I am currently using Project Tango in UK. I tried to use system update to upgrade to Nash release, but it shows "your system is up to date". I am sure the device is currently in Libnitz. Is Google blocking OTA out of USA?
i'm using Tango from France, and typically my Tango detects/receives each update about 1 week after the official release date, whatever the reason. (I let the device on, with internet access through Wifi, during my daily devs). I'm currently in Leibniz (1.10) waiting the latest 1.11 to be detected/downloaded.
By the way, if you just get a NEW tango, the gap of software between it and latest release may be important : for instance, the latest new Tango we get last month was in January 2015 software version (i.e. a few month gap, so).
Hope it helps. ;-)
OTA is not blocked by Country, It should be OK for you to download in UK or France.
Please check on this weekend to see if you got the Nash OTA updated.
you can also contact project-tango-help#google.com, if you still can't get OTA updated.
also I suspect 1.11 should be Leibniz and 1.13 : Nash.
1.12 Mandelbrot was skipped.
I emailed project-tango-help#google yesterday because my system didn't update to Nash but the Project Tango Core app from the Play store did. Their response was to wait until this weekend. I'm in the US.
after a week off, my Tango has downloaded the 506.9 MB of Nash Release update this morning (my location is France). My feedback testing it on my cloud acquisition app : no visible benefit on cloud points density. I'm doing more test....

I am trying to find the FHIR 5.0 specifications and saw that some people seem to be using the FHIR v5.0 server already. According to the official FHIR blog, the specification was supposed to be released in the 3rd quarter of this year (of course COVID could have slowed this down). Could someone point me in the right direction please?
5.0 is in development and is scheduled to start balloting in May 2021. It's not likely to publish as a final 'official' release until Q2 2022. However, there's a "continuous integration build" that shows what the current proposed content for R5 is hosted here: http://build.fhir.org. As well, we produce snapshots of the draft R5 release for connectathons and other purposes so that there's a semi-stable release people can write code against when testing for connectathon.
The current timeline has indeed been impacted by COVID, but it's also been impacted by the appetite of the community for a new release and the ever increasing amount of work involved in producing a new release.
The Tango Constructor app is referenced in list of Tango tools
Tango Constructor
but it is not available or listed in the Google Play Store, at least in the USA.
Thanks.
After several release update on the Tango API,
We had new features, which may not backward compatible with the older version of APKs, we do care about usr experience for customers. we took down TangoConstructor and so other apps which is bad at this time.
Once we have new fix for those apps. it will be back online.
We will let you know once it is available again.
I also had the same question and sent a message to Google. Their reply:
"I have double checked with my team and it appears the app is being updated and it is not because of your country. That is most likely why you're seeing that message"
I think the current version is not compatible to Zaniah so they removed it for now. It is like with "ADF Inspector" which is still available on play store, but when you try to load an ADF, it crashes.
By the way, I'm from Germany and I also see this "not available in your country" message. So it is definitely not because of region restrictions when it is not even available in USA
A few system updates ago I had trouble receiving the OTA for the Tango. It appears that a similar problem has occurred again.
My Tango core has successfully updated to the Pythagoras revision, but my kernel version still reads build KOT49H.150505. I have tried the obvious things such as clicking on "check for updates" in the "About tablet" settings menu, but I still get that my system is up to date.
On the developer release notes it says that the kernel build should be KOT49H.150609.
A couple of questions, has anyone successfully downloaded the latest OTA? How can I get my tablet to download this new kernel version?
I am worried about this mismatch between tango core and OTA since last time it rendered the tango basically unusable. This time around things seem to be relatively stable, but I am worried that perhaps there might be performance degradation.
New device unboxed a couple of days ago. Cannot use OTA to upgrade, says current software is up to date even though it is not. Without a current kernel I cannot download tango core, etc. So the device is basically non-functional (other than a plain tablet :-)) out of the box.
Same problem as this question:
Cannot update Tango Core - "Package file was not signed correctly"
Factory resets did not fix the problem. Unlike the previous question, waiting 48 hours provided no resolution. Several users on the Google+ developer group are having similar issues with this batch of devices, so this seems to be a common problem
Thanks!
We had an error in our OTA server configuration that we fixed this morning. This might take some time to propagate, but you should start seeing updates soon. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I recently had my app certified (first time!) but not automatically published. The game is Easter themed and hence I'd like it to appear in the new list over the Easter period. I need to know how best to achieve this.
According to many posts online, the 'new list' isn't sorted in order of release date but instead, in order of certification date, an automated system, the certifiers choice etc.
Thre are some theories here:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6536557/first-time-game-shows-up-way-down-the-list-of-new-free-games-on-wp7-marketplace
Both of these posts are in 2011 and aren't conclusive.
Does anybody know what ACTUALLY happens?
Thank you for any reply.
In my experience, the new apps are changed once per day or in a similar fashion. Again, from experience, you can't do anything to ensure that your application is first. However, I have manually published applications after they have been tested and approved and they were listed in the 'new' category as if they were published that day.
Usually, don't worry because your app will be listed in the first 20 of that 'day' at least once and if you get - or set ;) - some high ratings people will see it.
I found this out the hard way. The plan was to release to a few small markets to get some feedback and then do an update and release to the USA. Well, once the game was released to the USA it was not considered new and did not go into the NEW GAME list. It retained the release date of the initial release to the small markets. And as such, I totally missed out on the new release spike that we all have come to love and enjoy.

I have some apps on marketplace already. I can talk from experience. The release after you have published will depend on countries and will delay without fully control. Also if you don't make any advertisement, it will not work with only "keywords on marketplace". I have solved by using my own Webservice and I flagged the app with "LOCKED" view. On EASTERN you can unlock the app by using your Webservice flag and immediately when the app starts, user can use it UNLOCKED.
No other solution is working in time usable way. But I fully like it to have my own app under full control. Also, I have added an "Code behind" for Testers to let them test the app before EASTERN.
Happy eastern
