What all jars are required for Spring + jersey - spring

I am wondering what all jars do I require to make Spring + Jersey work.
right now I had put the following jars in my buldpath.
Jersey-server-1.18
Spring 4.0.6
But my application does not seem to be working. what shall I use instead to make it work.

If you want to use Jersey Spring DI support you will need to add the jersey-spring3 module. This is configuration and corresponding jars from my test project. Few of them may be optional.

Which version of spring security is compatible with org.springframework

After a migration from spring 4.3.9 to 5.3.22 / spring security from 4.2.3.RELEASE to 5.3.9.RELEASE, I have this error:
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanExpressionException: Expression
parsing failed; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
org.springframework.expression.spel.support.StandardTypeConverter.<init>(Ljava/util/function/Supplier;)V
at
org.springframework.context.expression.StandardBeanExpressionResolver.evaluate(StandardBeanExpressionResolver.java:170)
I think is related to spring-expression version, because there is a conflict:
I ask which version of spring security I should have with spring framework 5.3.22?

To answer your initial question you should be using Spring Security 5.5 or higher as that supports Spring 5.3 (it is build against it). Using anything lower might work but YMMV.
To answer your additional question in the comment based upon my take on your dependency management. You should be using the Spring Framework BOM to manage your dependencies (Spring Security has one as well). See also this blog which explains the usage and benefits of a bom (and what is solves).
In your case it would drastically improve your dependency management.
<dependencyManagement>

Something like this. Maven will now automatically use the version information from the bom to manage the versions. You don't need to include the version anymore and any transitive version will be managed as well. That saves you a lot of excludes. I took the liberty to add them for Spring, Spring Security, JUnit and Mockito. However I also believe there is one for JAXB and CXF as well.

Spring Security with Spring 4

I recently updated my Spring project to Spring 4. After upgrading I am not able to successfully update the Maven project since Spring Security jars are not matching with Spring 4 jars.
Here is dependencies in the POM file.
<spring.version>3.2.3.RELEASE</spring.version>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-security-config</artifactId>
<version>${spring.version}</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-security-core</artifactId>
<version>${spring.version}</version>
<type>jar</type>
<scope>compile</scope>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<artifactId>spring-core</artifactId>

<artifactId>spring-context</artifactId>

<artifactId>aspectjweaver</artifactId>

<version>${spring.version}</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-security-web</artifactId>
<version>${spring.version}</version>
</dependency>
It is showing missing artifacts on compilation.Please suggest which jars need to be used. Any help will be truly appreciable.

If I remove the jersey-spring artifact then my unit tests for the repository fields passes without any exceptions. However, when I start up my server jetty complains that it can't find:

Is the jersey-spring dependency compatible with my version of spring?
Jersey has an older version of Spring AOP so I excluded the dependency and the issues were resolved.

Integrate spring with hibernate using maven dependencies

I had made a project using Spring & Hibernate with maven as tool organiser.
Sometimes back it seems that the following version of hibernate was stopped/removed/something from all the repositories
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate-annotations</artifactId>
<version>3.3.0.ga</version>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<groupId>cglib</groupId>
<artifactId>cglib</artifactId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate-commons-annotations
</artifactId>
<version>3.3.0.ga</version>
</dependency>
So, I switched to following versions to resolve all the compilation related issues etc:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate-annotations</artifactId>
<!--version>3.3.0.ga</version-->
<version>3.5.6-Final</version>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<groupId>cglib</groupId>
<artifactId>cglib</artifactId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate-commons-annotations
</artifactId>
<version>3.3.0.ga</version>
<!--version>3.5.6-Final</version-->
</dependency>
Though al the compilation related issues got resolved, I am facing lot of problems trying to deploy the war file created using these hibernate versions and spring dependencies (though the war is getting generated successfully, while deployment Spring & hibernate are giving some errors).
Basically, I want to use the latest version of Spring & Hibernate and create a web application war file.
I would really appreciate if some one can list the set of spring & hibernate maven dependencies which are successfully available in all repositories along with the list of repositories to create a successful web application, preferably if you have successfully deployed and used that war.
These are the spring related dependencies and other dependencies I have used in my application:

Other technologies I am using :
EhCache, Solr, MySQL
The old setup used to work fantastically in my first computer but when I switched to new system (computer), all of a sudden lot of hibernate dependencies etc went missing and I did lot of trial & error resolving various dependencies for Spring & Hibernate.
I would really appreciate if some one can give me a sober solution so hat I can get my webapp back to working mode
I was working on some maven 2 version, but if I have to switch to maven 3 etc, I am ready for that too. I just need a solution which works end to end without the need to disturb my code.
An example with spring, hibernate, mysql, junit and jsp-oriented web application.

Maven 3.0.2 - WAR File is duplicating dependant JARS in two places

When I run: "mvn package -skipTests" from the command line to create my WAR file, Maven copies my dependent jars into WEB-INF/lib, and then copies them again into the root of the WAR. So I end up with the same files in two different places. I've stripped my pom.xml down to the bare essentials, but the duplicates still occur.
