I would like to open 20 different Facebook Group Pages with Chrome (I Do Not EVER Use Safari) with a "batch" file. I know that's a 'Windows' term but that's all I know...
Here's What I Do Now:
Once the Chrome Browser is up, I can open them one at a time from 'Notes' with all the links in one file and then clicking on one link, then click back to notes and click on the next link...
I'd like to save a lot of Daily labor by creating a desktop file I can click on to open them all at once...
I have 41 different groups I use but on my system Chrome can open 20 at a time without a lot of 'WAIT' Time...
I'm REALLY IGNORANT! All the Experience I have is DOS 3.1, from the 1980s-90s I hope one of You WIZARDS can help me with this problem...

I would say the most user-friendly way to achieve this is using Apples build in Automator App.
Here is what I did:
Create a new Automator Program.
I added a "Get Specified URLs" block. Here you can add all the websites you want to open up.
Then I added a "Run Shell Script" block that contains the code to open up Chrome for every url you entered above. Just make sure to pick "As Argument" in the top right of the block.
Once saved all your websites should open up at once.
My system language is set to german but you should be fine to follow along.

I have tried time and time again to get remote-edit working within atom. I have added my known working FTP server, click on the Browse Hosts button, and attempt to connect. I am 100% sure the username and password are correct. I don't know what kind of data to provide, other than it worked once, but has never worked again.
From a look at the source, remote-edit prints all errors to the console. To open the console, open the View menu, then browse to Developer and click Toggle Developer Tools. Or use the shortcut CmdAltI (it's probably CtrlAltI on Windows.) This should help finding the cause of your problem.

Can anyone tell me how to clear the 'Recent items' list in Preview application of Mac OS X through code? Is there a terminal command that can do this?
Or is there any way to click on 'Clear Menu' in 'Open Recent' of the 'File' menu in Preview?
Alternatively, does someone know where Preview stores this information and how do to remove it?

Ok, so none of the described methods on the websites I could find actually succeeded in getting rid of all the 'recent document' lists in all of my apps.
I feel the most common sense approach would be (for OSX 10.12 / Sierra):
First go to system settings > general and choose "none" in the recent file dropdown menu (my OSX is in another language so the exact terms might be different, but you should be able to see what I mean). / This will get rid of most, but not all recent-items in different apps.
Get familiar with Apple's 'defaults' command in terminal. Now, hunt for any lists you might still want to get rid off, e.g. none of the options mentioned in the answers already listed here helped to get rid of the recent-items list in Finders "GO" menu. I played around with the defaults command and found that: "write com.apple.finder "FXRecentFolders" '({})' && killall Finder" does the trick for me. Playing around I found similar solutions for many of the other apps that where still able to maintain a list of recent items.
Create a shell script containing the commands you found during step 2.
Schedule the script to be run automatically on a preset interval or action (e.g. log out). AND/OR create an alias in your shell's profile (or directly apply the script as a function inside it) so you can call it with a single command from your terminal. (for instance: I have created an alias to it, so when I now type "killrecent" in terminal, it empties all the recent-items lists I've been able to find.

You may try the approach outlined here, which is to run
defaults delete com.apple.Preview.LSSharedFileList RecentDocuments
in the Terminal (manually or through your app). However I tried this and it didn't work for me (OSX 10.11), since the Preview defaults file doesn't contain this entry.
You can use
defaults write com.apple.Preview NSRecentDocumentsLimit 0
which will hide all recently used items, but as soon as you set that number to anything greater than 0, they will show up again.
I also checked the ScriptingBridge Interface for Preview, but couldn't find anything useful. So unfortunately it looks like this is not possible.

I've been working for a while with TextMate 2 and there's something I've never been able to solve.
Is it possible to always show the file browser at launch?
I know you can show it with ctrl+alt+cmd+D but I'd like it to always show at launch without having to make this shortcut (as I launch/quit TextMate many times in a day).
I'd be really grateful if anyone had a solution for this problem.

The file browser is shown when directories are opened or a favorite is open that is a directory. It is not shown when a single file is opened. If you want the file browser shown you should either open the directory itself or take advantage of the Favorite system.
I'm interested to. Did you already find out how to always show the file manager? Maybe it's possible through .tm_properties file?
I need a tool to capture and attach screenshots in TFS team web access. Instead of having some thrid party tool that captures and saves images on disk and then you have to attach that image to a bug like bugshooting. I want something integrated within TFS.
In VS11 it is possible to copy and paste your screen shots in the description field of the work item. You can check out the VS11 Beta version yourself.
There's nothing integrated in VS, but there are a couple of easy options:
use the standard Windows screenshot function. Alt-PrtScrn will capture the current window, and then you can paste into your work item's Attachments pane. It'll create a generic filename and attach as a PNG.
if you're using Win7, try the "Snipping tool" (just press Start and type "snip" to find it). That will capture a specified area and can then copy it to the clipboard or save to a file. If you copy & paste you still have the problem of generic filenames, though, so personally I still tend to save it myself.

You may want to check the Capture Custom Control - you can use it to embed a "Capture" button in your work items. It automatically attaches the screenshot to your work item.

never-mine.., the tool called "Record Steps To Reproduce the Problems" , this tool built for Taking screenshots of doing any thing in your machine step by step... WOW
You just need to open the start panel and then write "record steps to reproduce a problem". starting record, and make you job that you want, then when you finish stop recording and save the zip file in your machine.
the zip file will expose a word document contains every single click that you make and every page you've open with some description.
I use firefox for my web development and I bet most of you guys too. I've been doing a lot of form development recently and this annoying message
"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."
is just beginning to piss me off.. I mean, come on! I don't need protection on my localhost, thank you! So, my question is: are you aware of any config, hack, plugin to suppress it? If not, how do you live with it?
Apparently there is neither configuration option nor extension to turn off this annoying confirmation window.
However, the workaround I use is as follows.
Download and install application AutoHotkey from: http://www.autohotkey.com/
Create the following script:
^f5::
Send {f5}
sleep 100
Send {enter}
Save with .ahk extension.
Double click to run it (a new icon should show up in the system tray).
Now every time you press Ctrl+F5, the script presses F5 and then Enter. Voila, the confirmation window supressed.
Here's an equivalent of Patrick's answer for Linux users (Ubuntu in my case).
Install autokey (it's in the repos). Add this python script:

keyboard.send_keys("<f5>")
time.sleep(0.5)
keyboard.send_keys("<enter>")
Hook this script to f5 and you will never see the confirm message again. Tested with latest firefox.
