Please Help. Have been stuck for days.
I've been trying to connect to Magento Admin. The website itself is working fine. I've tried logging in and each time I'd get this message:
Network Error (tcp_error)
A communication error occurred: "Operation timed out"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.
For assistance, contact your network support team.
I've tried the following:
Deleted all the files inside /var/cache folder.
Sudo reboot
I read that I need to also delete maintenance.flag file in my root folder. I can't find this file anywhere.
Please help.
Thanks a bunch!!

I have been using WAMP for awhile now to create a database, and everything has been working fine. However, I am now helping with a new project and have been sent a new folder for this project. I placed it in my www folder within WAMP, and when I opened localhost/project_name I was prompted for a username and password. I did not know (and still do not) the username and password, so I tried a guess and now I get the following error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at wampserver#wampserver.invalid to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache/2.4.46 (Win64) PHP/7.3.21 Server at localhost Port 80
I have tried searching online and every solution focuses on the mod_rewrite line in the httpd.config file. However, I have already uncommented that line and WAMP continues to work for my original project. I have tried resetting WAMP and loading the new project, but I am never prompted for a username and password and only the above error appears. How can I fix this to be able to try a different username and password?
Hi this may sound silly but honestly it should be a simple fix but can't figure out why this isn't working.
I have just setup an FTP account on Serv-U application and on testing, I am getting the following error:
**530 ftp is not allowed for this user account**
No logs anywhere, reset account password - same issue, my IP is allowed still same issue. Anyone come across this before?
OK silly me :), I managed to fix the problem. Basically if you using Serv-U as your FTP/FTPS/SFTP 3rd party application, then you run into this issue in future, go through the following steps to fix the problem:
- Open the properties of the affected account
- Click on Limits & Settings tab
- Locate the section 'Allow FTP and FTPS connections' and ensure the value is set to 'Yes'
There you are, issue fixed. Sorry for taking your time, i should have known this.
I was doing a complete redesign of a website for a client and everything was going fine until I went to ftp it. The login and password that he gave me works fine, but when I try to upload the files an error message pops up saying:
An FTP error occurred - cannot create new folder. Access denied. The file may not exist or there could be a permission problem. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured.
I can see the files that are already on the server, so I know I'm connected fine, but how do I get this website online? Do I contact the previous coder of the website to make the files writable? Or is the problem elsewhere?
Any help would be appreciated!
A hosting service may require you to place all files to /www for example and deny access to anything else. You may try to reset user rights via that webhost's web interface. If the service allows for some ssh access, you can try using that to see where your problem is. If SFTP works, even better, you can use just that instead.
I have installed magento-1.6.2.0 on my system. I have also installed some free Magento themes from Magento Connect. After some time suddenly I get following error:
"Service Temporarily Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
And from that event my Magento is stoped working. even it is not redirecting to other pages. So, anybody has the solution for above problem, please reply.
delete maintenance.flag file form your installation root.
So I've just Install Site Studio Designer and I want to connect to the web site.
I enter my Server Cgi URL (https://myservername:port/cs/idcplg).
When I click connect I got a Error :
Failed to connect to Content Server "https://myservername/cs/idcplg" (Unable to open connection).
So I wonder wants wrong with my URL.The error log doesn't say much. And I don't think it'a a security issue. Do I miswritten it or do I suppose to put somthing else in the URL? Every docs and forums I've visted says it's the correct way. Could it be a network configuration issue.
Thanx
