I would like to ask about these images I found to be glitchy on google chrome.
I must confirm that none of these are intentional.
This started since I saw a glitchy image on my google classroom, here are some images I found to be glitchy. I don't seems to find a pattern from them.
Glitchy image on google classroom
How the google classroom image should look like (my friend's perspective)
Broken logos of chrome extensions (fullscreen)
Broken search icon
Broken pdf icon on web.whatsapp.com
It sometimes manages to fix itself though, I successfully took a screenshot of glitchy icons and the normal ones.
Search Icons, both normal and glitchy displayed at the same time
I've tried to delete images cache and even reinstalled chrome, none of them works to fix this problem.
Some information that might help narrow down the problem:
I've recently used this PC with a new SSD (I've used it for about a month now), which contains the chrome itself, and it works properly so far. I don't think this should be a problem with the disk. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
However, on the day this happens, I installed the React Devtool (I've deleted it though) (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/react-developer-tools/fmkadmapgofadopljbjfkapdkoienihi) and the Redux Devtools (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/redux-devtools/lmhkpmbekcpmknklioeibfkpmmfibljd)
Can this problem be a bug on the chrome itself, or perhaps something related with skia? Should I report this as a problem to Chrome, or is this a problem on my end?
Information about my OS and Google Chrome (I'll provide more if it is required):
OS:
Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 20H2
Installed on: 1/10/2022
OS build: 19042.1526
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0
Chrome:
Version: 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Thanks
EDIT: Fixed, I changed from using GPU 0 to GPU 1 via settings, is this a graphics card compatibility issue?
GPU 0: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
Setting "Choose ANGLE graphics backend" (chrome flag) to "OpenGL" fixed the issue for me.
Please apart from the 7" LCD touch screen, which other lcd screen can work with raspberry pi using windows iot core operating system
It is recommended to use the screen device which is listed in the Hardware compatibility list. As mentioned in the document, this list is not exhaustive. There are many other peripherals not listed on this page that are compatible with Windows 10 IoT Core. You may try with other screen, maybe it is also compatible. If you just want to use a display screen without touch input, in general the screen with HDMI interface is usable.
I have an AVerMedia card connecting the TV to laptop by PCI and USB. I want every time I save a screenshot from TV, the image will be auto-sent to PC.
The problem is, I have no clue where to start. I read all posts related to AVerMedia card like this in Python or this in C# or this in C++, but still no clue where to start.
Any advice is appreciated.
I have a dual monitor setup,
1: a computer monitor connected via vga
2: a samsung lcd tv conntected via dvi->hdim cable
Until yesterday, this setup was working just fine. Today when I booted windows 7, the bios & windows loading ... screen shows up fine on my lcd tv
however, when windows loads and shows my desktop, my TV goes blank, and I only get the desktop on my computer monitor.
When I go to "screen resolution" and "detect", I only see my computer monitor listed.
As far as I know, no new display drivers were installed, I am using nvadia gt300.
Also, since the bios/welcome screen does show up on my TV, I can root out the tv/cable being faulty.
has anyone encountered something similar before ?
I had exactly the same problem. I de- and reinstalled drivers, I deinstalled the 11/18 Windows Update, I turned my monitor off and on again at least a dozen times as did I unplug and replug the HDMI cable - nothing worked.
Then, in an act of despair, I unplugged my monitor's power cable, replugged it and.... here we go again!
HTH!

I am facing an interface freeze issue with Flash Projector running a flex state based application. A Flash Projector exe was generated from a standalone flash player ver 10.2. The target machine on which the problem occuresd has 10.3.
Basically "screen freeze" means that the user interface is running as usual on Flash Player, but it's not responding to any user input (like button presses). But if we alt-tab to another application, the state changes in the Flash player. There is display with buttons on the screen, but touching the buttons or doing anything else - it did not respond. Rebooting the computer fixes the problem.
Can you suggest why this is happening? Is there any known bug in Flash Player.
The problem is this is being hard to reproduce on the developer workstation as it doesn't happen always. But it happens quite often on the target machine running an Intel Atom N270. What debugging steps can you suggest?

Have you tried publishing the projector in 10.1 or a version of Flash newer than 10.2? If you are able to publish it as a SWF first, you can use the stand-alone projector exe (downloadable here) to load and create a projector from it.
According to this Adobe bug issue (registration required), version 10.1 was supposed to have resolved this, but it sounds like it may have reappeared in 10.2.
