I have completed an app using an old iphone sdk. My machine is running leopard. I would like to upload it to the app store and I understand that I have to enroll as an apple developer. What is plain old stupid is that I cannot read any official documentation about uploading to the appstore without purchasing a developer's license. I don't even know if I can upload with my version of xcode and ios sdk. or if i even go through xcode to submit my app for review. my question is how do i go about submitting my app for review and is it possible to do without upgrading my machine? Regardless of the price it is extra money that I do not want to spend.
The developer program is free. You need to pay just in case you want to submit your application. You can register and see any documentation

Is there a way to install GAE launcher on MacBook Pro with M1 chip?
Google App Engine Launcher has been deprecated (this was done about 2 years ago). First, Google stopped releasing updates for it but it still worked which is why some folks (I fall into that category) kept the launcher and were still using it.
Sometime (about 2020 or so), GAE changed to using Cloud Build for deployment which meant that Google App Engine launcher could no longer be used for deploying code (GAE Launcher used appcfg.py whereas cloud builder needs to use gcloud app deploy). This effectively killed GAE Launcher.
This led to us building a replacement for GAE Launcher - NoCommandLine - but it hasn't been explicitly tested on MacBook Pro with M1 though we believe it should work since it is at least IOS 10+. You can try it and let us know via the feedback form how you fared.

I had my app rejected, now I am ready to upload the new version but I the rejected version is still as rejected in the iTunes Connect page. I can set the app new version for Testflight but not for iTunes review.
That is the reason you can not upload your new version, you have to delete the old one. In your iTunes connect web page:
Login in iTunesConnect web page
Select App Store
Select the last version below Pricing and Availability
Scroll down to Build, it is below Apple Watch
There should be your rejected version.
There is a (-) minus red signal click on it (it will delete the version rejected)
Upload your new version
Remember: you have so select a new version Apple will not accept the binary as version 1 or whatever is your rejected version. Have to change in the info page on your app. Let me know if you can not follow it... and good luck.

I've been looking into using Apple's Testflight in iTunes Connect this morning. About 20 mins ago all references to external testing disappeared. At the same time I got an email from Apple about scheduled maintenance on iTunes connect that's happening in 10 days.
Have they removed the external testers feature for now?
How can I access this feature now?
For what its worth, looking at in in firebug, the column for External Testers was hidden with CSS.
Update: Its back up and available for me now.

I have submitted my app in windows phone marketplace.
I have selected the India as market and the price is 0.0(free app)while submitting.
I tried to download it from my system, but it shows
"You can't get apps in this region. You can check the Windows Phone Store
in your home region to see if the app is available there"
When i try too download the app from my mobile, i couldn't find the app in market place.
I am using Nokia Lumia510, and using this same account for the sign in at mobile.
Can you please give me a clarification why is this happening, and what should i do to see my app in mobile market place.
Are you sure this app has been approved already? There is a link on the bottom left of the page that says "Download and install manually" if you want to use it, however I would guess by looking at that page that Microsoft hasn't yet approved your app for the store - it can take a few days, and according to your link, your app was uploaded within the last 24 hours

Is it possible to publish an app to Windows Phone Marketplace as free and later change the price of the very same app, without changing anything else?
I mean the stats, reviews etc remains in this case, the app is the same, the price raised from free to some value after a promo time period, say 3 months.
I know that it is possible with Apple AppStore, I also know it is not possible with Android Market (btw what about Amazon Android store?, but this is out of topic here)
Unfortunately I did not find related info about WP7/WP7.5 Marketplace.
Thx for answers
It is probably possible (at least it was) as I remember a bug where apps that converted from free to paid could not be updated by the end-user and that very same bug also existed with apps that have trial versions.
Edit: I'm pretty sure you can change from free to paid, but for the other way, your app needs certification again which means republishing it. MSDN especially states that special condition.
Yes, it's possible. With the one limit that users that have already "purchased" the application (for $0), won't be asked to pay for it when you change the price.
Not even if they re-install the app.
