How can override the view files of the componenet in joomla - view

I using the ARI Quiz lite for online quiz. i need to orverride view of quiz listing, but i dont know how to do this. I tried to override listing file
/components/com_ariquizlite/view/quiz_list.html.php
to
/templates/rhuk_milkyway/html/com_ariquizlite/view/quiz_list.html.php
but it's not working. please help me. thx adv....

Try dropping the /view/ from your second file path - it shouldn't be needed.
There's more guidance here: https://docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides but in Joomla 3 you can do this in the back-end, guessing using Milkyway you're still on 1.5 though :(

404 error after removing id from url in joomla

Hello i need some help to solve a problem.
I have a joomla site 3.3.3 version and i removed the id's from url according to this.[https://joomla.stackexchange.com/questions/988/remove-article-id-from-joomla-3-url][1]
Everything works ok.When i created an Articles-Newsflash (advanced) module and assign articles to it,by clicking the link title it give's me 404 error page.
When i go to the admin area and turn Sef Advanced Mode to no everything works!
I can't figure out what i'm missing.
Thank's in advance for any help!!
P.S.Its a multilingual site.
This happens when you have articles with the same aliases, even trashed articles. Check your trash for deleted articles and completely trash them.
By the way, we created an exhaustive guide, and it is available here: http://www.itoctopus.com/how-to-remove-the-article-id-from-joomlas-sef-urls
There is also a way, described in the guide, of doing this whole thing without modifying a core file.

Joomla 1.7 - can't find Meta Titles

we moved a site for a client a while back that someone else created. Its running on Joomla 1.7.
We want to do some light SEO work for them but I can't for the life of me find the Meta/SEO title field anywhere.
All the support posts I've looked at say its here or there but for me its not. It seems to be know where! In the meta options section when editing an artcile there is a description and keyword field but no title.
Some help would be appreciated. This client can't justify a new website.
Thanks!
Update:
we ended up upgrading this install to 2.5, still couldn't edit the meta titles anywhere. So I installed a plugin which gave me the title field but it had no effect! Can only assume the theme hasn't been put together properly. The conclusion is that its now quicker for us to just move them to WordPress where stuff works properly! :)
I'm working more with Wordpress than Joomla, but I think that you should download an extension if you want to have a meta-title in the pages. For the home page you can change it from Menu - Main menu - Home.

Magento Enterprise main content page?

We are using Magento Enterprise ver. 1.13.0.2 and i can't find where i have to go to edit the content of the main page? Is it accessible through the Magento dashboard interface?
I have looked through the "CMS -> Pages -> Managed Content". But i could not find it in there.
Nor is it inside of the "CMS -> Static Blocks" page.
Or in any of the System Configuration options.
So i'm thinking i'm going to have to actually edit some code, but i don't know which file that might be.
I really don't know alot about the Magento Enterprise system, so any help would be awesome!
If anyone could help out or point me to documentation on where to find the main content page that would be great! thanks! :)
*edit: by change content i mean i would like to move some things around get rid of a few things and add a new thing or two.
CMS->Pages->UrlKey: home
Have fun!

Has anybody used MVCWizard.Wizard with MVC3?

I'm looking to do a multistep webpage with around 5 steps, at least one of which will require a partial view with a grid and filtering.
I've downloaded the MVCWizard from NuGet, and set up my views, however I can find no example code for the controller.
Has anyone used this control? Do you have a sample controller I could see?
Alternatively, is there another wizard control which would do this?
Many Thanks
John
Sorry. maybe too late for the answers, but I found it now!!! It can help anyone too, so in the nuget page of MVCWizard you can find the example.
