How can I load an object file with a scene in OpenSceneGraph using Visual Studio? - visual-studio

I am new in osg. I have installed VisualStudio with all the plugins for OSG. I have alreay tried some examples.
Now I want to download a scene and navigate inside it.
Can anyone help me???
Thnx a lot!!!

Look at the source code to the examples. They almost all load a model from the commandline argument, or from a fixed filename (look for osgDB::readNodeFile()) and set up a Viewer with a Manipulator to navigate around the scene.
Also, questions like this are much better suited for the osg users mailing list.

If you've downloaded the prebuilts, you just need to run osgviewer, or in Windows drag your model onto %OSG_ROOT%\bin\osgviewer.exe, and you should be able to use the mouse to manipulate the model. Hit "h" in the osgviewer window to see the help screen, which shows you how to switch modes, etc.

Unbind/unsynchronized scrolling in source control compare function

In compare option inside the source control, the scrolling is bind together for both files.
I want to scroll just one of the sides while the other stay pinned also I want to avoid comparing outside on the VS.
I can't find any solution online and there is no obvious option in the VS.
I'm Using VS2015 with TFS.
Thank you.
EDIT
New feature request for microsoft was opened
Feature request
EDIT
In VS1029 Version 16.11.3 feature exist, by pressing it you can unbind the windows
In compare option inside the source control, the scrolling is bind
together for both files.
For this , I am afraid this is by designed. The same is true for my test in visual studio2019.

PowerPoint - how to run a macro automatically?

I'd like to run a macro that sets the zoom to 100%, something like Windows(1).View.Zoom = 100, every time ANY file is opened in PowerPoint. The files are already created, so using a template to set the zoom is not possible. How can I do this?
There isn't really a way (that I am aware of) to do this through a macro or powerpoint add-in. You might be able to do it using a custom web add-in but I don't have enough experience with that to provide an example.
After looking around there have been a few success stories. One of which is creating a custom UI element and then adding an onLoad hook to that.
Here is the thread.
Here is a link to the Custom UI Editor Tool However I had no luck in getting it to work. I believe (This is only my theory) that it is not compatible with the latest .NET framework.
If you do end up trying to do this, here is a link to the xml formatting documentation for UI elements. And a link to a little tutorial related to this.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. This should at least get you started. If anyone else has a simpler way I would love to know as well.

How to deal with buttons with Physic2D and Images (PNG)?

I want to know how to create button with my Images(PNG).
I'm not gonna use the GUIButton because of creating the default button image.
I copied the images in my Unity Project and changed to sprite(2D and UI). Then, create the sprites simply by dragging. I also added the script which includes 'onTouchDown() and onMouseDown'. However, it didn't work so I tired again with layermask but it didn't work as well with no error code. Maybe the physic2D is the reason.
How can i make button with simple image. Could you guys help me to do so?
Please let me know does anyone have idea. Thank you.
Why don't you use a button from the new UI system?
Sorry guys. I didn't recognize that i typed 'OnMouseDown' to 'onMouseDown'. I didn't used capital letter. It's really annoying thing.

How to add GtkMozEmbed browser into a tab with Ruby/Glade/GtK?

I am trying to add a browser using GtkMozEmbed into a gui I am designing using Glade. I want the browser to take up a tab in a notebook widget, but I cannot figure out how to actually do this. I am wondering what container to use to put the browser in, and the associated ruby code to actually embed the browser in this container. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
What I ended up doing eventually was to insert a window element into the tab, and in the ruby code associated with the glade file configure the GTKMozEmbed there. I do not think it is possible to get it setup using the Glade GUI, so you will have to get down into the code for this.
To add a new tab with any widget use this.

Ajax Image gallery / Open, Close Window Effect

Can anyone point me in the direction of such a script? It should also be able to work when called into another ajax window. This is the type of gallery i am going for:
http://dageniusmarketer.com/DigitalWonderland/pages/DemoGalleryExample.html
It should go on this page:
dageniusmarketer.com/DigitalWonderland/
Portfolio section.
This script should be real simple to use with minimal extra files to make it work. I also should be able to just drop images in a gallery folder and it populates the gallery automatically with thumbnails....I shouldnt have to write code for each image in my html. Should be all dynamic.
I also would like to know how I could go about a window effect where every time I open up a new section via my navigation, the window shrinks closed with the old content, then expands open with the new content. the window effect should be vertical (top to bottom shrink into center, expand from center top to bottom)
Please Let me know. Thanks
JQuery is one of my personal favorite javascript libraries (along with 99% of this site apparently!)
But it will have a learning curve, as your requirements seem pretty specific, and you will have to read some documentation to pull it off.
Try Spry from Adobe. They have a very similar demo. Also, the other common frameworks for this would be prototype/scriptaculous, dojo, mootools, jquery. In many cases they have extensions that would provide the exact thing you are looking for. For example, try
shadowbox extension which is framework agnostic. Best of luck!
Imago looks promising:

Just discovered the very awesome-looking jQuery Tools library today. Meets your "simple and minimal" requirements and could probably pull off what you've sketched, with just the "tooltips" and "scrollable" components.
I also should be able to just drop images in a gallery folder and it populates the gallery automatically with thumbnails
My instinct is that you'd be better off writing server-side code to handle this part of your requirement.
