ckeditor widget firefox bug - firefox

I think there's a bug on widget on firefox (version 39 on both OSX and Windows). http://ckeditor.com/demo#widgets
When clicking on part of the widget to edit, the cursor is always at the beginning instead of where you click. Cannot move left and right at all. Cursor up would go to the beginning and down would to to the end of the line
Any CKEditor developers can shed any light on this?

You are correct. This issue is caused by a contenteditable bug in Firefox 39. Update your Firefox to 40+ in order to resolve the issue. This is not an issue specific to CKEditor.

iOS 15 safari toolbar now hides when scrolling within an element

On iOS 15 scrolling within an element causes the window to resize / toolbar to disappear, regardless of if you have the top or bottom toolbar. On iOS 14 this would only happen when the body scrolled. See gifs below, note - the yellow area is a div with overflow scroll and the body is not scrolling.

Code example here:

Is this new behaviour intended or a bug? Is there any way to disable it as it makes quite a few websites look a little strange now!
I solved this problem for my case. Perhaps it will help you too.
body-scroll-lock library https://github.com/willmcpo/body-scroll-lock
Video examples of work
Before using the library (pain): https://truewebstories.ru/sites/default/files/0my_files/blog/2022/scroll-safari-15/before.MP4
After: https://truewebstories.ru/sites/default/files/0my_files/blog/2022/scroll-safari-15/after.MP4
I block everything except the "burger menu" (side menu) from scrolling after that menu is opened. When the menu is closed, all scroll locks are released.
Thanks willmcpo https://github.com/willmcpo and google translate...
PS: Read this issue https://github.com/willmcpo/body-scroll-lock/issues/236 It says that if you install the library through NPM, the problem will not be solved. You need to download it from GitHub - then it will be OK.

Cannot scroll in Firefox DevTools' Style Editor using scrollbar thumb

I have just started using the Firefox Developer Tools. When I am in the Style Editor, I can't seem to grab the scrollbar thumb to scroll through my style sheets. I assume I'm missing something but can't find what. I have restarted the developer tools, and restarted Firefox, but that didn't help.
My cursor stays as if it is selecting text, even when I hover over the tiny scrollbar thumb, thus it doesn't let me grab the it. Obviously this is important as style sheets can have many lines!
I am using Firefox 50.1.0 currently.
This is a known bug filed as bug 1265807 .
A workaround for this is to switch to the Firebug theme, which uses the OS default scrollbars:

Bootstrap images not aligning properly in Explorer, Firefox

My Boostrap framework is working fine on Chrome and Safari. It also is mostly on Explorer and Firefox. However, in Explorer and Firefox, a couple of images on interior pages appear to have an offset applied. The issue will be apparent when viewing the pages:
notagamebook.com/the-author-2
notagamebook.com/excerpts
I have been unable to find anyone else who has encountered the same issue. And I realize a manual fix won't be all that difficult, but I would like to keep the images in the framework and figure out what is happening in case it occurs again in the future.
EDIT
After attempting to fix this issue manually, I have realized it is NOT a Bootstrap issue. Firefox and Explorer are pushing the first piece of content following the page label to the right. It did so even when coding outside of the Bootstrap framework. I tried putting a piece of text as the first item and got the same result.
I've found the solution to this problem: There was a difference in the bottom margin being applied to the title in Explorer and Firefox, pushing the content to the right of the title div.

joomla modal popup does not closing properly in IE

joomla modal popup plugin does not closing properly in IE, but In FF browser, plugin is awesome.
when i click the close button. looks its closing. but actually it is not closing. that light box is displaying browser below with just blank. please find the attached screen shot fyr.
Note: in the attached screen shot popup will coming down(footer area) after user clicked the close icon in the light box.
echo '<td><a class="modal" href="modules/mod_popupdetails/showdetails_popup.php?qs='.$row->$somthing.'" rel="{handler: \'iframe\', size: {x:1040 , y: 500}}" >Table</a></td>';
Well, as your comment states, if turning off compatibility mode fixes it - then your issue lies in compatibility with older versions of IE. You can either try to find a workaround for that - or just design for newer versions. There really are very few people who use older versions of IE anymore - so I would recommend perhaps checking their browser version and asking them to upgrade, instead of trying to find some ugly hack/workaround for those few people. May not be 'best practice', but it works.

jQuery Marquee - Resets after four entries in Firefox

Good evening everyone.
I am puzzling over the oddity that the jQuery Marquee plugin, which was working fine, suddenly resets itself after showing only four of six entries here: http://site427.mysite4now.net/tazthedog/site1/ (click on the Upcoming Events tab in the lower-right hand corner).
This works correctly in IE and Chrome on a PC, but in Firefox on a Mac and PC it resets after four.
Any ideas why it resets?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Doesn't seem to be a problem for me in Chrome 5. What browser are you seeing this bug in?
Edit:
Ah, I got it in Firefox. Could be any number of things. Looks like it might be an edge detection thing. Or the height they pull from the page isn't the proper height needed for the animation. Chrome displays this properly, so you might want to check the "hitedge" and "height" variables to make sure they are properly assigned and defined. It could also be a timing thing or some sort of event delay with Firefox. Try upgrading to the latest version of jquery 1.4.2 to see if that resolves anything.
