Magento 1.9.2 images not saved - magento

Since the upgrade to the latest Magento version images are not being saved when uploaded.
They show up in the media/tmp folder but they don't show up in the product folder.
I have checked permissions of the product folder, .htaccess in media folder seems to be good.
I tried the database repair from Magento, there were some issues, but not related to this.
Checked the product.js which was suggested in an other topic here, which was correct as well.
In running out of ideas here.
Any suggestions in where to look?

Missing Cart Information in Magento

Bit of a strange one but when I go to add products to the cart on my Magento website (I'm using 1.9.3.8) the product information (image, name, etc) no longer shows up in the cart, either the preview when you hover over it or when in the cart itself. (Images in links)
The product is in there as the prices are there and customers have still been able to checkout and go ahead with their orders. But obviously, not having the product information there may confused some so it would be great to get it fixed.
The website has been targeted in a couple of phishing attacks recently so I have password protected some folders and added htaccess files to the affected folders denying access, I don't know if my above problem is anything to do with this but my worry is that in doing this I have accidentally broken the cart and have no idea how to fix it. I have gone back and removed some of the htaccess files but nothing has seemed to fix it.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be extremely appreciated.
Some time ago, I met the same case, the information about the product has disappeared on the cart. I changed the base theme to test. I compare the current version with a fresh one. I see some code gone. So, you need to enable the Magento's path hint to correctly check the PHP code in Phtml files. Maybe they are gone.

image goes upto tmp folder but is not uploaded in product image Magento 1.9.2.3

I updated my website theme and just a week back backend admin product image upload functionality completely stopped working. I am not able to view or upload images at all. I have checked the permissions made changes to Uploader.php in lib it goes up to tmp folder but doesnot upload. my Magento version is mentioned. I tried disabling modules. Adding Dull uploader / Maven HTML5 Uploader none of which seems to work. I have gone through most questions on Stack but no solution seems to work. Any help pointing me towards a good solution is appreciated
it seems that the theme update may be causing this issue.
First thing you can try is changing the theme to magento's default theme.
If this is not helping, you can try going into the image upload page in magento backend and inspect the page, see if there are any error messages. If this isn't helping you can try contacting the theme's support team to help you, or ask them for older version of the theme so you revert it.

In Magento ,I cant upload the image in the products

In magneto when i create the new products. I cant upload the product image. That page shows error like this
"Image type and information need to be specified for each store view. "
I cleared the Cache Storage but i also face this issue. Please help to solve this issue
I fixed problem below. I found solution from google.
Go chrome settings,
chrome://settings/content
Content settings flash
Choose Allow sites
This solution fixed my problem.
Usually this problem is browser based (corrupted flash player plugin)
Checklist suggested for it:
Check in another browser, if it is working try to reset the browser where it is giving problem.
missing /media directory or if /media directory has no write permission.
prototype js version is also causes this but rarely. (Only when you are doing up gradation or installing incompatible magento extension)
Let me know which one is working for you.
If you can’t upload images for a product in your admin section of magento it may have something to do with your flash plugin in your browser. Please disable Flash in your browser.
Use Magento HTML5 Uploader Extension. Extension link is below: https://marketplace.magento.com/mavenecommerce-html5-uploader.html
Just add those tags in layout file you can find solution here fixed

Woocommerce product images broken link

opencart theme not changing

I installed opencart 1.5.6 on my localhost, and it's not possible for me to change the theme. The admin panel says the new theme is active, but the default theme always appears.
I made the same installation on a remote server, and everything is working well there.
I have no idea what's wrong on my localhost. I'm on a new installation on Ubuntu 12.4 with a default configuration for LAMP. I tried to compare the two phpinfo but there are so many things that are different that gives me no clue.
It was just a problem of rights on the theme folder. Very stupid ...
First, I would check your database to see if the change is registered. Use phpMyAdmin (or whatever included with your LAMP stack) and look at the "oc_setting" (prefix may differ) and see if the config_template is set to the template you've chosen via the admin. This will help identify if the issue is database related.
I have the solution, the ACTUAL solution. (For me anyway)
Extract the theme.
Login to your OpenCart website using FTP. Please read our article if
you need help using FTP.
Upload the catalog and images folders to the root of your OpenCart installation.
Once the upload is finished, log into your OpenCart Dashboard and go
to System > Settings
Choose your website from the list, check the box next to it, and select “Edit”
In the store tab you will now see your new theme option available under 'Template'
Click Save.
It has now been updated.
Many, many tutorials online at the moment incorrectly instruct people to upload their theme directly into the catalog > view > theme location as though it were a WordPress theme or similar. You actually need to put the appropriate resources where they need to be.
