates page in the Mac App Store, or at Apple’s developer website. Please tell me that I do not have to be a paid developer-program subscriber to download this update! The real problem is not with Xcode itself, but rather with the 10.9 SDK. Without the header files in the SDK, I cannot tell what the APIs are. As I do not know what the APIs are, I cannot use any developer tool (even those not based on Objective-C).
I also noticed that Apple has not yet updated the Mac Dev Center with info for Mavericks, despite its public release. It is entirely probable that Apple is simply lagging behind with updating the developer website following today’s announcement.
Although it hadn't yet appeared under the (Mac) App Store Updates tab, I was able to search for it and update it that way.

I have completed an app using an old iphone sdk. My machine is running leopard. I would like to upload it to the app store and I understand that I have to enroll as an apple developer. What is plain old stupid is that I cannot read any official documentation about uploading to the appstore without purchasing a developer's license. I don't even know if I can upload with my version of xcode and ios sdk. or if i even go through xcode to submit my app for review. my question is how do i go about submitting my app for review and is it possible to do without upgrading my machine? Regardless of the price it is extra money that I do not want to spend.
The developer program is free. You need to pay just in case you want to submit your application. You can register and see any documentation
