I would like to setup the X-Pack Kerberos authentication (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack-overview/7.1/kerberos-realm.html) in my elasticsearch. Is this a free version or a paid version? Will someone guide on where can I get the details?
I am using Elasticsearch version 7.1.0
In this site: https://www.elastic.co/blog/security-for-elasticsearch-is-now-free, it mentioned that its free for security but in this site, https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions, it is gray-out under the basic package. Gray-out means its not supporting for the basic/free version?
Short answer: Kerberos authentication is not part of the open source/free version.
It's a bit missleading that they put the SSO features under the section "security". It's correct that starting with version 7.1.0, security became part of the free-to-use version of the Elastic Stack. But this basically concentrates on the TLS encrypted communication, which was not included in versions prior to 7.1.0

As Cloudera official blog said, there is no free version of CDH from 6.3.3, they would make the Cloudera Manager to open source, but not yet.
Is there any other project like Cloudera Manager? which can manage Hadoop components by Web UI, especially belongs to Apache projects.
BTW, HDP also is not available for new version.
I am using the Cloudera Virtual Machine
You can still download a docker image of the QuickstartVM
DockerQuickstartVM
or you can try this link too

There is Arendata:

RedHat recently announced the Tech Preview of Fuse 7 both on RH blog and on dzone.
I am interested to on-premise deployment options, such as Fuse Standalone with Spring Boot for microservices.
Is there a list of the feature set for Fuse Standalone w/ Spring Boot?
I guess the set of features may vary depending on deployment flavor, so without a clear list of features I cannot figure out how this solution can be compared to - say - Camel routes on Spring Boot apps (possibly on docker/kubernetes).
You can find components from which the Fuse product is made of here: https://access.redhat.com/articles/348423
Supported Spring Boot components are here: https://access.redhat.com/articles/3442361
You can also check Release notes for more details about supported/deprecated features https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_fuse/7.2/html/release_notes/

I am looking for a self hosted CodePlex clone to use on an intranet.
It should be web-based, preferably open-source but may also be commercial.
The important features I need are:
Discussion board
Wiki for project documentation
Mercurial integration (optional)
Issue tracker (optional)
Any suggestions?
Some alternatives I found:
Redmine (open source, can be easily installed through BitNami Installer)
TRAC (open source)
JIRA (Commercial)
GitHub Enterprise (Commercial)
I am currently evaluating Redmine.

Where can I download the jar library Oracle xmldb:11.2.0.3 ?
You can download the initial release from the oracle.com site, or the edelivery.oracle.com. Under the database download you would see a separate option for the client. This should contain the jar file you are looking for.
If it is specifically the 11.2.0.3 version you are needing, you will have to have an Oracle account WITH support account, login to the support site(s) (Flash: support.oracle.com , HTML: supporthtml.oracle.com). After doing so, you will use the patch search tool. Of the patchset listed files for 11g patchsets, the client is 3 of 6. For example, the Windows 32bit 11.2.0.3 patchset id is 10404530.

I am looking for a framework to create an install kit for my Java web application.
I need something that would install JBoss, a Database Server, Java, and of course the application itself with all the dependencies and settings on a Windows platform.
I prefer free tools. What do you recommend and why?
Install4J: Not free but easy to use and extensible.
http://www.ej-technologies.com/products/install4j/overview.html
As pointed out earlier in a comment there is another similar thread, which anwsers my question. Thanks to #Zaki for this info.
You can use the SetupBuilder Gradle Plugin to create a native msi installer with a simple Gradle script.
