I need allow registered front end users to add, remove images to image gallery. i'm using SIGE - Simple Image Gallery Extended which can found in http://joomla-extensions.kubik-rubik.de/sige-simple-image-gallery-extended for my image gallery.
how could i allow registered front end users to add, remove images to image gallery.
Attempting to do this seeing as you are using a plugin, will take a long time, with a lot of trial and error. Will be 10 times easier to use a gallery component such as the ones shown below:
Phoca Gallery
JoomGallery

I have a question about wordpress Featured Image. When i need a Featured Image for a post of my wordpress site, i must upload the file to wordpress library and choose to make it display. The question i have today is that, is it possible to add a field in wordpress library that says insert from url to get file from a link that works for Featured Image? Why do i need this option? Because, i want only to add image to Featured Image for a post instead of adding the image to the content of a post, and there won't be full of files in my gallery. I noticed that, this option(insert from url) is only available when i'm adding images to post, but not available for Featured Image. Any solution for this?
I'm doing a site and i have the following issue:
I have to show a lot of products, and in each page for each product i have an slider, this slider must have diferent images for every product. The thing is, as i'm using an slider component/module for joomla 2.5, i need to duplicate it for every product (at least for the little i know of joomla).
There is no other way to chance the images for the slider automatically, without duplicaiting the module/component?
You can use plugins to create image sliders easily inside articles.Nice Slide Show is a paid extension that will serve your purpose.
The Simple Image Slider is a free plugin but couldn't find its 2.5 version.

Hope it helps
I'm new to wordpress and currently I'm building a website using it. But now I'm confused about why my post's image doesn't show up on the homepage's slideshow / featured post but it does show up in the post if I open that post. I'm using Weekly Theme right now, but if I change to another theme it will return the same result too ( images won't show up ). How to fix this? Is there any specific codes I need to add or what?
Thanks in advance!
It's a bit hard without being able to see what's going on. Do you have a link to the site? Or the place you got the theme from?
Is it just the image that won't show up in the slideshow/featured area? Or does the text not show up either?
- If it is just the image then you are probably not setting an image in the way the theme wants. Ensure the image is both "in" the article text and also set as the Featured Image using the box on the right-hand-side of the edit screen.
I want to share another user gallery picture in such a way that on the click of share the image should be stored in my image Gallery.adding to this i should also be provided with an option of in which gallery i want to store(add) this picture depending on the list of galleries i have in my profile.
I am Using Drupal.
How do i do this?
Sounds like you are looking for IMCE module: http://drupal.org/project/imce
I need to add a component into my Joomla articles.example(i have create a article in joomla ..in this article i needed added image gallery.. that gallery functions are in one joomla component..) how to create it?
There are a couple of ways to do this. First, the easiest is to get a plugin specifically designed to do this. I prefer Simple Image Gallery Pro. There is a free version as well http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/photo-gallery/1468. With this plugin, you simply upload your images to a folder for the gallery you wish to create, then reference that folder in the article you want the gallery to appear in with {gallery}myphotos{/gallery}
You can also replace the Joomla article with the extension K2. It has galleries within content items built in. It uses Simple Image Gallery and is written by the same developers.
Last, you can also use a plugin that allows you to load components within an article - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/2723/details.
EDIT
I forgot one. Last, last some of the good image gallery components also come with modules that allow you to display galleries in a module position. You would need to have a menu item or advance module manager in order to assign the module to the correct article, but it would give you a lot of flexibility in where you place the gallery.
