how to enable multiple monitors function of vmware workstation for mac os 10.8.3 - osx-mountain-lion

I have installed Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 in Windows 7 x64 by VMWare Workstation 9.
And I also have installed vmware tools sucessfully.
I tried to use Cycle Multiple Monitors's function, but vmware says like this. "Can not use Multiple Monitors - ... VMWare workstation does not support the multiple monitors feature in Mac OS X 10.8 64-bit guests. ... "
Can't I use multiple monitors in vmware with Mac OS X ?
Regards.

OSX Virtualization is only supported on Apple hardware platforms. As such, unless your running Windows on your Mac hardware, with Workstation installed inside of that, OSX virtualization isn't officially supported by VMware so there are no guarantees that all features of OSX will function properly.

Is it a viable option to develop in window through virtual box.
My system has ram of 16gb, intel i5 8th gen processor, quad core.

I have no idea about Speed, performance, lifetime. Please help me!
Yes you can install mac os for xcode (Create Native iOS Application) in windows by using virtual box.
Yes you can develope standard iOS application(beginning to end).
If you have no any other mac resource then it is ok for develop in window through virtual box. But i suggest use mac for better experiance and performance.

Check your memory allocation for your VMs, its looking for 8gigs, and you only have 5 gigs available for that vm. What I was able to do is to use bootcamp to boot to a windows os directly on the mac, and this will give you access to more memory in windows for your vm, but there is a bug where your virtualization in the MacOS will not automatically turn on, so you have to do it manually after you install bootcamp and windows 10. Then you need to make sure your hyper-V is installed in windows, so that requires windows 10 pro.
You can't use Hyper-V (on which the official HoloLens emulator works) from VirtualBox or VMware.
As an alternative, you might try Boot Camp.
You can use Boot Camp to install Windows 10 on supported Mac models that have OS X Yosemite or later installed.
These are the supported models.
MacBook Pro (2012 and later)
MacBook Air (2012 and later)
MacBook (2015 and later)
iMac Pro (2017)
iMac (2012 and later)
Mac mini (2012 and later)
Mac mini Server (Late 2012)
Mac Pro (Late 2013)
To do an install of Windows, you'll also need Windows 10 installation media.
Then, open Boot Camp Assistant from the Utilities folder (or use Spotlight to find it) and use it to install a new copy of Windows.
Here's a full instruction (and more details on this install) from Apple.
(I use Windows, so it just works for me)

OSX on Windows on an Apple Computer

I have a macbook pro apple computer, but I run windows (Bootcamp) with visual studio.
I want to trial Xamarin which need a host to a OSX OS to compile iOS apps.
I know I can open mavericks and run windows on a VM, but I want something that looks somehow strange because I couldn't find any guide to set up a osx os on windows (except for those trying to make it work on non-apple device)
How can I setup a VM or a build host for that matter to run on windows?
NOTE: this IS an apple computer and I can already double boot to osx.
Thanks.
I've heard of ways you can install Mac OS X on a VM, but that requires a lot of unofficial hacks. Also the OS X license states that it must run on Mac Hardware, so officially (also read as "easily"), you won't be able to run in on a VM from a Windows host.
However, since you stated that you already have a Macbook Pro with Windows installed via a Bootcamp partition, you can still use either VMWare Fusion or Parallels to launch your Windows Bootcamp Partition while you're still running in the Mac OS X environment.

Upgrade Max OSX 10.6.8 on VMWare

I installed a Mac 10.6.8 on VMWare sometime ago just to get a feel of OSX, I want to know what is the best way to upgrade my OSX 10.6.8 to upgrade to the latest version on VMWare
I am using VMware Work Station on Windows 7. The VMWare version is 10.0.1. Please help
I'm going to assume you mean, how to upgrade to the latest version of OS X, AKA "Yosemite" or OS X 10.10, right? You need to do this:
First, find out if your VMWare instance can run OS X Yosemite.
Back up your current installation.
Get OS X Yosemite from the Mac App
Store.
Double-click Install OS X Yosemite to begin installation.

My Mac app is crashing on OS X 10.7 (from tester reports). How can I test on 10.7 when my dev machines are 10.8?

I have a Mac app that I built on the latest Xcode on an OS X 10.8 machine. Some of our beta testers are getting crashes on 10.7. Here in the office we don't have any machines with 10.7 on them.
On iOS we have the simulator to test on iOS 5. How can I do this with the Mac? Do I need to purchase a machine with OS X 10.7 on it in order to test?
Thanks.
Looks like the latest version of VMWare Fusion does OS X virtualization. I'll give that a try.
