I have a network server named acesso and I access it in IE by: http://acesso/caiautorizacao/ for exemple...
But if I try this url on firefox, it redirects to www.acesso.com/caiautorizacao.
May it can be a configuration problem? Maybe changing some value of about:config ??
Edit: Google Chorme shows 404 error in this same url.
Edit[2]: My firefox version is 7.0.1 on a Windows 7 Home Premium x86.
This is a known Mozilla bug. People are asking for it to be resolved, but so far no good.
Try changing the value of both browser.fixup.alternate.enabled and keyword.enabled to false from about:config
add
127.0.0.1 acesso
to your hosts file

This issue may be due to an Adobe Flash player (shock wave) cras. Restart your browser or system itself, if not resolved try updating the plugin.

Today when I logged into facebook, I saw two favicons in address bar near to the identity portion (I don't know exact name of this part. If somebody know, just edit my question) like the screenshot below;
But there is only one favicon in the login page;
Why is this so? What will be the possible reason? I use Firefox 13.0 in Windows 7.
The squared area is SSL certificate information. SSL certificate contains company information (Facebook), I suppose that Firefox retrieves favicon from the company's website address, in this case facebook.com).
P.S. it doesn't matter what "level" of answer you want to receive, each kind of question belongs to its particular domain.

Error 80072F76 while updating windows phone.
Reply Quote Edit
While updating windows phone 7 to 7.5 in zune i am getting the following error:
Can't check for updates right now. Please try again later. An Error has occured
80072F76
Please tell me ....
This MSDN Article suggests that the issue may be a firewall or antivirus stopping you from connecting properly. If you are trying this at work then you may need to contact your administrator to rectify this.
If both of these have been checked and disabled (for a very short time) or fixed then it may be a temporary issue with your ISP or even Microsoft. In that case I'd give it half an hour, then try the update again

I got a localhost service on my machine, but I don't remember installing it lol.
And now that I am really need it, I can't figure out who is running this service... It's just a simple page of "It works!".
Been trying searching my win7 for "It works!" keyword but found nothing. And all the index.html files seems to be not it. So it's really funny now...
Anyway I can find it out?
Edit:
This is the my localhost icon , I even search it on Google images without any result...
You have Collabnet Subversion Edge installed on your machine. This brings along it's own customised setup of Apache.
Find the folder c:\inetpub\wwwroot\yourservice, if you are using the iis to host your services.

I want to change the default useragent of my safari browser in Windows7 OS.
Whenever I change from Develop-->UserAgent--> other & restart it, it will set to default.
I want to override the default.
can you please tell me hoe can I do that?
It seems that the User Agent Preference is not remembered on restarts. It's only available for the current session.
Why do you need to remember the preference? You can always check what the browser agent is returning by checking here
Check your user agent string
