Configuring pom.xml to work with tomee - maven

Well, i'm starting now with tomee, my pom.xml was configured to use with tomcat. So, i don't have sure what i have to remove or add to work with tomee with the followings technologies: JPA, CDI, EJB, HIBERNATE.
I configured my pom.xml in this way:

But i got some errors, see:
when start server i got error:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jboss.weld.environment.servlet.Listener
What is the exactly libs i have to add in pom.xml to use tomee and what scope ?

If you are developing a Vanilla JavaEE application, you do not need this dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.openejb</groupId>
<artifactId>openejb-core</artifactId>
<version>4.7.4</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
Why is that? Because TomEE implements the JavaEE standard without anything else. If you are tying your application to TomEE you're not using it correctly!
Next, you didn't say what version of TomEE you are using, but these dependencies are suspect:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.sun.faces</groupId>
<artifactId>jsf-api</artifactId>
<version>2.2.12</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.sun.faces</groupId>
<artifactId>jsf-impl</artifactId>
<version>2.2.12</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>jstl</artifactId>
<version>1.2</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.servlet-api</artifactId>
<version>3.1.0</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
TomEE 1.7.4 is JavaEE6 compatible, so JSF 2.2 won't work, unless you replace the MyFaces 2.1 jars in the lib directory with the latest MyFaces 2.2 jars. You ARE correct in using them as provided dependencies, so don't change that. The other option is to use TomEE 7, which hasn't been released, but provides JavaEE 7 compatibility.
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.annotation</groupId>
<artifactId>jsr250-api</artifactId>
<version>1.0</version>
</dependency>
^ This should be removed completely. The vanilla JavaEE jar provides those interfaces.
Ok, so at a minimum you'll have to fix these issues before you can continue. Once you do that, report back in another question any further issues if you have them. Good luck!

How to share spring MVC project from 'Spring Tool Suite' executable without code?

I have created a maven based spring project and successfully completed it and now this project can run on browser with localhost:8080 server i want to share my project with other and i don't want to make the code is visible or he get only executable form of project so how does it possible ?

When you compile the spring-boot project it will create a jar in build folder(if that is not the case then need to tweak config to create a jar file).
You can share that jar, other person can execute that jar using simple java command.
java -jar spring-project-name.jar

So, i have a WAR when i use this jar as a dependency. I checked in target/mywar/WEB-INF/lib/myjar-2.0.jar and all classes are there but when i try to start TOMCAT i get: ClassNotFoundException in classes of my jar.

Configuring Jetty with Spring MVC

I am having trouble configuring Jetty to run with Spring MVC, which is getting a bit frustrating.
Overall the configuration works, since if I run it with tomcat works fine. As soon as I try to add jetty and configure the build, it blows up and gives me the following error
22:21:58.663 [main] ERROR o.s.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet - Context initialization failed
The cause of this error seems to be related to
Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: class path resource [persistence.properties] cannot be opened because it does not exist
[WARNING] unavailable
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Failed to parse configuration class [com.helloworld.config.WebConfig]; nested exception is java.io.FileNotFoundExcepti
on: class path resource [persistence.properties] cannot be opened because it does not exist
But how is this a problem? It works file when I use Tomcat, and there is no issues with classpaths, and locating my files.

I think the issue is within pom and how it's set up?

Wildfly 8.0.0 fails to deploy new project when old project worked

I created a sample application and maven deploys just fine to a local Wildfly 8.0.0 server (by using the command mvn wildfly:deploy). I then created a very similar project with only slight modifications to the classes (changing package names, and adding some SSL implementation), but keeping the pom essentially the same (the only changes I made were to the group and artifact IDs). When I try to deploy this new application, I get the following exception:
13:23:53,309 ERROR [org.jboss.msc.service.fail] (MSC service thread 1-8) MSC000001: Failed to start service jboss.deployment.unit."smartgrid-secure-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.war".WeldStartService: org.jboss.msc.service.StartException in service jboss.deployment.unit."smartgrid-secure-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.war".WeldStartService: Failed to start service

I am also seeing a lot of missing dependency errors. I am a noobie to Maven and Wildfly, but I was under the impression that the pom defines all the needed dependencies. If the original project worked, and the poms are nearly identical, shouldn't Maven have no problems deploying my new project?
Here's the pom for the new project:

Any help would be appreciated, since I have been smashing my head against the wall for some time now.
It turns out that the POM was adding a whole bunch of stuff that I thought I needed, but in actuality didn't. I got rid of everything except the javax.mail, org.jboss.logging, de.micromata.jak, and com.datastax.*dependencies. I then added a needed (for some reason I don't know) dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.guava</groupId>
<artifactId>guava</artifactId>
<version>17.0</version>
</dependency>
and then everything was cool.

Spring Security java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError. Maven Dependency Management issue

Hi I searched this forum for getting the solution of the above problem and some one quoted that using maven's dependency management this kind of issue be rectified. But I generally do not much aware of spring dependency issues so I am posting this problem here.
