I have added some new buttons in the ribbon bar of Opportunity entity using ribbon workbench solution.
They are all working fine at the moment, but the only issue is that, I am unable to get any option in the ribbon workbench to change the appearance (back color, fore color, font, font style, size, etc) of the button, and so the button doesn't stand out from rest of the buttons.
Any idea on how to change the appearance of buttons in the ribbon?
I don't believe you can. You are probably best giving it an icon that stands out.
You can change the color scheme or add a logo/icon for customization.

Using Ribbon Workbench 2016 (3.1.177.1).
I'm fairly new to this, but I've successfully created a button for the unified interface which performs as expected.
However, the icon I've selected is white on a transparent background - as I believe it should be.
This works fine for the UI on desktop, which renders the command bar with a blue background.
However, when used on a phone, all commands appear in the "More Commands" flyout with a white background so the icon is not visible, as it is white on white.
I had a look at the display/enable rules, and couldn't see an appropriate option (CommandClientTypeRule only offers 'Modern, 'Refresh' and 'Legacy').
Is there a way for me to specify an image to use in the Modern interface in Phone layout? Or a way to show a different button if it is in the context of a flyout?
Thanks
Yes, the unified interface uses SVG image for Ribbon icons.
It can be set under ModernImage option in Ribbon Workbench after uploading in Dynamics CRM web resource.

I have been trying to change the back arrow button in the navigation UI to an image in stead of the arrow, but I haven't found any good examples.
Is there anyone here who can help me?
Back arrow button in navigation bar is default feature. I think it can't be changed. If you want to change it then you should use a custom navigation bar.
When creating a menu in Oracle Forms 6i, you can set a property for each menu option to be visible or not in the horizontal menu toolbar. You can also set the icon for the button on the toolbar and the text to display when hovering your mouse over it.
What I cannot find is the properties for the toolbar itself. It doesn´t seem to be possible to change the size, color or any other property for the toolbar.
I specifically want to change the size of the icons, since being an old tool, it was designed by default to work with 16x16 icons, but with current screen resolutions, the toolbar looks way to small.
Using larger icons doesn´t do the trick, since it just cuts the icon to 16 by 16.
Am I missing something? is it possible to adjust the toolbars properties?
Adjusting the size of the toolbar is a new feature in Forms 12c. It is not available in earlier versions.
"do you have any source for this?"
I saw Michael Ferrante (the Forms Product Manager) talk at UKOUG on Monday. So straight from the horse's mouth :) The Forms 12c New Features guide is here: page 12 is the page which will break your heart.
I am completely new to Xcode. I would like to hide the View Controller Scene panel, so that I can follow on with a tutorial, and have more screen real estate. I understand that I can hide the left and right panels, but it's the panel I have highlighted in red which I want to hide. Many thanks.
There's a small icon representing that panel at the bottom of the storyboard view. It's just to the left of the spot that says "View as: iPhone 8..." in your image. Click that icon to toggle the visibility of the storyboard outline view.
There's also a menu command: Editor->Hide Document Outline that does the same thing.
Press the highlighted icon to hide the side panel.
For xcode 11.3 you may hide the preview by
Editor->Preview
make sure it is not checked.
I have an NSTextView, which has graphics enabled so that users can drag images into it. The problem is that it has an arrow on the image, which opens a dropdown menu. Is there a way to disable this menu, because it causes problems within my app.
How about NSTextView's allowsImageEditing property?
Set it to "false".
