I changed the base currency of my store from Singapore dollar to Pound sterling. Had to manually change all the product prices as magento doesn't do that automatically. I dont know but after changing the base currency the cart total is correct but the displayed calculation is incorrect.
I have added the cart image for reference, the calculated total is correct but the breakdown is incorrect and doesn't make any sense. Can anyone help please????

In Magento 1.8.1, if I am changing the base currency then at the final step of the checkout i.e., order review section, we come across a row "Your credit card will be charged for".
I wanted to change the amount shown beside this in the selected currency instead of the base currency of the store! This is the core functionality of Magento but I want to change it.
I think it requires me to override the core code but I don't know how to achieve this.

Magento displaying correct result in cart but when I click for making payment then it shows wrong total result on paypal. Its showing total of item price without calculating tax for each item.
Please check the country in Admin> System> General and in shipping setting.
Match with merchant paypal country and check again.
I have a Magento site but the currency switcher does not calculate the price of the products correctly in the cart. It doesn't seem to change from the base currency. The tax calculated is correct in the case of the base currency, but the subtotal and grandtotal are not correct when changed from it. What could cause this?
I have an issue where a straight coupon code with a fixed price discount (74.99) is applied to any of a few sku.
I've never seen this happen before, but the code is applied just fine to any address in the EU, but outside the zone the code shows as applied and then doesn't display.
I considered the information in this discussion : Magento: Shopping cart price rule gets applied, but discount not subtracted from subtotal but it doesn't really apply since in the same store I can apply it to test addresses in Spain and the UK.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
When I add a product to my Shopping Cart, it does not display the standard shipping calculation. But once I proceed to the checkout page, and edit the shopping cart it shows the estimate price calculation.
How can I display the shipping when a visitor adds the product to the shopping cart?
I don't quite understand what you are trying to ask. This may be a shot in the dark, but when you first get to the cart, in order to get a shipping quote, you need to enter in your zip code. Perhaps if you've already gotten into the checkout process and have entered in an address, at that point since you've entered in a zip code already maybe the shopping cart page recognizes that?
