Telerik's Rad Grid Edit Mode Switching - telerik

Here is my requirement,
I want to use only Batch Edit mode in my Rad Grid for editing & pop up for inserting.
While inserting I want to switch it to pop-up because there are a lot of columns/fields in my grid.
I've tried looking in several tickets in the Telerik's portal, but I couldn't find exact answer. Here are some links which I've tried on.
Note: Rad Grid's Batch Edit mode heavily depends on client side. Only Java Script answers are preferable.
Mixing Edit Modes
Switch Mode only from In-Place to Pop Up
None of the above answers helped me.

Update user interface suggestions

I have an intranet system that uses the DHTMLX UI Framework as user interface, but I'm looking for more modern interfaces that suits the current interface. The current version of DHTMLX I'm using only supports jQuery 1.x, that is a serious security problem. I already asked to update the version using the same UI, but there is a lack of documentation on its updated product. I.e., if I Googled for specific method or some way to run specific task or behavior, I'm always being redirected to elder documentation, or it simply doesn't exist!
I sketched here the current main UI I have: https://dhtmlx.com/docs/products/visualDesigner/live/?preview=true&id=967kh4
Explaining the behaviors: I have the layout separated by tabs, but the Tab 0 is the main record, and "sub tabs" are records according the selected row on grid of Tab 0. If there is no selected row, all sub tabs are disabled by default. If I add a new record on specific tab, automatically it adds a new row to equivalent tab.
This front is not so usual, but allows user previewing quickly the dependencies.
Question is... Do some of you have something similar to this layout? I'm disposing layouts that has to click on the main record, have to load an entire screen just to preview its dependencies.
The image below shows the current system interface
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Unbind/unsynchronized scrolling in source control compare function

In compare option inside the source control, the scrolling is bind together for both files.
I want to scroll just one of the sides while the other stay pinned also I want to avoid comparing outside on the VS.
I can't find any solution online and there is no obvious option in the VS.
I'm Using VS2015 with TFS.
Thank you.
EDIT
New feature request for microsoft was opened
Feature request
EDIT
In VS1029 Version 16.11.3 feature exist, by pressing it you can unbind the windows
In compare option inside the source control, the scrolling is bind
together for both files.
For this , I am afraid this is by designed. The same is true for my test in visual studio2019.
You could add your request for this feature on our UserVoice site , which is our main forum for product suggestions. After suggest raised, you can vote and add your comments for this feedback. The product team would provide the updates if they view it.

Is Kendo UI Core Grid open source?

I am trying to create a application which involves in heavy usage of data grid. I found in few articles that telerik kendo ui grid is free to use. As there is lot of confusion on telerik grid as open source from link 2, I am trying to check if someone really used this as open source. Is it really open source and free to use?
Link 1, Link 2
The open source version of Kendo UI used to include the grid component, but no longer does:
Now, not all Kendo UI widgets are created equal. Some widgets - like
the Grid, Scheduler, and Editor - are so feature-rich that they're
more solutions than widgets. As such, they consume a great deal of
engineering effort to build and maintain. To ensure that critical
widgets like these continue to get the proper attention and focus they
deserve from our engineering team, we’ve decided to offer these only
with Kendo UI Professional (formerly Kendo UI Complete)

rows and column entries

I am working on the Visual Studio using MFC. I want to make a table having rows and columns. Rows with four entries and columns entries have no limits. Which toolbox I should use in order to proceed in this task. I tried listbox, combo box, mfc vslist but these are not fulfilling my requirements. Kindly guide me which tool box I should use for this purpose. I get some kind of info from that link http://www.functionx.com/visualc/controls/listbox.htm but this is not required.
According to your description, you can use the standard List Control (CListCtrl) in report mode or, if more advanced features are needed, a full-blown grid control. In codeproject you can find these two, which are quite widely used:
MFC Grid control
The Ultimate Grid
I don't know if they work well with VS 2010, but the first one, according to the link provided, it does. The Ultimate Grid says it works up to VS2005, but I'm using it with VS2008. I don't remember if I had to change anything in order to make it work, though.
Anyway, I would first give the standard CListCtrl a try, and if you find you need more, try any of the others.

how to display a html page inside dynamically created silverlight child window

I want to a html page inside a dynamically created silverlight child window without telerik control.
The telerik control isn't doing anything you can't do yourself with enough effort - it's all just transparent user code.
So, you could create <div> and position it carefully just like the telerik control does - but of course this can be a lot of work (that's why folks would want to pay for their control).
This also only works when the plugin is windowless, which has lots of trade-offs (see MSDN - for example, accessibility support is greatly reduced or gone entirely, I can't recall which).
In out-of-browser mode, you can use the WebBrowser control, in case that helps should you wish to make your app available OOB later.
