Anyone can tell me about that link "http://maps.google.com" windows phone web-browser supported or not?
I m trying but unable to get that..
please anyone can help, i need that solution
Thanks...
No. Google renders a places-centric application for IE9, most likely due to the browser not supporting touch events.

I want to implement a scheduled reminder in a Food/Eating application created in Xamarin Forms (android & ios), that will be displayed at a precise hour on my phone.
Also I want, if it's possible (but I think somehow should be done...), the reminders to be displayed even if the application is not opened. I know that I have some applications installed on my phone, and even if they are closed, the reminders are still displayed.
Could you please help with this topic? I have done some research on the internet but I couldn't found anything that works...
Thank you in advance!
Regards!
you should use AlarmManager in android, please refer to alarm-manager-example.

Have you checked the Telerik Examples app in the store? I belive there is an example like the scenario you want.
You can download sample code provided by Codplex for windows phone-8 and see Expanderview it's very clear and easy to use.
I am developing a mobile webpage for windows phone 7.
Please suggest me any emulator/simulator to test the page which occupies less memory, i try to install windows official emulator with the windows phone SDK, since it needs more system space, i dropped that plan.
is there any other alternative way to test the webpage in windows phone-7 browser?
Thanks in Advance.
Test it on IE. If it works on IE it will work on mobile. For the mobile related specs you need to get hold of the emulator in the SDK or get a mobile phone device.
i hope this page will be useful for you

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview is now available. It is known that Silverlight will not run in metrostylemode, but with legacy/desktopmode it is working?
Anything unusual to keep in mind?
Are you able to access Silverlight applications?
(sorry for my bad english)
I have an medium sized SL5 LOB RIA Services app that runs OOB and it is working fine on windows 8 CP. The only thing that did not worked as I expected is that the on-screen keyboard do not show when I enter a text field. probably there is a way to p/invoke this but it would be nice if this happens by default.
I don't think there was anything new posted to that effect (but then the story was already explained in Dev Preview). It basically works the way you describe in Beta.
Apparently you can add a meta tag which causes the metro browser to prompt the user, but I have not yet tested.

is there any chance, that (after mango is released) the third-party WP7 application can retrieve list of already installed applications ?
Is there possibility to create an application which will take screenshot on background. For example screenshot of mobile main applications list every XY seconds/minutes. I´d like to parse installed applications from that screenshot if point 1 is not possible.
Thanks for your answers...
No, there is not
No, the only way to create WP7 screenshots is from the emulator or with special engineering devices that only MS has
