How to solve forced scroll-content on ion-content - scroll

The problem is that If I click the input box to load keyboard layout, map gets attribute padding-bottom by the scroll-content class but my HTML code doesn't imply to so.
I put scroll="false" and then after, put fixed-content on ion-content attribute but all failed.
How to solve this problem?
<ion-content scroll="false" class="home">
<div class="upper" id="upper">

jsPlumb multiple containment are not working together. is this bug?

I have following HTML
<div id="leftpanel">
<div id="top"></div>
<div id="middle"></div>
<div id="bottom"></div>
</div>
I am adding draggable through JS dynamically. And using following JS code to make them draggable.
jsPlumb.draggable($("#top .draggable"),{containment:"#top"});
jsPlumb.draggable($("#middle .draggable"),{containment:"#middle"});
jsPlumb.draggable($("#bottom .draggable"),{containment:"#bottom"});
It shows me draggble in right containers. But when I star dragging, it suddenly moves selected draggable into top container. And when I drag it outside of top container it don't let me.
I have tried setting position of draggable to : relative,absolute. But it dint solve the problem .
Edit:
if I use
$("#divId").draggable({containment:container});
it works fine. But connections don't get dragged along with dvs. If I do following
jsPlumb.draggable($("#divId"),{containment:container});
then connections move along with divs but above mentioned problems occurrs ie div automatically moves to top conteiner.
in your jsfiddle you're not using jquery.jsPlumb-xxx-min.js

Input text inside a link tag in IE8

Is there a way to make input text inside a link tag works well in IE8? I cannot place the caret inside nor select the text within it.
<input type="text">
I think the reason why I'm trying to do this is not important here, just consider I have no choice of make it work under an <a> tag. I only have control over what's inside the <a> tag.
As a solution, I was thinking about some JQuery DOM manipulation when in IE8 mode but there must be a easier/cleaner way of fixing this "bug".
Thanks
I think this is due to the input and link tag display properties, while an input is display:inline-block; your link is display:inline;. Try to play with these properties and z-index if it's not working.
Hovever, i think jQuery solution is better, and simpler, except if this is your only usage of jQuery on your page.
HTML :
<input type="text" />
jQuery script
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
$("#myInputLink").click(function(){
// .trigger('focus') or .focus(), but the first one is better on my own
$(this).next('input[type="text"]').trigger('focus');
});
});
Have a nice day.

ajax return is not displaying in chrome until hover on main menu

I'm experiencing a problem ONLY in Chrome where an Ajax response is not being displayed. Oddly, when I hover over the page's main menu, the response shows up and also stays when I move the mouse away again from the main menu.
Here is a more specific description:
The page contains a search box that allows the user to start typing a contact name. As the user types, an ajax request is made to return a list of suggested contacts. The user can then click on a radio button corresponding to a contact in that list to display all the contact information of that one person. Up to that point everything works fine. But now if the user goes back to the search box to change his search, the previously returned list of contacts goes away, but the new one from the new search does not show up. It is the click on the radio button that causes the following search not to display any ajax responses. The odd thing now is that the response does show up if the user hovers over the main menu at the top of the page (which uses css), and it also stays if the user moves the mouse away again from the menu and everything works fine afterwards. Here is the page structure:
<div id="fixedTopBar">
<?php
include("include/mainMenu.php");
?>
</div>
<div id="pageContent">
<div id="contactListContainer">
<form>
<input id="contactSearchBox" type="text" autocomplete="off" onkeyup="showHint(this.value, 'contactList', null , 'include/ajax/getContacts.php')">
</form>
<div id="contactList">
<form>
<?php
echoAllContacts(getContactsFromDatabase());
?>
</form>
</div>
</div>
<div id="profile"></div>
The ajax request is made with the showHint() function in the id="contactSearchBox" input, and the response is displayed within the id="contactList" div.
So in short, the click on a radio button causes the problem, and hovering over the top menu solves the problem (very strange no?).
Please let me know what other code you need to track down the problem if you have any ideas, or if anything I said did not make sense.
Thanks in advance!
I was able to solve my problem with some css:
The id="contactListContainer" div was positioned: fixed ...once I positioned it absolute, the problem was gone. Now, to actually position it fixed and not have the problem, I also had to add the position:fixed or position:absolute property to the child div id="contactList".

