How Can I Fix Glitchy Images on Google Chrome? - image

I would like to ask about these images I found to be glitchy on google chrome.
I must confirm that none of these are intentional.
This started since I saw a glitchy image on my google classroom, here are some images I found to be glitchy. I don't seems to find a pattern from them.

How the google classroom image should look like (my friend's perspective)
Broken logos of chrome extensions (fullscreen)
Broken search icon
Broken pdf icon on web.whatsapp.com
It sometimes manages to fix itself though, I successfully took a screenshot of glitchy icons and the normal ones.
Search Icons, both normal and glitchy displayed at the same time
I've tried to delete images cache and even reinstalled chrome, none of them works to fix this problem.
Some information that might help narrow down the problem:
I've recently used this PC with a new SSD (I've used it for about a month now), which contains the chrome itself, and it works properly so far. I don't think this should be a problem with the disk. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
However, on the day this happens, I installed the React Devtool (I've deleted it though) (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/react-developer-tools/fmkadmapgofadopljbjfkapdkoienihi) and the Redux Devtools (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/redux-devtools/lmhkpmbekcpmknklioeibfkpmmfibljd)
Can this problem be a bug on the chrome itself, or perhaps something related with skia? Should I report this as a problem to Chrome, or is this a problem on my end?
Information about my OS and Google Chrome (I'll provide more if it is required):
OS:
Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 20H2
Installed on: ‎1/‎10/‎2022
OS build: 19042.1526
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0
Chrome:
Version: 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Thanks
EDIT: Fixed, I changed from using GPU 0 to GPU 1 via settings, is this a graphics card compatibility issue?
GPU 0: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M

Setting "Choose ANGLE graphics backend" (chrome flag) to "OpenGL" fixed the issue for me.

OBS - black screen while capturing display

I have a problem with OBS. I'd like to make tutorials how to do programming, teach people basics & show them, for example, how to write neural network in Java (without any ML libraries) but in order to do so, it would be great to show them my presentation about it and other windows, so recording full screen is needed (I know I could keep switching windows but it's faster and easier to display full screen). When I added the source "capture screen" the captured screen is black but audio works. I've tried to solve this problem and I went through many tutorials (like 15 or smth) and nothing has helped. I've also added a new thread in OBS Official Forum but nobody has responded. My OBS version is 25.0.4. Here is what I've tried:
- I ran the program as an administrator
- I have reinstalled it (with deleting all files and settings ~ no leftovers)
- In Nvidia Control Panel in 3D Settings I've selected OBS Studio and changed graphic processor to an integrated graphic (also tried dedicated graphic and global choice - nothing worked)
- In GForce Experience I disabled sharing
- Couple times I've restarted the computer and OBS (after any change I've done)
- I ran the OBS in compatibility mode with Windows 8 (and I've tried Windows build-in troubleshooting option)
- I ran OBS with an integrated graphic from a desktop
What I've discovered is the capturing specific window works perfectly, the problem occurs only with capturing full screen.
I have no idea what to do, please help me.
Here is what I see:
It looks like OBS just "can't see" screen, I use only one screen by the way
Black screen
though single-window capturing works perfectly

You will need to change the Graphic for this app to integrated graphic
I had the same problem in the virtual machine And I solved it this way go to virtual machine setting
in display section uncheck Accelerate 3D graphics
The problem was solved and the recording was done correctly.

Chrome 53 displaying wrong colours on external monitor on OSX El Capitan

Our company uses Macbook Pros as dev machines with external monitors.
Recently Chrome 53 started displaying the wrong colours in a PHP/Javascript web app when displayed on an external monitor.
The colour issue does not occur if Chrome is dragged to the internal MacBook Pro screen.
The colour issue does not occur in Safari, Opera or Firefox.
This is happening on 2 notebooks.
Does anyone have a hint as to the cause or potential solution?
I found a link to a problem where Chrome made the screen black on Windows 10 and thought it may be related.
The suggested solution was to disable hardware acceleration in Chrome Advanced settings.
I tried this and it worked - colours have returned to normal.
I still feel this is a Chrome defect, but at least the colours on the external monitor are distinguishable.

Chrome's emulate touch screen circle not visible

I have a strange issue whit my emulate touch functionality on Google Chrome version 49.0.2623.110 m.
I'm using laptop + monitor (both Dell) and running Windows 8.
The issue is that while Chrome is on my secondary monitor and touch screen emulation is enabled I cannot see a touch screen pointer (black circle) nor any kind of pointer, but when I move my Chrome to my main laptop display it would show. I tried disabling laptop display while using external monitor and it is the same, I cannot see the pointer. This was not a problem with previous Chrome version.
Did anyone had similar issues with this version?
Thank you
EDIT:
I've change the laptop, updated to win10 and updated Chrome to 50.0.2661.87 m version and I still have the same issue (colleague of mine has the same problem as well).
A colleague of mine "solved" the problem by enabling Windows' Mouse pointer trails at minimum length. I find it too annoying to work with the setting enable, but it does work if you really need it.

They did some changes in recent version of Dev Tools and some options are now gone. Ensure you have "Mobile" or "Desktop with touch" selected, as you can see on the screenshot.

Chrome OSX color broken

Every color on the web (as far as I can tell) is displayed inconsistently in Google Chrome 43.0 on a MacBook Air running OSX 10.3 with an unmodified LCD color profile. Before attempting it yourself, Watch this short YouTube video demonstrating the problem: When switching between desktops or accessing context menus, the color becomes saturated like those seen in Safari. On scroll, the colors revert to the more dull versions normally seen in Chrome.
Here's a question: does anyone know how to prevent this inconsistency?
Embedding color profiles seems to be far from enough.
The fundamental color management problems between Chrome and OSX have resolved themselves within the past six months as of Chrome 47 on OSX 10 El Capitan. Using the most recent updates, the color management inconsistencies with Chrome 43 on OSX 11 Yosemite shown in the video posted above thankfully no longer persist.

Silverlight 5: 3D with XNA on Macintosh

I have acutaly access to an closed beta of an online application developed with silverlight 5. Within there's a feature, showing some 3D scenes. There have been used XNA for the 3D. From a windows-pc all work fine. But when I test it from an Mac with OSX the Silverlight-App works fine, too. But not the 3D feature. In upper left corner there's a information showing: "Render Mode: Unavailable" and "Reason: "Not3DCapable".
So I pushed this example to my IIS. This time from Windows all is fine but when trying to access from OSX (Firefox) it starts to load Silverlight but after showing 100% nothing happens. The scene is not shown.
Does anyone has any clue, what to do to support mac?
Unfortunately I found some other websites like this Blog (see the 3. FAQ) and this Blog (see comments) whose say the same: 3D doesn't work on mac.
Sadly Microsoft seems to keep this fact officially secret. Found this Page where I had expected to read something like "3D not supported". Isn't this sad? I thought Silverlight should be platform independent? I hope they will change their mind and add a support for OpenGL or something like that.
