Spring boot: error asking to implement all methods in JpaRepository - spring-boot

Why is this happening? It didn't happen when I worked on a spring project in STS few months back.
I have imported the following in the class:
import org.springframework.data.jpa.repository.JpaRepository;
import org.springframework.stereotype.Repository;
Following is my pom.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

A Custom Repository has to be an interface and this has to extend from JpaRepository or CrudRepository or PagingAndSortingRepository or MongoRepository, so update by following way:
#Repository
public interface UserRepository extends JpaRepository<User, Long> {....}

I am trying to use JPA in my springboot project, but after adding the dependencies when I try to run the spring boot application, it shows error

For starters the required dependencies should look something like this:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-data-jpa</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>mysql</groupId>
<artifactId>mysql-connector-java</artifactId>
</dependency>
When you add the jpa dependency to your project it will try to wire a dataSource bean. You will need to provide adequate properties for this bean to be configured or your project startup will fail.
Your properties file should look something like this:
spring.datasource.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/yourDBname
spring.datasource.username=root
spring.datasource.password=pass
spring.datasource.driver-class-name=com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver
spring.jpa.database-platform=org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5InnoDBDialect
Mind that this db should exist in your MySQL instance.

When I deploy Spring Boot app on Elastic Beanstalk It cannot find, .jsp files

I have simple Spring Boot Web application which runs in local as it should be. However when I deploy it on elastic beanstalk, I am getting 404 error which says /WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp not found.
Here is my pom.xml:

and application.property files:
server.port=5000
spring.mvc.view.prefix=/WEB-INF/jsp/
spring.mvc.view.suffix=.jsp

and here is my controller class:
package com.example.arge.controller;

import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.GetMapping;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.ResponseBody;

public class HelloController {

}
the index.jsp file is located under src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp.
All things seems to be ok, I could no figure out what is wrong

spring security : GrantedAuthority is not importing

i am using the spring security. I added the dependency in the pom.xml but the GrantedAuthority class is not importing in the code.
pom.xml is

in the user file the UserDetails and the GrantedAuthority is not imported from the security package. the github link is
https://github.com/dishankgoyal/spring-boot
I was having the same problem and I was able to solve it by updating spring security dependencies to the latest version and refreshing pom.xml

spring boot security properties not working

i am not able to access /beans endpoint after adding the security properties in application.properties.
my all files are like this.
SpringActuator.java

import org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.SpringBootApplication;
#SpringBootApplication
public class SpringActuatorApp {
public static void main(String[] args) {
SpringApplication.run(SpringActuatorApp.class, args);
}
}

security.user.password=act
management.security.roles=ACTUATOR

In all tutorials, configurations are just like this and everybody got running their actuator endpoint. but i am not able do that. please point out any mistake i made.

why #HystrixCommand which is the annotation of spring injected is failed?

The pom file of my service which is maven project as follow:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

And the part source code of my service as follows:
#HystrixCommand(fallbackMethod = "reliable")
public String readingList(){
URI uri = URI.create("http://localhost:8090/recommended");
return this.restTemplate.getForObject(uri, String.class);
}
My question is, when I import com.netflix.hystrix.contrib.javanica.annotation.HystrixCommand, it is not recognized. Anyone encountered this same problem?
Please tell me about how did you resolved it.
Thanks.
According to the latest POM file, it has been deprecated in favour of spring-cloud-starter-netflix-hystrix. STS didn't help me to add the import either, so you might need to add it manually:
import com.netflix.hystrix.contrib.javanica.annotation.HystrixCommand;
