I'm using the following configuration:
SonarQube server v6.3.1
SonarQube Scanner for MsBuild v2.1.0 (task
for TFS build)
Oracle Database 12c
I checked the folder that is reported as not existing in the log (..Q_SAMPLE) and I found that it is not actually a folder but an XML file called Q_SAMPLE$0.xml. My suspect is that the scanner is interpreting the file name as a folder because of the character '$' in the file name, even if this is a valid Windows file name.

above error is due to the path name , change
sonar.sources=.
to
sonar.sources=./
will solve the problem.
Gson (as a part of Sonar) tried to parse the string 13-ea to an int while trying to find out the java version. According to this thread, this was not supported in March, 2013.
According to this Gson issue the issue was fixed in gson version 2.8.5.
This SonarLint pull request fixd the issue on SonarLint's side by updating Gson. It was merged in April, 2019.
If you look at the SonarLint Release page, you can clearly see that the next version after the merge is 4.3.0.2475 while you use SonarScanner 4.3.0.2102.
Just update Sonar scanner to the latest version and you should be fine.

Another option would to just use another non-early-access java version.

500 sonarqube server error when accessing project.protobuf

I found an potential issue with SQ 5.6.6.
After i split projects into modules, issue happened and the project on sonarqube server couldn't be use anymore.
Could someone from SonarQube team look into it?

step1: add sonar-project.properties in test folder without module info and do full analysis. Succeed

Workaround: delete the whole project from sonarQube server

Facing nullpointerexception while integrating jenkins(1.646) and sonar(5.2).

Read timed out on SonarQube analysis

We previously discussed the problem on the now closed SonarQube Users mailing list.
The problem was solved by exchanging the for about half a week by optimizing the Postgre DB, then the problem reoccured.
We are using Jenkins 1.612 using the SonarQube Jenkins Plugin 2.2.1, Sonar 5.1 using a Postgre 9.1 database.
We are running about 20 JAVA projects/branches using much legacy code and having about 1.2 million LOC and 130k issues.
There are about 30 JAVA projects module projects having 1k-20k LOC and less than 2k issues.
There are about 50 custom JAVA projects having less than 200k LOC and less than 10k issues.
Our projects are written in JAVA (6/7) and using ANT 50% or Gradle 50% as build tools.

Found a workaround if triggered from Jenkins.
At this link there was a similar issue for an older Sonar version. They triggered regularly the URL to keep the query in DB cache. This works for this issue also.
In Jenkins I installed the http Request plugin and before issuing the sonar analysis I trigger a http get on http://mySonarQube:9000/batch/project?key=myProjectKey&preview=false . This works around the real problem (DB request duration and timeout interval don't fit), but it may keep us operable.
In the next few days Sonar 5.2 will occur. We will test this version and I hope there the issues will be gone... I'll report...

The problem can be solved in 4 ways:
add more resources to SonarQube server process and/or server platform (e.g. faster disks)
upgrade SonarQube server to the newest version (e.g. a lot of performance problems have been fixed in SonarQube 5.2 - see release notes)
change timeout value in sources and compile custom server
add indexes on columns in database (not recommended, you can read executed SQL commands from logs in debug mode)

SonarQube requesting project properties via http results in "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out"

When using sonar runner to analyze a multi-module project I repeatedly run into a java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out exception being thrown at various point during the analysis. The project has 13 modules and ~200k LOC total. SCM and LDAP plugins are being used.
Environment:
SonarQube: 4.4
SonarRunner: 2.4
The read timeout occurs either:
At the beginning of analysis when loading global properties (e.g. http://hostname:9000/batch_bootstrap/properties?dryRun=false)
Sometime in the middle when loading module properties (e.g. http://hostname:9000/batch_bootstrap/properties?dryRun=false&project=MyProj:MyModule).
I’ve look for a way to increase the socket time out but it looks like the following Sonar Runner analysis parameters were removed at some point:
sonar.host.connectTimeoutMs
sonar.host.readTimeoutMs
Troubleshooting Notes:
I’ve turned OFF LDAP authentication and the problem still exists.
I can complete the http requests via a web browser (e.g. by typing http://hostname:9000/batch_bootstrap/properties?dryRun=false into Firefox) just fine and the request completes instantly which doesn’t suggest a delay that would cause a timeout.
Any ideas on what the likely cause(s) may be and how to diagnose/troubleshoot this issue?
