Spring mvc and spring security version conflict - spring

Anybody knows if spring mvc version 4.1.3.RELEASE is working with spring security version 4.0.0.RC1?
I'm using java configuration with no xml at all(not even web.xml).
I can't get it working? Any help is welcome.
Thanks

According to spring docs so: Spring Security builds against Spring Framework 4.1.3.RELEASE.
And to get it work, your pom.xml should be like this one:

xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

A new JSP project was created ,after the start of the tomcat, the browser only displays the source code.
Initially, the jsp file and associated java classes were built and tested fine on a test Tomcat server. Now, they've been transitioned to another server of what I believe is the same setup (except it's linux now instead of windows). But when the jsp page is accessed the source code is displayed instead of the jsp actually executing. I've googled for a while but received no success.

How to share spring MVC project from 'Spring Tool Suite' executable without code?

I have created a maven based spring project and successfully completed it and now this project can run on browser with localhost:8080 server i want to share my project with other and i don't want to make the code is visible or he get only executable form of project so how does it possible ?
I can share my database to that person (mysql)
And spring project with executable form (without code part)
I have created this project as
Maven Project
and then added some dependencies

When you compile the spring-boot project it will create a jar in build folder(if that is not the case then need to tweak config to create a jar file).
You can share that jar, other person can execute that jar using simple java command.
java -jar spring-project-name.jar

how to create a web project with jersey2.25 , spring 4 ,mybatis3.1.1

i am trying to create a web project with jersey2.25 , spring 4 ,mybatis3.1.1 and tomcat.
i have to use jdk1.7 , the following are all jar file in my web project lib.
with that jar file, i can not start my tomcat.
so someone can help to create a pom.xml file , so that i can build my web project with maven ?
you can use Eclipse neon for project development, first you need to create maven ptoject and add dependencies into pom.xml, you can refer below sample code.
http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">

in this pom you can get the Spring Framework with hibernate and JPA. for more you can refer below link
http://www.mkyong.com/maven/how-to-create-a-java-project-with-maven/
You can use online application called Spring Initializr that can generate a Spring Boot project
structure for you. It doesn’t generate any application code, but it will give you a basic project
structure.
Just Visit: start.spring.io
Specify the Build Tool (Maven or Gradle), language, Spring Boot Version, project Metadata and the dependencies and download the project. You'll also find the generated pom.xml in the downloaded file.

Configuring Jetty with Spring MVC

I am having trouble configuring Jetty to run with Spring MVC, which is getting a bit frustrating.
Overall the configuration works, since if I run it with tomcat works fine. As soon as I try to add jetty and configure the build, it blows up and gives me the following error
22:21:58.663 [main] ERROR o.s.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet - Context initialization failed
The cause of this error seems to be related to
Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: class path resource [persistence.properties] cannot be opened because it does not exist
[WARNING] unavailable
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Failed to parse configuration class [com.helloworld.config.WebConfig]; nested exception is java.io.FileNotFoundExcepti
on: class path resource [persistence.properties] cannot be opened because it does not exist
But how is this a problem? It works file when I use Tomcat, and there is no issues with classpaths, and locating my files.
Here is my pom.xml

Configuring pom.xml to work with tomee

Well, i'm starting now with tomee, my pom.xml was configured to use with tomcat. So, i don't have sure what i have to remove or add to work with tomee with the followings technologies: JPA, CDI, EJB, HIBERNATE.
I configured my pom.xml in this way:

But i got some errors, see:
when start server i got error:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jboss.weld.environment.servlet.Listener
What is the exactly libs i have to add in pom.xml to use tomee and what scope ?
If you are developing a Vanilla JavaEE application, you do not need this dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.openejb</groupId>
<artifactId>openejb-core</artifactId>
<version>4.7.4</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
Why is that? Because TomEE implements the JavaEE standard without anything else. If you are tying your application to TomEE you're not using it correctly!
Next, you didn't say what version of TomEE you are using, but these dependencies are suspect:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.sun.faces</groupId>
<artifactId>jsf-api</artifactId>
<version>2.2.12</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.sun.faces</groupId>
<artifactId>jsf-impl</artifactId>
<version>2.2.12</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>jstl</artifactId>
<version>1.2</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.servlet-api</artifactId>
<version>3.1.0</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
TomEE 1.7.4 is JavaEE6 compatible, so JSF 2.2 won't work, unless you replace the MyFaces 2.1 jars in the lib directory with the latest MyFaces 2.2 jars. You ARE correct in using them as provided dependencies, so don't change that. The other option is to use TomEE 7, which hasn't been released, but provides JavaEE 7 compatibility.
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.annotation</groupId>
<artifactId>jsr250-api</artifactId>
<version>1.0</version>
</dependency>
^ This should be removed completely. The vanilla JavaEE jar provides those interfaces.
Ok, so at a minimum you'll have to fix these issues before you can continue. Once you do that, report back in another question any further issues if you have them. Good luck!
