When trying to integrate NDepend into SonarQube, a NullPointerException is generated saying that "The property "sonar.cs.ndepend.projectPath" must be set (to an absolute path)"

The error message is very specific. Is there something about that error message that you don't understand?
The SonarQube scan is typically done during a build, after the source files are compiled to class files, so they are available in the same workspace.
I found an potential issue with SQ 5.6.6.
After i split projects into modules, issue happened and the project on sonarqube server couldn't be use anymore.
Could someone from SonarQube team look into it?

step1: add sonar-project.properties in test folder without module info and do full analysis. Succeed

looks like, step2 messed up protobuf of SQ server.
Workaround: delete the whole project from sonarQube server

I checked the folder that is reported as not existing in the log (..Q_SAMPLE) and I found that it is not actually a folder but an XML file called Q_SAMPLE$0.xml. My suspect is that the scanner is interpreting the file name as a folder because of the character '$' in the file name, even if this is a valid Windows file name.

It turns out that this is a known issue in the Java Plugin 4.2. It is supposed to be fixed when 4.3 comes out on September 16, 2016:

I'm actually trying to use sonarqube 5.4 on an AIX server and I've got some errors when running the analysis.
the same configuration has been tested on Windows and it's working.
The information are stored in an Oracle database(11gr2)
At the end of the analysis, it says that a lock file can't be deleted, but when I check after this file, it's not there anymore.
I've tried to use the last version of the wrapper, but in vain.
has anyone faced the same issue?
