how can set the different languages in Google play store?
I hope I can use different language release in Google play store.
I have write the English name in Main store listing, and Chinese name. But I don't know why it's always display Chinese name. Where has a problem?
The dashboard will show English name, but when I click the link(view on Google Play), it's will show Chinese.
I had tried to add &hl=en-GB or &hl=en-AU in URL, but it's still show Chinese.
How can I do? I want to show two languages Enhlish & Chinese. When I want to promote in Australia, the link I posted can display the English version, but when I promote in Taiwan, I want the link content to display Chinese.
This is link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luvtas.camping

Play store listing takes the language of the device. So probably your device language is Chinese so it is displaying in Chinese. if you change it to english, then it will show in english.

How to load only part of the dictionary in AEM 6.0?

I am using AEM6.0 SP2. On author, the editor interface for french site shows in french language; though my preferences is set to English. Author dialog labels/texts are shown in french translation. This happens to my site only and does not happen in Geometrixx.
For example cancel inheritance dialog shows like this
But same dialog for a Geometrixx site shows in English. I compared Geometrixx site with mine and couldnt find any significant difference.
Further digging, I am seeing /libs/cq/i18n/dict.en_us.json returns only custom translation, but /libs/cq/i18n/dict.fr_ca.json in additional to our custom translation returns also AEM OOTB translations. The custom translations are placed properly at /apps/myapp/i18n. org.apache.sling.i18n jar version is 2.2.8.
How to render author dialog in preference language only and not site language?
The dictionaries are meant to match keys to the language specific text and fall back to the key if a translation for the specified language doesn't exist. Adobe implements this by making the key English and providing an English dictionary. This is why you don't see OOTB English translations for http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/i18n/dict.en_us.json. Is it possible that you're keys are the French text and it's falling back to the key?

Issue with magento udropship & languages / storeviews

So my problem regarding MAGENTO languages and view stores.
I have a website with one language Spanish. I got an extention installed for Vendors which can come and add products and so. My issue is, that I want my vendors portal to be in English and the vendor portal is take the language from the default store in my system which is Spanish.
I added another store ENGLISH one, but when I change my default store to the english on I get my main website in English.
Im strugeling with it, I dont know how do fix that issue. I was thinking maybe I can somehow change the language in the vendors portal specificly from code? Or maybe you got other solution.
my extention is Udropship for refrences.
You can try to set English as default language and Spanish as language for your default website/storeview. Go to System/Configuration. Look into the top left corner, thre is select where you can switch config scope. If you set this so then admin panel will be displayed in English whilst frontend will be still displayed in Spanish.

Image button generator for language names

I am looking to create jpg/png buttons with text as various language names. But the online tools don't seem to recognize the non-english words like language names for arabic, thai and hindi etc.
I tried http://dabuttonfactory.com/ with text as name of the language in local characters and all I see is ??????.
Any pointer or online resource to create non-css image buttons would be of great help?
Thanks in advance.
The issue is with the fonts. The online tool you mentioned has limited fonts and none of them support the scripts you want to create buttons for. I just searched around and found this service which apparently has a wider variety of fonts and also lets you to upload your own font. The caveat is that it seems to be a paid service.

Can I make an app in my language?

I've created an app, but I got rejected because of some language problems. What I did was that I've created an app in my own language.
So how can I pass the certification, as it must be possible to create an app to my marketplace in my language? It's content is dynamic so it makes no sence having an english translation. Possible steps:
AssemblyInfo.cs
set [assembly: NeutralResourcesLanguageAttribute("no")] (my is "no"/"no-NO")
Project settings (application)
add Your suported cultures (i have 5, Norwegian is hard :P)
deselected English
Select only my marketplace (1, deselect 190 :D)
Provide Norwegian store description
Provide English description for the testers
Should make them happy right? If I try to upload the xap now I get the following:
3010: The [NeutralResourceLanguage] attribute is invalid on the entry assembly. Update the assembly and then try again.
So how can I successfully create a app for my own langauge and pass certification, I only want my app available in my marketplace?
According to How do I localize for a language that isn't supported? section in following blog poost:
http://blogs.windows.com/windows_phone/b/wpdev/archive/2012/04/02/globalizing-and-localizing-a-windows-phone-app.aspx
You have to set as neutral a language which is a supported by the Store:
Set your neutral language to one of the supported display languages. For example, 'English (United States)'.
In the description section, when uploading to the DevCenter, you have to write a note in the neutral language saying that the app is actually in an unsupported languate, the description in the language (not supported) of the app and a description in the selected neutral language (supported). I.e. you don't only have to write a description in supported language for testers, but for everyone:
On App Hub, you will be prompted to input metadata and a description for the neutral language you chose (for the above example, you'll be prompted for English). You must include the following three items in the 'Detailed description' field to pass certification:
A note, such as ‘The language of this application is [unsupported language name]’. This note must be written in the same language as the neutral language. For example, if you chose 'English (United States)' as your neutral language, the note must be written in English (United States). This note must be the first item in the ‘Detailed description’ field.
Your app description, in the same language as the neutral language.
Your app description, in the unsupported language.

Submitting a non-english app to Marketplace, assembly information

I've made a Norwegian app. And in the Assembly Information -> Neutral Language I set the property to "Norwegian", default is "English (United States)". But when I tried to submit, I got an error, during the upload of the xap file. It said something about server error (don't remember exactly what more it said). Then I googled the error, and found a blog post of someone with the same error, and he said that the Neutral Language had to be set to "English (United States). So I did this, and the submission went fine.
However, now I see in the "details" of my submitted app, that the Language field is "English". And I'm wondering, will this be a problem for my Norwegian app? All text in the app is in Norwegian.
If this is a problem, what can I now do?
Unless you localized your application for both English and Norwegian, you should set the Neutral Language to English. And by English, I mean en, not en-US. The former is English (International) the latter is English (US).
However, if you only have Norwegian, set the Neutral Language to no. Just be aware, that the application will only be approved for the Norwegian marketplace.
If you want the application to be in the international marketplace (or for several markets, so say, tourists also can use your application), you need a English localization as well.
The marketplace determines what supported languages you have, based on your Resources files. So you should have a invariant culture that matches your neutral language.
I'll personally recommend en as neutral language, and so ensure you have following resource files:
Resources.resx
Resources.no.resx
Then you'll get support for both a English and Norwegian description (and images, etc.) on the marketplace submission.
