I am trying to install subclipse in IBM RTC RTC-Client-Mac-4.0 via this this url
http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.10.x
Through
Help > Install New Software > Add
I get
Your original request has been modified.
"SVNKit Library" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead.
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Subclipse Integration for Mylyn 3.x (Optional) 3.0.0 (org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.mylyn.feature.group 3.0.0)
Missing requirement: Subclipse Integration for Mylyn 3.x (Optional) 3.0.0 (org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.mylyn.feature.group 3.0.0) requires 'org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.core [3.0.0,4.0.0)' but it could not be found
When I look for software updates via Help> check for updates ....I get no updates found. When I look for installed softwares I dont see subclipse as listed either.
Am I missing something?
If you do not have Mylyn installed, which seems to be the case, then just deselect the option to install the Subclipse Mylyn integration.

I installed the latest version of Eclipse Neon in Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS. When I attempted to create a PHP project I got this error:
Failed to load JavaHL Library.
These are the errors that were encountered:
no libsvnjavahl-1 in java.library.path
no svnjavahl-1 in java.library.path
no svnjavahl in java.library.path
java.library.path = /usr/java/packages/lib/amd64:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/jni:/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu:/usr/lib/jni:/lib:/usr/lib
So I attempted to install JavaHL follow the instructions at:
http://subclipse.tigris.org/wiki/JavaHL
In Eclipse: Help => Installation Details I see I have Subclipse version 1.10.13. According that web page I need to install SVN/JavaHL version 1.8.x. When I follow the directions farther down that page and execute the command:
sudo apt-get install libsvn-java
what is installed is version 1.9.3-2ubuntu1. How can I install version 1.8.x?
I attempted to install Subclipse version 1.12.x by pasting the URL: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.12.x
In Eclipse: Help => Install New Software => Work with field, after removing both Subclipse and SVNKit. But the versions it was going to install was still Subclipse 1.10.13 and SVNKit Library 1.8.12
You are doing the right thing. The Subclipse version is the same because it is not possible to host both the 1.8.x and 1.9.x version of the JavaHL plugin on the same site and there is otherwise no difference in the versions.
That said, since you have 1.9.x available you should just move on to the new location and version of Subclipse that only supports 1.9.x. The project has moved here:
https://github.com/subclipse/subclipse
Information on installation and JavaHL is in the wiki.
Note that other than a few small bug fixes that have been released, it is not much different than the version that was on tigris. That said, that version is dead and will not receive any more updates so it makes sense to move to this version now.
I tried to install sonar qube plugin from http://downloads.sonarsource.com/eclipse/eclipse/ in Mule Studio Version (3.5.0) with Mule runtime (3.4.0). For my requirement I cannot got with the latest version of studio.
The following is the error message I am getting when trying to install the plugin in Mule studio
The operation cannot be completed. See the details.
Details:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: SonarQube Integration for Eclipse 3.5.0.20150804-1512-RELEASE (org.sonar.ide.eclipse.feature.feature.group 3.5.0.20150804-1512-RELEASE)
I tried installing the Sonar Qube plugin from the Eclipse marketplace, SonarQube 3.5.0 was listed there, but it was also mentioned that it has been deprecated and SonarLint 1.1.0 should be used instead.
I went ahead with the installation but as you reported it couldn't be completed as there seems to be a problem with the SonarQube Integration for Eclipse component.
However, can you try creating an offline copy of the update site and then try installing the plugin in studio?
http://mcuoneclipse.com/2014/07/03/replicating-an-eclipse-update-site-for-offline-usage/
EDIT
I continued with the same SonarQube installation, it took a lot of time and eclipse had to look for various alternate solutions (15 in total), but it finally came up with this dialog.
So, while installing the plugin, unselect the 2 components (if you don't need it) and move ahead with installation, I was able to successfully complete it, eclipse restarted and it was all done.

I am using WAS LP 8.5.5.2 with Oracle Java 1.7 on windows 7 Machine. I want to use wasJmsClient-2.0 feature in in my Application. I ran the "productInfo featureInfo" command but its output doesn't display feature wasJmsClient-2.0. How can I install this feature into the server?
The wasJmsClient-2.0 feature isn't available for 8.5.5.2, it is only currently available as a beta. It will be available on June 26th 2015, but that'll only install on top of 8.5.5.6 so you will need to upgrade.
There is a wasJmsClient-1.1 feature which is available for 8.5.5.2. If you need this on 8.5.5.2 then you can get it by downloading the wlp-extended-8.5.5.2.jar which can be downloaded from fix central. Otherwise I'd suggest upgrading to the latest from fix central, or wasdev.net and running:
bin/featureManager install wasJmsClient-1.1
I recently tried to upgrade my log4net to the new 2.0.0 version.
but I wasn't able to do so, cause I have another library (combres.mvc) that has a dependency for log4net 1.2.11
Install failed. Rolling back...
Updating 'log4net 1.2.11' to 'log4net 2.0.0' failed. Unable to find a version of 'combres' that is compatible with 'log4net 2.0.0'.
Now the combres is an open source which I can download here http://combres.codeplex.com/
Does any one know how can I fix this, that the combres library will support log4net 2.0.0 or any other future version that may come out?
I did tried to contact the publisher with no help, It seems that he is not supporting this library any more...
Yesterday I had install the eclipse and the Android plugin. Everything works perfectly, but I would like to install the SVN plugin too. I had add the suite, and selected the three main components, but when I click on the next it stack in. The eclipse write "Calculateing requriements and dependencies" and than I just waiting.
So I had disabled all another update site and it works, but then I got the following message:
"could not upgrade:missing compnents: svn.rep.grap". It is very good, but I would like to install this component at NOW beside of the another svn tools.
Any ideas?
The Subclipse plugin can be installed from the Eclipse Marketplace Client or by adding the update site URL of http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.8.x
Note that Subclipse requires the JavaHL native library that is part of Subversion. The easiest way to get this is to install the latest Subversion client distribution provided by CollabNet:
http://www.open.collab.net/downloads/community/
You can also install Subversion via MacPorts. Both of these include the JavaHL library and properly link it in your System folder so that is visible to the Subclipse plugin running in Eclipse. I would assume you could also install via Homebrew but I have not tried that option.
