ERROR:
ERROR: Re-run SonarScanner using the -X switch to enable full debug logging.
The error message is very specific. Is there something about that error message that you don't understand?
The SonarQube scan is typically done during a build, after the source files are compiled to class files, so they are available in the same workspace.

I am not able to figure out what is wrong with the sonar-scanner cli in my AWS CodeBuild container. It was working perfectly fine and stopped working all of sudden. I have searched for the exception and don't seem to figure out what is wrong with code. When I check the sonar project, it is not showing any analysis at all. Which means its failing locally does not event reach sonar server. I have checked this and many others but not able to figure out the problem. The Following is the error:

Please help me understand what I am doing wrong or if you need more information.
Found the problem: Sonar cli throws this error when file is too large. To be honest, the file wasn't even that large. It was a 2K line cloudformation template. But I can scan it with cfn_nag, no need of sonar.
Not sure what has happened with my system now, once I have reboot my windows laptop then after I am unable to open STS than.

Not sure now from where that ArrayIndecOutoFBound Exception is coming, I have googled the same but nothing solved out my problem.
Just find below file in your STS install configuration directory and delete it -
/configuration/.settings/org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs Blockquote
beware now you guys would not get previous workspace suggestions like before as we have just deleted the one of the setting file from STS.
Hope this will help.

I'm using the following configuration:
SonarQube server v6.3.1
SonarQube Scanner for MsBuild v2.1.0 (task
for TFS build)
Oracle Database 12c
I checked the folder that is reported as not existing in the log (..Q_SAMPLE) and I found that it is not actually a folder but an XML file called Q_SAMPLE$0.xml. My suspect is that the scanner is interpreting the file name as a folder because of the character '$' in the file name, even if this is a valid Windows file name.
You are facing a bug that we are about to fix: SONARMSBRU-322.
When trying to integrate NDepend into SonarQube, a NullPointerException is generated saying that "The property "sonar.cs.ndepend.projectPath" must be set (to an absolute path)"
I followed the instructions but right now I'm at a loss. Any ideas, anyone?

The .NET and C# plugins version 2.1 are not compatible with newer versions of SonarQube (including 4.5.4).
You should really consider upgrading to the latest C# plugin and use the MSBuild SonarQube Runner developed in partnership with Microsoft to analyze all .NET projects: It vastly improves the experience, provides much better analysis results, and is way easier to use.
See http://redirect.sonarsource.com/plugins/csharp.html to get started.
The information below is informative only, and will allow you to proceed with an unsupported deprecated version of the C# plugin (which is bad, so think twice :p):
I see that you created your own StyleCop plugin, with the key stylecopcsharp: You should define valid SQALE remediation costs for each rule - or SonarQube will refuse to start.
The easiest way is actually to remove all SQALE remediation cost information. Now, if you'd like to keep SQALE, you can have a look at the stack trace and see how SonarQube's validation works: DeprecatedRulesDefinitionLoader.java#L135
There could be more obstacles preventing the use of .NET and C# with SonarQube 4.5.4, so again think twice before going this way.
