I my app, I have used JXL to parse XLS sheets.
Now as per the client requirement I need to provide support for XLSX (Excel 2007) format also.
But it seems that JXL has not published any version which supports XLSX(Excel 2007) format.
Can anyone suggest me any way of JXL which is compatible with XLSX format ?
OR Is it required to change the API OR I can process XLSX file with JXL ?
I visited JXL api and it seems that they are not providing support for xlsx format.
So I changed my api to Apche POI 3.9.
It has good functionality for xlsx/xls processing.
add following two jars then it will work :
xmlbeans and dom4j

We'are using Maatwebsite version 3.1.0 with Laravel version 6.x.
Excel files that are exported by this composer package are too slow to edit by Excel program than same files generated by copy/paste all datasets from exported excel.
The size of output file exported by Maatwebsite is rather smaller than the file generated by copy/paste but is very slow to edit(or scroll down, and other manipulations).
Even if we removed all custom styles and format, the problem is not solved.
Is there anyone who had the similar experience or know the way to recommend to solve theses kind of problem?
Thank you in advance.
We created a Jhipster web application, we have some data that we need to share through documents (invoices for eg.)
My question is, is there any reporting tool for Jhipster (works fine with jhipster apps) ?
Anything like Crystal reports or Infomaker.
Thank you
JasperReports is a good option to generate reports from Java/Spring applications. You can design the report using a visual editor (called Jaspersoft Studio), and then put the report file (.jrxml) in the classpath of your JHipster application (src/main/resources) and invoke the Jasper engine to fill the report by passing the data as a Java object or JSON string. Using the same report design file as an input, the library allows you to export to multiple output formats (PDF, HTML, Excel, etc).
For Spring versions 5.x I cannot find any epub or pdf version of the reference documentation. Former versions were available e.g. at https://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/4.3.9.RELEASE/spring-framework-reference/epub/. Are they available any more? epubs are perfect to be read with an ebook reader.
My guess is that it will get published in time.
Meanwhile - this is the 5.0.4.RELEASE docs in pdf:
https://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/current/spring-framework-reference/pdf/
which you can convert to epub if you wish to do so.
The only officially available and latest epub is the 5.0.0.M5: https://docs.spring.io/autorepo/docs/spring-framework/5.0.0.M5/spring-framework-reference/epub/
The epub for the latest version is not available.
but, I would recommend you to try to convert the html documentation directly to epub.
as converting pdf to epub does not result in very good result [as tools like calibre convert the pdf to html and then epub]
I tried a online converter to convert the https://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/current/spring-framework-reference/
and works pretty good.. [especially the code blocks seem better than the official epub]
hope you find this helpful.

Oracle has a tool called rwconverter.exe wich is installed among Developer Suite.
Please, verify the command line options for this tool in this link (10g):

Make sure you this is the proper version for you.
Say there's a QTP Function Library that contains many procedures. Each procedure contains documentation written in an XML node format that describes the purpose, return values and other information about the procedure.
Is there a way to parse these XML documentation that is embedded in the source code just like how it is possible to generate documentation based on XML documentation in .NET?
Microsoft's own XML parser should do the job. I've used it in a couple of projects. The SO posting MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0 Source? shows how to find out which version is installed on your machine. Microsoft, naturally, has a lot of documentation. You could probably start here.
