Odoo 10 - Sending emails with sale orders or invoices - odoo-10

I have installed and configured odoo (v10) on my own server but I can't send email an email from sale order or invoice.
My mail configuration is good as I'm able to send out password resets via mail or send an email from the configuration > mail.

Have you setup an outgoing email server yet?
Activate Developer Mode.
Navigate To Settings > Technical > Email > Outgoing Email Servers.
Edit the existing one or create your own and test the connection.
It's easy to use a simple Gmail address with smtp.gmail.com to start out with as the smtp server. Quick way to test.

Outlook Exchange change email from name base on send

Is it possible to change the From Name of an email (not the sending address) when sending an email from Outlook Exchange?
Is there any add-in that can help us achieve this?
I can see with Exchange only admin can change the sending from name. Is there an alternative?
In general, you can't do that out of the box. The latest version of hosted (M365) Exchange allows to configure a mailbox to send as one of its proxy SMTP addresses, but the sender display name will still be the same.
You can try to use an addin like Proxy Manager (I am its author) - besides allowing to send through any of the mailbox proxy addresses, it also allows an end-user to change the sender display name.

How to get emails directly without storing in webmail inbox?

I am facing problem regarding Outlook app. I have successfully connected webmail with outlook app, but when I delete email from Webmail then it also delete from Outlook. I don't want to delete from my ourlook app. It should keep it for my record.
One of my friend told me that he is getting mail directly from the sender to outlook app without storing a single mail on webmail server.
How can I customize settings to get my issue resolved?
If mail connection is IMAP, a delete will remove the mail everywhere.
If mail connection is POP3, it will not.

Gmail send as with delegates not working (but send as works if logged into main account)

I have a Gmail account setup that I have multiple delegates that can send/receive emails for the account. On that account I setup a "Send As" to send email (using SMTP to an office 365 email account).
This was working but I recently removed the old "Send As" and setup a new one (to use Office 365 instead of another service), now the delegates can not send email anymore, they get the below error.
When I log into the gmail account directly I can send email using the "Send As" account no problem. But if I log in as the delegate to send email, I get the same error.
I tried deleting the delegate and re-adding and it did not work.
Any help would be appreciated. If you need more details please let me know

You're sending this from a different address or alias using the 'Send mail as' feature. The settings for your 'Send mail as' account are misconfigured or out of date. Check those settings and try resending.
The response from the remote server was:

this is terrible for me now. i used php mail function and also use Contact Form 7 plugins too on my wordpress theme. also smtp plugins too. change many smtp server. but not work. mail function and Contact Form 7 both working fine on other mail account (gmail, yahoo. hotmail or any other pop mail) not just my client pop account. because they use microsoft exchange server.
for test issue i did something like i sent mail to frist to one gmail account and i setup in gmail auto fwd to one them that pop account . it working well but this problem is in mail show where it is from (xxxx#gmail.com) .. i don't want to show that gmail address. or i want direct send to that pop account.
server is godaddy
guys any solution ?
Google doesn't allow you to send from other addresses unless you are hosting your domain with them.

Lotus Notes Emails going to Outlook Group

I am trying to send email to a Lotus Notes group from a Lotus Notes application, But email is sent to Outlook group with same name. Is there any way that email be sent to LN group not to exchange group.
Here LN is not used for mailing anymore. It is done by Exchange.
Yes this is possible. Making a few assumptions about your setup it sounds like at one of our clients. Domino is used for apps but exchange for email, with domino routing mail via exchange.
The the domain is something like xyz.com then sending a mail to "MyGroup" will go to MyGroup.xyz.com and via exchange.
To send just to domino you need to use the Local primary Internet domain which is configured under the Messaging\Domains section in server config on Conversions tab. In our case it's domino.xyz.com so sending a mail to mygroup#domino.xyz.com would go to domino and not routed to exchange
Set your Notes group's type as 'Access Control List' only, so it won't be considered a mailable name.
