Oculus Rift fails to load Firefox - firefox

I'm attempting to run WebVR content on Firefox within my Oculus Rift using the "Enter VR" button on the various examples at AFrame.io/MozVr.com. Before selecting the button I can see that my Rift is reacting with the visualization on the screen (it pans back and forth etc. as I turn the headset). However, when I click the "Enter VR" button, the home screen within the Oculus fades to black as though it will load Firefox, but then fades back to the Oculus home screen.
Unfortunately the Oculus doesn't share information about what is causing this error. I'm using the most recent versions of Oculus and Firefox (currently version 57), which I know for sure is WebVR compatible. I also confirmed that Firefox's about:config settings are set to enable Oculus.
Has anyone encountered this? Thanks.

So do I.
Though a makeshift way...
Leave VR , close Oculus Home and browser.
Launch a browser and enter VR.
If Oculus Home is launched automatically, the sample works well.
I hope you will go well.

This worked for me (gaming laptop):
go to NVIDIA control panel and select
Manage 3D Settings
Program settings
select Firefox
and pick "High-performance NVIDIA processor'
in the select the preferred graphics processor...
click Apply

Image is not displaying correctly on chrome browser

From some days ago, images are not displaying correctly in my browser(chrome). It's displaying with mosaic effect like following screenshot.
Is this virus or what? If virus, how to fix this? (If I refresh page, it displays well, but a few mins later it doesn't display well again.).

Scrollwheel not working in Chrome for OSX

I have an application built with JSF and PrimeFaces. I am using a layoutPane and within it are two panels. I have set up CSS to scroll the content sections of the panels however the scrollwheel will not work on OSX using Chrome version 51. I can however use the arrow keys to scroll the section. The scrolling works as expected when using Safari and Firefox but not Chrome.
I should note also that I am using a Mac Pro with Retina display. I also have a second monitor attached that is a HP w2207. To make things even more interesting, if I drag the Chrome window to the HP monitor the scrolling works as expected. Dragging the window back to the laptop Retina display and the scrolling no longer works.
I have tried various system settings and nothing has worked. I have also tried altering the HTML/CSS thinking maybe there is some kind of collision between the parent panel and the child panels but I have not been able to come up with a fix.
Has anyone experienced this issue before or could point me in the right direction?
Upgrade Chrome to version 52.
I'm working on a different stack, but the issue seems to be exactly the same: in some cases scroll doesn't work and it happens only when I'm using Chrome 51 and Retina. I wasn't able to find the cause, and the only solution that I know is upgrading Chrome.

WebVR - How to display on the headset screen AND a monitor screen

I am displaying a WebVR scene in a browser.
But only the user with the headset (an oculus rift) can see the scene.
My question :
Is there a way to see on another screen what the user see ?
I would like to give advices to the user (you can do that, you can go here too, etc).
Thanks
I use Open Broadcaster Software which can capture external monitors (like the Rift in extended mode) and individual windows. It's typically used for recording and streaming but you can use it for mirroring with its "Preview" mode. This works pretty well usually, although it does take some time to setup correctly and can be temperamental.
There are a couple of reddit posts about setup tips:

Well, as your comment states, if turning off compatibility mode fixes it - then your issue lies in compatibility with older versions of IE. You can either try to find a workaround for that - or just design for newer versions. There really are very few people who use older versions of IE anymore - so I would recommend perhaps checking their browser version and asking them to upgrade, instead of trying to find some ugly hack/workaround for those few people. May not be 'best practice', but it works.

Missing icons in Glimpse

I have just installed Glimpse, and in Google Chrome I am missing a lot of the UI icons (eg, the '+' signs to expand the blocks of details).
Any known fixes? I use Chrome for development as I find it runs faster than FireFox and IE, so it is a bore to guess where the icons are.
Also, no close button for the debugger, and the eye doesn't show when 'minimized'.
#awrigley What version of chrome are you using (currently we have been testing against Chrome 11, Firefox 4 and IE9)?
Also can you navigate to www.yoursite.com/Glimpse/glimpseSprite.png? If you can get to that endpoint can you "Inspect Element" on where you expect the buttons to be and check what chrome thinks the image URL(...) in the style is set to.
