CodePilot for Xcode 5 - xcode

Is there any way to use CodePilot on Xcode 5? I'm trying to install but not appears on plugin section.
Anyone knows other similar software for Xcode 5?
Thanks!

CodePilot 2.x is only for XCode 4.x, its a requirement, it's indeed not listed in the plugins folder of XCode.app, I also tried by unpacking the archive from the package itself into the plugins folder, it doesn't load in XCode 5.
You could try emailing them regarding compatibility here: codepilot#macoscope.net

Xcode Workspace "Internal error: missingPackageDescriptionModule"

After updating Xcode to version 13.2 i can't build my project anymore. I have a strange error "Internal error: missingPackageDescriptionModule" related to my Workspace file.
It's definitely related to SPM because Xcode is not loading SPM packages also. I tried to "Reset package caches", "Resolve package caches" and also "Updating to latest package caches" but after all of these operating nothing happens. Deleting derived data, cleaning didn't help too...
I tried also to resolve packages from Terminal using xcodebuild -resolvePackageDependencies but I get error message:
--- xcodebuild: WARNING: The directory /Users/ptocicki/Developer/KFC/kfc-ios also contains the legacy project 'project.pbxproj' - ignoring it and using 'KFC.xcodeproj'.
xcodebuild: error: Could not resolve package dependencies:
Internal error: missingPackageDescriptionModule"
Apple is aware of the issue.
We're currently investigating this issue — thank you to those who have
filed bug reports so far. To workaround this issue, please re-download
Xcode 13.2 directly from the Downloads page.

🎊 Fixed on v13.2.1 and you can download from here
Explaination
This bug is reported and the v13.2.1 AppStore version but As  Apple suggest here, you should download the Xcode manually from the developer center
Manual download of any Apple developer software
✅ The always working and preferred workaround!
Download directly from Apple:
Latest Release version or
Latest Beta version or
Any version you need and all other downloadable contents
Then extract and move it where you like. This has so many benefits compared to AppStore updates. (like the ability to resume download, not replacing the old one, not wasting hidden directories and etc.)
Note that you should use safari to download it.

If you’re using Swift packages either standalone or as dependencies in an Xcode project or workspace, the Mac App Store version of Xcode fails during package resolution with the error “Internal error: missingPackageDescriptionModule.” (86435800)
Workaround: Download Xcode 13.2 directly from the Apple Developer website.
I just got the issues late at night after Xcode updated on its own while I was working on my project, which was not a cool surprise. It appears to be affecting all dependencies. You are not alone in this it's affecting everyone. I did what they recommended and downloaded Xcode directly from the Apples developer site and it fixed all my issues super happy right now!!!!!!!
XCode was updated to 13.2.1 at 12/19 which fix the issue.

Seems local package still working. So there is a temporary solution: We can download the dependencies then add them to the project as local paclages.
Please update to Xcode 13.2.1.
If not, download Xcode 13.2 from the Apple Developer website.
Updating from Xcode 13.2 to 13.2.1 from App Store fixed the issue for me.

SpeechToTextV1 - Missing required modules SSCZLib, SSCommonCrypto

I am working on XCode 9.1 project that uses IBM Watson swift-sdk SpeechToTextV1 package. After upgrading swift-sdk to the version 0.19.0 and building XCode project the compiler error has occured: Missing required modules: 'SSCZLib', 'SSCommonCrypto' pointing to the import SpeechToTextV1 statement. swift-sdk updated via Carthage.
Cartfile content: github "watson-developer-cloud/swift-sdk".
command line update: carthage update --platform ios --no-use-binaries.
How can I include SSCZLib and SSCommonCrypto modules into XCode project?
Please help. Thanks a lot.
Use carthage update --platform iOS --no-use-binaries. It takes a while, but it works.
I'm afraid that I haven't been able to replicate the problem on my machine. I started with a new, empty Xcode project and was able to transcribe audio with the Speech to Text service.
I uploaded my app here. Can you try downloading it, adding your Speech to Text credentials, and running the app?
Please make sure that the newly compiled frameworks are the ones being used. Carthage does not place the frameworks in a custom location that is referenced in the project or workspace.
For me - in addition to building the library using --no-use-binaries flag - I also had to ensure that under my target's
Build Phases->Embed Frameworks
Build Phases->Link Binary with Libraries
SpeechToTextV1.framework is included
In addition - I found that these two files made all the difference inside the Carthage folder:
Carthage/Checkouts/ios-sdk/Source/SupportingFiles/Dependencies/Starscream/zlib/include.h
Carthage/Checkouts/ios-sdk/Source/SupportingFiles/Dependencies/Starscream/zlib/module.modulemap
I could only get this to work after my project was directly referencing the Carthage folder. Deleting either of these two files caused the error to return.
The v0.21.0 release of the Watson Swift SDK fixes this issue. You should no longer have to add a link to the zlib folder in your project settings. However, you will need to copy Starscream.framework into your application in the same way that other frameworks are copied.
The solution was to externalize the Starscream dependency. Adding Starscream as a recursive dependency for the Swift SDK allows it to build independently with its own environment. When the Starscream library is copied into your application, it should automatically include the SSCZLib and SSCommonCrypto dependencies.
We test each SDK before it's release, but this problem slipped past us. Our test machine happens to have other software that adds SSCZLib and SSCommonCrypto to the path, making it available to the Xcode build. It wasn't until we refreshed the machine with a new macOS install that we were able to replicate the problem. And with v0.21.0, that problem has been solved.
Sorry for your trouble and thank you for your patience while we tracked down the solution!

Error in conversion to swift 3 syntax for an existing cocoapods integrated project

I've recently upgraded to xcode 8 and did a conversion for my xcode project. While every other swift files checks out fine, there seems to be issues with this particular swift file.
I suspect it could be a result of cocoapods not being updated and thus I did a repo update to the latest pre version before doing a pod install on the project again but still to no avail.
Hmmm ok I found a way to fix this, apparently just going to product>clean will solve most of the problems. This is for anyone out there converting to swift 3. Now on to solve some other problems...

How would you mavenize the Apache Flex SDK 4.13?

I read the manual available here https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLEX/Apache+Flex+SDK+Mavenizer. But it's confusing me. It's told that I should apply converter seprately to Flex SDK and Air SDK. But at present both of SDKs downloaded and merged by current Apache Flex Installer (should I download packages manually?). Also I don't have the flex-sdk-converter-1.0.jar. After build the mavenizer I have air-converter-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar, flex-converter-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar, base-converter-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar and flash-converter-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar.
How to use those tools to properly put Flex and Air SDK to the maven repositoy?
I also faced the same problem 2 months back.
The documentation on the website was for older version.
It has been updated on November 03rd.
Can you try again by following that?
This appears to be the current documented process now.

How to set up SDL on XCODE 4?

I'm having troubles with sample templates and overall installing of SDL on my Xcode 4.
There are no tutorials and old templates just don't work!
If anybody has Xcode 4 SDL templates, please share.
EDIT:
#Joshua Nozzi I tried opening template from old version of XCODE, 3.2 and it opened, but there were no files in the project and it said - base sdk missing. I tried adding SDL.framework but it didn't help!
I just pushed my working SDL test Xcode project as a public Github repository, so feel free to see if it works for you: https://github.com/Ricket/HelloSDL
