I have 12 different apps on WP7 platform and the trial versions use Microsoft Advertising to display ads.
Should I be creating an AdUnit for each app separately on PubCenter or should I create a single AdUnit and use it for all my apps.
Does this even matter? I mean, if the apps have a single adunit, can it make more money (eCPM)
Thanks in advance.

An ad unit is the space on a webpage where ads are displayed. An ad unit can display one or more ads. You determine how you want an ad unit to look, where you want it to appear on a page, and what kind of ad content you'd like to see displayed. You can add different ad units to different pages on your website, or use a single ad unit for all webpages.

Nowadays we see lots of local app stores for iOS and Android all over the world, at least there is 2 legal app stores else than Google Play in my country.
Is it possible to create a custom store like that for windows phone?
There are custom ROMs for some WP devices (googleable); also, if you developer unlock the phone officially, you can install apps (up to 10) via datacable.
But there's no quick "allow 3rd party" setting like on Android, so running a store for casual users is unrealistic.
There is no way to create a new Store on Windows Phone. You can however distribute Enterprise Applications to devices that are enrolled with your organization. See this topic for more information.

I have a few questions for building apps.
Can u make apps using c++?
How do I get an app from my testing environment onto my windows phone 8?
Do I have to worry about cross phone compatibility?
paying $200 to put apps on the marketplace is extremely out of the question. I just want to test my app on my actual phone.
I assume you are trying to develop windows phone 8 apps, and yes you can develop using c++, but you have to read up on async await, as the sdk have tons of it in order to give the fluid user experience.
And the last time I checked, the developer account only costs $25 now
Well Yes!
You need to unlock your Windows Phone to actually test in on a Hardware Device.
You don't need to worry about the compatibility, but you should take note of the High-Res Phones that are in the Market too.

I have submitted my app in windows phone marketplace.
I have selected the India as market and the price is 0.0(free app)while submitting.
I tried to download it from my system, but it shows
"You can't get apps in this region. You can check the Windows Phone Store
in your home region to see if the app is available there"
When i try too download the app from my mobile, i couldn't find the app in market place.
I am using Nokia Lumia510, and using this same account for the sign in at mobile.
Can you please give me a clarification why is this happening, and what should i do to see my app in mobile market place.
Are you sure this app has been approved already? There is a link on the bottom left of the page that says "Download and install manually" if you want to use it, however I would guess by looking at that page that Microsoft hasn't yet approved your app for the store - it can take a few days, and according to your link, your app was uploaded within the last 24 hours

I've seen a great deal of games on windows phone featuring the xbox mark and a lot not featuring it. I have some questions about that:
1) What is the difference between the 2 types of games? As i see it, i think that the xbox versions can award achievements for some tasks on the users xbox profile. Is there more?
2) How can one add a game to the marketplace and make it xbox-able?
Any tutorial or web source could be of great use!
To get Xbox live approved, I think you have to work with Microsoft - you have to get your company approved - see http://www.xbox.com/en-US/developers/wp7 for more details.

Is it possible to publish an app to Windows Phone Marketplace as free and later change the price of the very same app, without changing anything else?
I mean the stats, reviews etc remains in this case, the app is the same, the price raised from free to some value after a promo time period, say 3 months.
I know that it is possible with Apple AppStore, I also know it is not possible with Android Market (btw what about Amazon Android store?, but this is out of topic here)
Unfortunately I did not find related info about WP7/WP7.5 Marketplace.
Thx for answers
It is probably possible (at least it was) as I remember a bug where apps that converted from free to paid could not be updated by the end-user and that very same bug also existed with apps that have trial versions.
Edit: I'm pretty sure you can change from free to paid, but for the other way, your app needs certification again which means republishing it. MSDN especially states that special condition.
Yes, it's possible. With the one limit that users that have already "purchased" the application (for $0), won't be asked to pay for it when you change the price.
Not even if they re-install the app.