Create a horizontal scrolling div without defining a specific width?

Im trying to create a horizontally scrolling gallery but I would like to avoid defining the width on the div. Someone else is touching the html - I want her to be able to drop in as many li as possible without having to touch the css and redefining the width.
The mock site is here: rachelbeen.com/Carmen.
Safari recognizes where the content ends and stops the horizontal scroll - but firefox maintains that extra space as defined by the width:6600px; on the #gallery ul. How do I stop that from happening?
Would like to avoid plugins if possible and use only CSS.
Thanks,
-Rachel
I had the same problem and I tried this:
#full{margin:0 auto; overflow:auto; height:100%; width:1050px;}
// width is just for controlling the viewport.
#holder{float:left; margin-right:-30000px;}
.box{float:left; margin:2px;}
and HTML should be like:
<div id="full">
<div id="holder">
<div id="box1" class="box"></div>
<div id="box2" class="box"></div>
</div>
</div>
add many DIVs as you want and it'll make more space for you boxes without giving it a specific width. I hope it helps you.

JQTransform and reCAPTCHA not playing nice

The Problem:
I am working on a site where I wanted to use JQTransform to quickly get a good looking form for a contact page. Also, to avoid the customer getting junk, I decided to add reCAPTCHA. I ran into the issue of JQTransform styles for the textbox causing the elements in the reCAPTCHA to be displaced.
It seemed like the type of problem that would have a simple fix but I struggled with it for a while.
I tried the solution at:
JQTransform - Exclude an element from styling?
This did not solve the issue, nor did a few other answers to the "How do you make JQTransform stop JQTransforming an element?" question.
What has produced usable results is adding:
<script type="text/javascript">
var RecaptchaOptions = {
theme: 'clean'
};
</script>
This changes the reCAPTCHA to a format that looks better in the form anyway. But it leaves 2 textbox styles. One that is your normal default textbox and another underneath that is the JQTransform rounded corner, light blue on hover/focus textbox.
Then I added:
$(function () {
$( "#recaptcha_response_field" ).attr('style', 'border: 0px; padding: 5px; solid #3c3c3c; width: 302px;');
});
and this alters the style that reCAPTCHA has for the textbox. Now the textbox looks like the other inputs of the form. I am pretty happy with the result.
(I know you're now asking: "Then why are you here?")
The Question:
Is there a way to have JQTransform ignore any input,checkbox,etc that is in the <form></form> by wrapping those in a div?
If I want to use JQTransform with some other plug-in in the future I would like to be able to just drop it in to a div like:
<div class="donot-jqtransform">
<?php
echo printCaptchaPlugin();
?>
</div>
or
<div class="donot-jqtransform">
<%= PrintPasswordValidationPlugin() >
</div>
That way I don't have to worry about what the code brings into the form and it will work and look as intended. That's the idea of having the abstraction in the first place, right? So if I want to switch out reCAPTCHA with another option, all I do is replace code in the printCaptchaPlugin() function and all should be bacon(good) for any form that uses it.
well i've made a new library - csTransPie – basing it on jqtransform – jqtransform is a great library but it really has many problems
I'm creating regular input fields (css styled) and you won't have those problems
https://github.com/pkoretic/csTransPie
It’s a work in progress but even now it’s better than jqtransform (more than half of the css rewritten, many bugs solved, clean css…)
now you can use it per element with just one class!
all suggestions are welcome!
Sorry if it's bad form to pile in on an old answered question, but I found this as I had the same problem.
I didn't want to add another library to my project, so I amended the jqtransform.js to include this line in the TextArea handler (line 221-ish)
if (textarea.parents().hasClass('jqTransformIgnore')) { return; }
I then just had to add the jqtransformIgnore class to the recaptcha div...
<div class="g-recaptcha jqTransformIgnore" data-sitekey="blahblahblah"></div>
... and that did the trick!
