Joomla com_extplorer keep reloading page - joomla

I'm used to install extplorer in every joomla project, always everthing going well.
This time at the extplorer launch time its keep loading the web page in loop mode( tried to change permissions in administrator/components , triade to let Aruba install joomla) nothing worked.
Any suggestion ?

Do you have the Admintools extension installed and a custom .htaccess file?
If yes, open AdminTools and htaccess maker.
Under Server Protection>Exceptions>Allow direct access to these files
Add the following line:
administrator/components/com_extplorer/fetchscript.php
to the list of allowed files and regenerate your .htaccess.

Userfrosting installation issues

I did installation of Userfrosting as per the steps - no errors and all went well (using ubuntu 16 command line).
When i loaded the site in browser, page did came but no CSS applied. Browser console said - failed to load resource. I checked and found that “asset-raw” folder is not there under userfrosting/public (this is my webroot).
Also when clicked on sign-in, it does not work. DO let me know if i missed anything.
Thanks
Rahul
If you're using Apache, you need to make sure Mod_Rewrite is enabled. asset-raw is not a real directory, it's an alias managed by the app.
See: https://learn.userfrosting.com/troubleshooting/common-problems#installation-went-fine-except-i-don-t-see-any-styling-on-my-home-page-i-am-using-apache-

magento connect manager shows extension is installed but actually its not

I have installed an extension , On installing it magento shows its progress in terminal properly ...
But in actually it is not installed .
Neither the extension list includes its name.
For every extension the same problem exists .
please suggest me what may have gone wrong .
You have cleaned cache from system->cache management right? Also some extensions require you to logout and login in backend otherwise they give you 404 page.
Also try to look in system->configuration->advanced->disable module output. You can see all installed extension on your installation.
Edit: also try to see in app/etc/modules if there is an xml with extension's name, and if in app/code/local or app/code/community there is a folder with all files. If there are not any, maybe it's a problem with permissions.
Try to see section "Permissions not correct/insufficient" in http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/1_-_installation_and_configuration/installing_magento_via_shell_ssh

Fishpig's Magento WP Integration -- WP not using Magento Theme/Package

I've successfully installed Fishpig's Magento WordPress Integration extension. I followed the instructions where you install via Magento Connect and had no problems. This is by the way all on the development server which does not have Caching or Compiling enabled.
The Magento cart is installed in the webroot directory and WordPress is in subdirectory "wp" as stated in Fishpig's instructions. The Full Integration blog path is /blog.
PROBLEM:
When I visit the blog's page it is not using the Magento theme. I even set it to use the same layout (same as CMS's homepage) We have a custom Magento theme. Maybe there is something we are doing incorrectly Magento theme wise for Fishpig's extension not to work. Screenshots to come eventually but the host (DataGram) is down due to the flooding Downtown. Should be back hopefully today.
To clarify... WordPress is using its own database. In the Shop's admin panel->WordPress tab I setup Full Integration and set the path to "wp" and the blog path is blog.
So, now if I visit for example... example.com you are in the shop and if you visit example.com/blog you are in the fully integrated blog.
Bottom line is it seems to be configured fine in the admin panel. I am not requesting the blog page from the wp directory (I.E: example.com/wp) but from the fully integrated page (example.com/blog).
Our problem could be similar to what this person is experiencing:
Magento - FishPig Integration - Not getting correct template for /blog
Have a great weekend all!

Huzzah looks like I got things working :-)
The culprit was that this file:
"app/design/frontend/default/eboost/layout/wordpress.xml"
^^ was pointing to the wrong template filename. Corrected and was good to go. Modified line was number 66.
Funny thing is that on the top of that XML file it states:
"
Option 1 - local.xml (recommended)
Create a file named local.xml in your custom theme's layout folder. You can then make changes to the layout there by
using the relevant layout handle. This allows you to leave this file intact and recieve new features
when upgrading the extension.
Option 2 - copy this file
Copy this file and it's contents to a new file in your custom theme's layout folder named wordpress.xml.
Each time you upgrade, you will need to check with your copy of the file and
the copy in app/design/frontend/base/default/layout/wordpress.xml for changes and merge any you find"
Now, as stated in my Original Posting I installed FishPig extension using their instructions: http://fishpig.co.uk/wordpress-integration/docs/installation-and-configuration.html
^^ Therefore I don't know why it is setup using Option 2. That wordpress.xml is in our theme's layout directory.
.
.
.
I feel I should also state the other changes I did even though it doesn't seem like it contributed to making it work. Just doing for completeness:
-- Renamed the subdirectory /wp to /wordpress and changed all references to dev.eboost.com/wp to dev.eboost.com/wordpress within the DataBase using http://interconnectit.com/124/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
-- Removed .htaccess from /wordpress folder
So bottom line is looks like it is working normally. We are now set for working on redesign for site.

Have a look at this.

I also used Fishpig and it is working.
What do you mean by visiting the blog page? Do you request the blog page from the wordpress directory?
If so, it doesn't change its design.
You have to request the blog within your shop.

Problems uninstalling SEO Boss extension in Joomla 2.5

I have created a website named www.connectedipvoice.com and installed SEO Boss extension. Somehow it was not working so I tried to remove it using my administrator mode from my website but it shows a message:
JFolder: :delete: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/content/54/9492054/html/components/com_seoboss
Component Uninstall: Can't uninstall. Please remove manually
Then I tried to uninstall directly from server but it's not showing there too. My problem is when I try to install it again - it's showing me that the file is already installed and when I checked in the extension area >
manage catagory I found that SEO Boss extension is still there. But now I'm unable to get the options to remove it - the status column becomes blank!
To properly uninstall it (so you can install it again) you need to also remove the component reference inside the table called #__extensions
Search the element field for anything containing "com_seoboss" and delete it.
Then you should be able to install it again.
You should also look for this and delete it - /home/content/54/9492054/html/administrator/components/com_seoboss
I am not too sure what you mean by 'i tried to uninstall directly from the server'.
Anyway, I have had a similar issue to you when I was trying to uninstall virtuemart from a website. What worked for me was to:
manually delete all the component folders (using an FTP client like Filezilla )
manually delete all component tables from the database (using phpMyAdmin)
If you try this solution, make sure you backup your database first.
Hope this helps.

How to install Joomla Flash Templates Via Admin?

I Have tried Installing Joomla Flash Templates into my localhost by using admin interface.
But Everytime I get an error as "Template cannot be uploaded on server" due to some error.
Please help me what could be the reason behind this.
I am using Joomla 1.5
Cool ! use the manual way . I think you need to upload a site template
copy/FTP the files into
joomla_home_folder/templates/yourtheme\
if you need to automate it set the FTP settings in the file
configuration.php
