When I deploy Spring Boot app on Elastic Beanstalk It cannot find, .jsp files - spring

I have simple Spring Boot Web application which runs in local as it should be. However when I deploy it on elastic beanstalk, I am getting 404 error which says /WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp not found.
Here is my pom.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

and application.property files:
server.port=5000
spring.mvc.view.prefix=/WEB-INF/jsp/
spring.mvc.view.suffix=.jsp
spring.mvc.static-path-pattern=/resources/**
and here is my controller class:
package com.example.arge.controller;
import org.springframework.stereotype.Controller;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.GetMapping;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.ResponseBody;
#Controller
public class HelloController {
#GetMapping("/")
public String index() {
return "index";
}
}
the index.jsp file is located under src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp.
All things seems to be ok, I could no figure out what is wrong

JSP file is not rendering in Spring-Boot after included dependencies

#RequestMapping("/")

return "index";
}
}
here is the project directory tree
please suggest something to resolve this problem.
Your JSP file should be in by default "src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/jsp" directory and right now it seems to be in wrong location.
UPDATE:- Looking at your shared code - the reason you are facing this problem is that you have annotated your Controller with #RestController instead of #Controller because of which the String you are returning from your controller is being written directly on the output stream instead of framework first checking the view name against a JSP template and then rendering it. If you change the annotation to #Controller it works fine

Why is this happening? It didn't happen when I worked on a spring project in STS few months back.

No GUI on fresh project

On Spring Boot Initializr I setup a project with spring-boot-starter-web and spring-boot-admin-starter-server, but when run it produces no GUI on localhost:8080. The log shows a message related to Thymeleaf templates. Is it related? How can I make this thing work?
Cannot find template location: classpath:/templates/ (please add some templates or check your Thymeleaf configuration)

why #HystrixCommand which is the annotation of spring injected is failed?

The pom file of my service which is maven project as follow:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

And the part source code of my service as follows:
#HystrixCommand(fallbackMethod = "reliable")
public String readingList(){
URI uri = URI.create("http://localhost:8090/recommended");
return this.restTemplate.getForObject(uri, String.class);
}
My question is, when I import com.netflix.hystrix.contrib.javanica.annotation.HystrixCommand, it is not recognized. Anyone encountered this same problem?
Please tell me about how did you resolved it.
Thanks.
According to the latest POM file, it has been deprecated in favour of spring-cloud-starter-netflix-hystrix. STS didn't help me to add the import either, so you might need to add it manually:
import com.netflix.hystrix.contrib.javanica.annotation.HystrixCommand;
