I want to download recorded lecture videos from my college website which requires authentication. I tried a few ways mentioned below and all failed.
Used IDM and got an error saying that IDM can't download this protected stream.
Used HLS chrome extension which downloads.TS files. These TS files are of a few hundred MB and when opened using VLC or Windows Media Player they show duration 0:00.
Tried GetFLV app and after pasting the URL link, it throws a warning stating that video can't be downloaded.
After inspecting the web page I noticed that video has a blob URL. I couldn't get the video downloaded after pasting that URL in jdownloader2.
I couldn't find a working solution.

I recently found a digital billboard project called DisplayMonkey, which shows me digital content such as: images, videos, html, etc. The problem is that when you show a YouTube video or any other media this does not automatically reproduce.
To which I refer, the project that I use that would be the Display, shows me in html file all the content that I have and does it in a random way, when it comes to the video it does not reproduce it.
Need autoplay youtube or alternative server videos
The web page that the display shows me is the following:
http://display-dev.cclcloud.co
user: test
password: 2019**
Any opinion on how you should do this? html + js code pure?
I have tried several alternatives and it has not worked for me, need help, thanks
I have set up a wordpress theme called Video Board, the site I am building allows users to upload their videos for comments. Uploading a video from a mobile device is critical, the theme supports mp4 which covers android users, however it does not support .mov. Has anyone come across a way to play .mov in videojs?
The server has ffmpeg installed, however the last plugin I tried needed its own upload page which worked however videos were not captured in the themes latest uploads/popular posts etc.
I know a conversion would be the proper way to do it, but at this point I would even be happy working out a way that when users upload videos through the theme upload page, it doesn't actually convert but just changes the file extension(renames) it to .mp4, as that is all I have been doing to fill out some content.
I am open to all suggestions,
Thanks,
Sam
There are tech plugins for video.js, but these will require browser plugins. You're far better off converting the mov files after upload to standard formats, e.g. h264/acc MP4
I tried searching for a solution to this and within three days of browsing the forum I could't find any help.
This is the link where I have my video:
http://www.aguacatesjbr.com/English/Company/company.html
I believe the code is correct because I replaced my source video with the Oceans-Clip video provided by the site. The Oceas-Clip video CAN PLAY on FireFox and IE but not my original video. However, if I type in directly the address of my video it DOES render on FF and IE.
I donĀ“t think it is size problem because I was testing it with a video that weights 4.20MB.
I am having this problem with IE and FireFox in both PC and MAC. Android and Apple devices work perfectly as well with Chrome and Safari.
First of all, you need to serve the videos with the correct mime type, which is video/mp4 for H.264 in mp4, and video/webm for WEBM. See MSDN, MDN.
Right now you serve the .mp4video as video/mpeg.
Then, I your page has a source for video/webm pointing to http://www.aguacatesjbr.com/Videos/JBR_video.webm, which does not exist at the time of writing. Fix that.
Firefox can play back H.264/mp4 on certain platforms only. For a list of currently supported platforms and video support in Firefox in general see "Supported media formats".
Lastly, there will be warning messages regarding video load failures in newer Firefox versions. E.g.:
[20:35:11.515] HTTP "Content-Type" of "video/mpeg" is not supported. Load of media resource http://www.aguacatesjbr.com/Videos/JBR_video.mp4 failed. # http://www.aguacatesjbr.com/English/Company/company.html
[20:35:11.515] All candidate resources failed to load. Media load paused. # http://www.aguacatesjbr.com/English/Company/company.html
I am trying to find a way to upload the following flash replay to youtube easily
http://battlestations.mobileweapon.net/history_view.php?hid=274641
I want to do these for a large number of replays from the site. Problem is, I can't download the swf or flv somehow even after trying various flash downloader tools, such as Flashgot firefox extension.
Can anyone enlighten me as to why I can't download the replay for viewing locally, and briefly outline a way to script the uploading to youtube?
try http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9789 its a greasemonkey script for facebook flash videos. I havent tried it personally but it looks like if you are on facebook you should be able to save the flv file with it
