Xamarin - support inserting GIF and images using Android keyboard

Has anyone gotten the android keyboard to support GIF and image insertion in an Xamarin app? Let's say I want to build a chat application, have a custom EditText view to capture user input, and want to have it behave similar to the Android built-in chat application. Currently the keyboard shows a popup . Is it possible to make this work? I prefer to not create a custom keyboard renderer, though was hoping this could be done within a custom EditText renderer. UPDATE: For anyone looking for a similar solution, I have been making progress using the https://github.com/xamarin/monodroid-samples/tree/main/android-n/CommitContentSample. Essentially set the content mime types and wrap the IOnCommitContentListener, then process OnCommitContent().

How to change titlebar color in Delphi 10.4 FMX application?

Why there is no property about Form TitleBar in Delphi 10.4 FMX multi-device application? (Windows 64bit application)
How to change the form TitleBar color?
I can not edit the custom or the default style for Form either.
Found a third-party site that shows some styles have colored TitleBar.
https://www.delphistyles.com/fmx/index.html
So, does anyone knows the mystery part about it?
In order to edit Title bar style the style editor that is built into Delphi IDE won't be enough. The built in style designer is mostly intended to quickly create custom styles for specific components.
What you want to use is standalone Bitmap Style Designer that you launch from Tools-> Bitmap Stlye Designer

Is it possible to view content of page renderer within xaml viewer

I am using Xamarin Forms as a primary framework, and I rely heavily on visual studio Xaml viewer. It came that I must use Page Renderers to get some native controls from Xamarin.iOS.
Is there anyway to display the native controls in Xaml viewer? What is the best way to design the native UI components within Xamarin?
Is there anyway to display the native controls in Xaml viewer?
Unfortunately , native controls can not display in Xaml Viewer.
What is the best way to design the native UI components within Xamarin?
If want to show native control in Viewer in IOS, just using IOS designer may be the best way to see native viewer, however this is not total viewer in Xaml Viewer. You also can just see part view in Xaml,so this also has a little regret.

Select text and copy from label xamarin forms

I have for some days been reading on different forums about the issue of selecting a text and copying the text natively from a label in xamarin forms and it seems to be no straightforward way of implementing this.
My problem is that I need to present a large amount of data from a book in a label and the user should be able to select and copy a chunk of text from the label.
I moved on to present the data in an Editor component instead but then the user can edit the text in the Editor. Making the Editor component read-only doesn't solve the problem either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I recently faced the same business requirement. An Editor with Renderers customization on each platform was the solution for me.
In short, Android renderer leverages CustomSelectionActionModeCallback and CustomInsertionActionModeCallback properties of EditText to customize context menu for text selection and insertion, while iOS renderer is pretty straight-forward and sets Selectable and Editable properties of UITextView.
Check out my post with full code for Xamarin.Forms. You can also read posts on native Android and native iOS for more details.
I have the same requirement and I implemented CustomLabelRenderer for Android and iOS platform.

WP7 Datepicker page - custom background

I want to use the WP7 toolkit datepicker and have my own custom background on the picker page. There are several examples that show the use of a custom page to replace the existing selection mechanism e.g. http://windowsphonegeek.com/articles/wp7-datepicker-and-timepicker-in-depth--api-and-customization
But I don't want to do that - I simply want the picker page to have a different background (than the themed white or black) Can I do this easily. Or do I have to download the toolkit code and include that in my solution and adjust that?
In order to do that you will have to create a copy of the DatePickerPage.xaml file from the Silverlight for Windows Phone Toolkit in your application, change it to meet your requirements, and then on your DatePicker control set the PickerPageUri proprety to the new DatePickerPage.xaml
