Where can I find the latest software image for an old Google Mini Appliance? - google-search-appliance

I'm trying to bring back to service the Google Mini that I found in our racks.
I managed to login, and found that the software version is 5.0.4.
AFAIN, there is already version 7.6, but we can't download any new software version without access to Google Enterprise support portal, and We can't find the login details...
Any idea where can I find the latest software image (and how to update)?
Thanks in advance!
Gilad

The Google Mini was discontinued about 4 or 5 years ago. The software version, of the Mini, never went beyond the 5.x series line.
The Google Mini software is no longer available for download as it is no longer supported. Any legal license to use it would have expired long ago.
The full Google Search Appliance is currently on version 7.6

Microsoft USD - The newer version of USD comparision

I am currently working on USD 1.0 which is of-course a very old version of USD.
We are trying to move to the newest version of USD in my organization, which i believe is USD 4.0
I have tried searching the web but other than the MSDN article i have been able to gather much detail on this version.
I am trying to figure out my possibilities in trying to adapt to this newer version. In light of it, i have a few questions listed below,
Has Microsoft released only the preview/trial version of USD 4.0 yet? Or is it made available for general public which means we can access and start developing in our production environment?
Is the new version of USD, a web based version? I have heard that
this version is not the desktop application like it was before.
Will it be safe to migrate from USD 1.0 to USD 4.0?
Microsoft has also introduced Unified Client Interface, what is it?
Is it available only with USD 4.0?
Features comparison with USD 1.0?
If Microsoft have released the preview version only, then when will
they release the stable version? (any tentative date)?
Also, if they have released the preview version just then obviously they might change it in future. Therefore, it will not be wise enough to migrate to it if it is just a preview version.
Looking forward to your answers. Any sort of videos, articles, documentations, press releases, your personal opinions are welcome.
Thanks
Most 'manual' based MSDN information has been moved to Microsoft Docs: https://learn.microsoft.com
USD 4.x is still a desktop application that loads MSD components. You can upgrade to a more recent version 3.2 quite easily:
You can upgrade a Unified Service Desk 1.x or Unified Service Desk 2.0 sample application package to Unified Service Desk 3.2 by importing the Upgrade sample application package. The upgrade will not affect the configuration data associated with the existing solution.
Follow the steps here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/unified-service-desk/admin/upgrade-unified-service-desk-solution?view=dynamics-usd-3
From there on forward it is much more easy to compare 3.x with 4.x and answer all your remaining questions.
Neil Parkhurst also has a ton of information.

Tango won't update to Nash

I am currently using Project Tango in UK. I tried to use system update to upgrade to Nash release, but it shows "your system is up to date". I am sure the device is currently in Libnitz. Is Google blocking OTA out of USA?
i'm using Tango from France, and typically my Tango detects/receives each update about 1 week after the official release date, whatever the reason. (I let the device on, with internet access through Wifi, during my daily devs). I'm currently in Leibniz (1.10) waiting the latest 1.11 to be detected/downloaded.
By the way, if you just get a NEW tango, the gap of software between it and latest release may be important : for instance, the latest new Tango we get last month was in January 2015 software version (i.e. a few month gap, so).
Hope it helps. ;-)
OTA is not blocked by Country, It should be OK for you to download in UK or France.
Please check on this weekend to see if you got the Nash OTA updated.
you can also contact project-tango-help#google.com, if you still can't get OTA updated.
also I suspect 1.11 should be Leibniz and 1.13 : Nash.
1.12 Mandelbrot was skipped.
I emailed project-tango-help#google yesterday because my system didn't update to Nash but the Project Tango Core app from the Play store did. Their response was to wait until this weekend. I'm in the US.
after a week off, my Tango has downloaded the 506.9 MB of Nash Release update this morning (my location is France). My feedback testing it on my cloud acquisition app : no visible benefit on cloud points density. I'm doing more test....

Google Mini License

I have a Google Mini appliance with the 50,000 document license. Does anyone know what happens when my document count goes over 50,000? The mini is still working and obviously, the true 2 year license does not apply anymore but will it start to falter over the document limit? Thanks.
The Google Mini is no longer supported by Google so if you run into any issues then you will not have tech support to resolve the issue. Most Google Mini users have migrated to other options.

Is Rhoconnect Rhosync free to use

I am developing mobile apps with rhodes using Rhoconnect .
I don't know is their any licence or it is free to use ...
I searched complete site of motorola but not get whether it is free or having licence ...
Is their any other option to sync application data with backend without using Rhoconnect
Rhodes and Rhostudio Eclipse plugin are released under free MIT (AS IS) license. you can verify it by looking at their license files located in their git repos that you can find here: https://github.com/rhomobile
As for Rhoconnect, it comes with free 10 device license, and rest you have to talk to sales department to get quota for your needs.

Magento: Are there stats on install base (by version) for module developers?

As the question states, I am preparing to deploy my first couple modules on the Magento Connect store and want to make sure I am targeting the best versions. Testing on 1.3 is proving to be a bit of a pain, and if only a few people use that version I would rather spend the time making the modules better!
Google hasn't helped as yet, though I think the keywords I use are getting picked up as other more specific technical questions (Google Base, for example).
Does this information exist? What about your personal experience? For me, I have only encountered installations below 1.5 Community (1.10 Enterprise) for upgrade projects. I haven't personally encountered a client that is on 1.4 and plans to stay on 1.4.
Thanks!
Tim
There are a signification amount of people who have older versions and wont upgrade because of the complexity and the amount of modification they have done to their stores.
Most people right now who are on community version seem to be on 1.5 or 1.6, but if you want to test older versions just download from the archive install locally and see if it works for the older versions.
Here is a link to the downloadable versions of magento, in case you decide to test on those older versions:
