Why is 'web mvc install language' not available? - spring

I tried to add german language support to my ROO project by using the roo shell command
web mvc install language --code de
the the following messaged appeared.
Command 'web mvc install language --code de' was found but is not currently available (type 'help' then ENTER to learn about this command)
I understand that there's nothing wrong with the command but that there's some unsatisfied dependency or something. Please help, I've been looking the web but didn't find a clear answer. What prerequisites have to be met to get this to work?
thank you.

There are some commands you need to run first, have you run this one:
web mvc setup

Its not an answer. Just a little suggestion.
Roo does that, sometimes it says that the command was found, but not currently available (I got that while executing jpa setup command). It doesn't give necessary explanation.
In these cases,
you should look at your current roo focus. Check that you are indeed at the right place to execute the command.
Try cleaning the project by executing "perform clean".
Check the log.roo, see any previous command has failed.
In extreme cases(when your head is about to blow like mine ;)) copy the correct portion of the log.roo, then delete the project entirely and then execute the correct portion of the log.roo.
Hope that helps.

Fortify Exclusion File Location

Ok, so I'm trying to get exclusions to work with fortify scanning using maven. I've got everything working except for the exclusions. The documentation says to create a *.exclusions file and add com.fortify.sca.exclude="fileA;fileB;fileC" to the file. However, it does not say where to put the file. Do I put it in the maven directory? Or do I put it in the Fortify directory? Any help on this would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, my reputation isn't high enough yet for me to ask you what version of Fortify SCA you're using, so that I can try and better help you. But I'll try taking a stab with this.
I'm not sure about the *.exclusions file you're talking about, but perhaps you can add something on the command line when you call maven to build and scan your app using the "-Dfortify.sca.exclude" property option. See the example command below:
mvn com.fortify.sca.plugins.maven:sca-maven-plugin: <ver> :translate -Dfortify.sca.source.version=1.8 -Dfortify.sca.exclude="fileA;fileB;fileC;

How to get Processing to work on Cloud9 using Ruby language?

I am currently working on a personal project using the Ruby language in Cloud9 IDE. Recently, I came across an environment/programming language called Processing. My goals is to make Processing available for my use in Cloud9 IDE.
I am a complete novice and have no clue what I am doing. I followed directions from the following website: Directions for setting up Processing
I entered the following commands into Cloud9's terminal:
rvm install jruby
rvm use jruby
gem install ruby-processing
PROCESSING_ROOT: "/Applications/Processing.app/Contents/Java"
Entering in PROCESSING_ROOT: "/Applications/Processing.app/Contents/Java"
outputted message bash: PROCESSING_ROOT:: command not found
I wasn't too surprised by this, since the last entry probably needs information specific to my setup. Here are my questions:
1.) Are these directions correct for what I am trying to do? (get Processing to work in Cloud9 IDE). If they are not correct, can someone please point me to the correct directions, or give me directions?
2.) If these directions are correct, how can I successfully finish the last step? I tried running DrawRuby.rb, a simple program copied from the internet that supposedly made use of Processing. When I ran the code, the message "You need to set PROCESSING_ROOT in ~/.rpsrc" appeared. I am not sure if this piece of information is relevant or not, but I figured I would add it.
This is where I am at, and I am completely stuck. If someone could give me some help, I would be very grateful. Also, please make your explanation easy to understand. I am relatively new to the programming world, and may not necessarily understand terminology or how things should work.
Cheers!
*** Edit: I created a new workspace in Cloud9 IDE and tried Jed's suggestion. This is what happened:echo 'PROCESSING_ROOT: "/Applications/Processing.app/Contents/Java"' > ~/.rpsrc
:~/workspace $ rp5 run Draw.rb
WARNING: you need to set PROCESSING_ROOT in ~/.rp5rc

You need to add a file to your home directory (~/) called .rpsrc and then add that environmental setting (PROCESSING_ROOT) to your file. The following should work from the command line in your cloud9 environment:
echo 'PROCESSING_ROOT: "/Applications/Processing.app/Contents/Java"' > ~/.rpsrc
I know it might be a bit late for you but ruby-processing is now deprecated, and will only work with processing-2.2.1. For processing-3.3.7 use either JRubyArt or propane latter does not even require processing install.

What IDE to use to start contributing code for CKEditor?

It's my first question here on stackoverflow so please be easy on me.
I've been trying to set up the source for CKEditor so I can start contributing to this editor. I have followed this link: http://docs.ckeditor.com/#!/guide/dev_contributing_code but I got stuck on step 4 as I haven't got the following file: bender.js. I also need something called gruntfile for step 5. Do you know where I can get them from as when I fork https://github.com/ckeditor/ckeditor-dev, the following project does not come with them. Also, what IDE do I need to use to develop code? Sorry, for this question as it might seem a bit stupid but I come from the Java background and Node.js is really new to me, therefore I'm struggling a bit here.
Thanks for any help
There are no requirements regarding IDE, at the end it's all just text.
Regarding your problems: Make sure you're forking ckeditor-dev, and not ckeditor-releases repository. Only dev repository contains all the helpers like gruntfile.
The gruntfile is there so if you cloned CKEditor repository, you must have it.
Then all you need to do is follow up the instructions of CKEditor contribution guide closesly, and you're good to go!

Sublime Emmet doesn't expand conflict

(this is on a OSX latest 10.9.x)
Some of the shortcuts work with the tab, others not..
for example:
.class>ul>li*5>a
when tabbing gives
.class>ul>li*5>
while
div.class
gives correctly
<div class="class"></div>
Also html:5, input:radio expansion doesn't work (only on CTRL+E).
Should I look my key mappings? Could something from OSX be interfering? (I use OPTION+TAB to switch windows with the help of Karabiner...
Glad that helped.
Rather than looking at all plugins installed, you may want to first try entering sublime.log_commands(True) in the ST console. Then try inserting as normal. If it's another ST plugin performing an action, the command name will be listed. If you don't recognize the name of the command, you can use something like FindKeyConflicts to see what package it's associated with. The above is a plugin I wrote, but I'm sure there are other plugins that do the same thing. In most cases, the name of the command is enough to find the offending plugin.
Also adding your solution here to make it a bit more clear.
I found my answer there: https://github.com/sergeche/emmet-sublime/issues/363. Conflict with ST's autocomplete. Commented it out, and we're good. I guess now I'm missing some out of the box snippets but well.
If you would like to see the default snippets, without having to search/extract them manually, you can try using https://sublime.wbond.net/packages/PackageResourceViewer. Another plugin I wrote to help with viewing those packaged files/plugins.

Installing libqxt VS2010

Sorry if I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this sort of stuff, but thanks anyway.
Basically I've managed to install QT4.7 properly and it works and compiles stuff. (I'm using it conjunction with vs2010). However, I wanted to try something that requires libqxt. Unfortunately this seems to be the only installation guide out there. And I'm really not getting it. It mentions this little bit:
"configuration
Make sure qmake is in your PATH and run"
I think this is where I'm getting tripped up. Is this the qmake the same one I used for QT4.7? (If this is the case I shouldn't have to change anything right? It ought to look like this: "c:\Qt\4.7\bin". Which is added by going to >
Control Panel|System|Advanced|Environment variables menu. And which is already there from installing qt4.7)
Or is there a new qmake for libqxt somewhere? Am I understanding the term PATH incorrectly?
In any case right now clicking on configure.bat just echoes back "searching" and then closes before I can read what else it says. Would I be better off just opening a cmd prompt and cd'ing to the libqxt directory and running the configure file from there?
If anyone knows of an alternate install libqxt tutorial somewhere that'd probably helpful to me as well. Thanks to anyone who can take a minute to point me in the right direction.
