Today when I logged into facebook, I saw two favicons in address bar near to the identity portion (I don't know exact name of this part. If somebody know, just edit my question) like the screenshot below;
But there is only one favicon in the login page;
Why is this so? What will be the possible reason? I use Firefox 13.0 in Windows 7.

The squared area is SSL certificate information. SSL certificate contains company information (Facebook), I suppose that Firefox retrieves favicon from the company's website address, in this case facebook.com).
P.S. it doesn't matter what "level" of answer you want to receive, each kind of question belongs to its particular domain.

Why does a youtube icon show up on facebook after users on my site make a comment?
For example: http://freeskateboardsticker.com/news/articles.php?articleId=54
If you make a comment on any of the pages on my site, the comments are fine and do what they are supposed to do, but after the user makes a comment and they go to their facebook account to see that comment, there is a YouTube icon next to it.
How to change this?
I have searched and cannot find anyone else with this issue.
Thank You.
James

I have looked in a lot of places but it seems i can't find in microsoft site a detalied page with all the hash for all the windows 7 versions.
Can anyone point me to the right page?
Thanks.
If you are downloading these from MSDN, then you can find the SHA hash when you click the View link in the Details column in the Downloads area.
Microsoft have this information readily available to anyone downloading Windows from one of the official authorised areas. If you are getting the download images from somewhere else then the official SHA is going to be of no use to you, as it depnds on what the image is and how it is made. Tthe SHA hash is simply a fingerprint of that particular image and in no way validates or authenticates the contents as being whole and untampered with.

I have a requirement that I need to restrict my kids from browsing some sites . I want to be the adminbstrator for my machine, but other users have limited access to internet. Is there any software / proxy for this ? i want solution for both windows / linux and mac
My brother managed his daughters' access on Macs like this:
Restrict Safari from going to sites not in the Bookmarks
Only an administrator can create bookmarks
His user is an administrator; theirs aren't.
Kids can be pretty smart, though, and once they're sufficiently motivated to figure out how to get around your access controls it's not worth continuing the arms race.

In FireFox 3.6.1 (a fresh install), I am seeing a request sent to the first search result (Google) without user interaction.
Why is this?
Some browsers are set up to preload some links in a page, in order to minimize perceived delays. Google actually supports this. For example, When i google for "blah", the first result includes this code:
<link rel=prefetch href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blah">
A browser that supports this "microformat", or has a plugin installed that does, might load the page before it's requested, assuming (quite correctly, in many cases) that a user will click on the first search result they see.

A friend of mine wishes to buy a domain but keep his name hidden. Is there a secure way of doing so?
Yes, It's called Privacy Protection and that's possible if your Domain Registrar supports this. Now a days almost all registrars support this. I buy my domains from answerable.com which is very economical and provides privacy protection as well.

If you buy the domain through godaddy.com, there's an option of hiding your info. I believe they charge for that service though.
