Visual Studio 2010
I was using log4net for Visual Studio 2005. However, I am now using visual studio 2010.
log4net is not available for that framework.
Is there any other logging libraries out there that I can use?
Many thanks,
Just to clarify, the IDE isn't really a factor here. That said, use Enterprise Library.
If you want to stick with log4Net, it may be as simple as changing your application's target framework. See this post that describes how the author was able to get log4Net up and running: http://krishnabhargav.blogspot.com/2010/02/using-net-35-clr-20-dll-inside-visual.html

I have developed a project (AngularJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS) with Visual Studio 2015 (.sln) in Windows, and want to know how I can open it with Visual Studio Code in iOS.
Thanks!
Visual Studio Code is meant to be a powerful editor and not a full IDE. So, it isn't designed to work with project files (.sln or .csproj).
If you want to use your project created in Windows, then create a .NET Core application. See, more information on the .NET Core.

Can I create ASP.NET-5 projects in Visual Studio 2013 somehow?
Also share please links with documentation, examples or anything that could help to create project using mvc6 that used to be on web api.
The simple answer is not. I'm pretty sure, vNext is such big change in Microsoft technologies that they will not put any effort in adding that vs2013, you can get vs2015 community edition is very complete free version of visual studio.
this link is very good starting point.
I need to program some .Net Gadgeteer modules for a big project on visual studio 2012.
Unfortunately I can't find the templates for Gadgeteer.
All the tutorial I have found says I have to use visual c# or visual studio 2012.
Do you know if some suitable templates exist?
The templates can be found at the codeplex project. https://gadgeteer.codeplex.com/
Here is a detailed tutorial of setting up the environment. http://gadgeteerguy.com/Tutorials/TutorialView/tabid/147/ArticleId/23/Getting-Started-Guide.aspx
Can anyone tell me where to find an visual studios 2010 atl web service template like the one that comes with visual studios 2008?
Thanks.
According to the comments on the Visual C++ Team Blog they were removed starting with Visual Studio 2008. However, you can find the latest version on codeplex. There may be a way to use the latest compiler to build such a project, by utilizing the project template from the a previous version of Visual Studio. This article provides a description of how it could be done.
I would like to use Nemerle to write parts of a .NET application. Is there a plugin for Visual C# 2010 Express?
The only one I found returns an error because it is thought for a different version of Visual C#.
The plan is to release Nemerle 1.0 with full 2008 integration ASAP, then work on 2010. There are major differences between these versions of Visual Studio.
There is no full working add on for VS2010 right now.
There is some early stage work.
If you wish, you can help with this project.
