why log4j is having a problem parsing url even I have fixed the directory name to English which was Korean - spring

while I'm doing my spring project, I got this error message
**log4j:ERROR Could not parse url [file:/Users/gim/내폴더/Workspaces/Workspace_final/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0/wtpwebapps/fogams/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml].**
so I immediately changed the directory which was named to Korean.
(and it made me to lose all the Workspace that I was working on..so foolish.
but I've re-built it through gitHub)
and now my Workspace directory is
/Users/gim/myfolder/Workspaces/Workspace_final/
but I still get the same exact error.
so I've tried cleaning server, updating maven project...and never worked.
please help me to find the problem.. thanks

Wich IDE are you using?! For intellij, you'll need to download sources and reload your project

It was kind of mac system error. when I searched,
people said I need to switch the system country, and then
switch it back to my country.
so I did that and re-opened the Eclipse and it worked!

Getting a "vspscc could not be found in your workspace, or you do not have permission to access it" error

Today, while trying to publish an app so I could test it, I suddenly got this error message:
The item
D:\ScratchSrc\TryNewReportViewer2017\TryNewReportViewer2017\TryNewReportViewer2017.csproj.vspscc
could not be found in your workspace, or you do not have permission to
access it.
That's a mystery to me, as I've never gotten this before and I was working with this app just last week. Publishing it, too.
I've looked for the .vspscc file. Found it exactly where it said it should be. So, the alternative is that I don't have permissions to it. I don't understand why I shouldn't have permissions to a file on my machine that I created, but whatever. So, how do I get permissions to my own file?
I'm working with VS 2017, TFS 2015 on premise.
This issue may due to the wrong source control binding for that specific xx.vspscc file.
Double check your source control bindings for that file in TFS. You could also try to unbind and rebind the file.
Then delete the file in local(back up local changes first) and get latest version from TFS. Finally do the publish again.
If above solution is still not working, try to delete local workspace and create a new one, get latest version of the file, modify the file with local changes (if you have) in your backup , check in the file, then do the publish .
Another reason for this problem is, that the vspscc file is not checked in.
Just do a "Compare" on the project folder to see, if it's missing.
If the csproj.vspscc is missing you can create a new one by removing the project in visual studio and adding it back
I was able to 'fix' the problem by going to the source control explorer, selecting the smproj file (which was checked out for editing), and checked it in by itself. Then, I checked in the Model.bim. Was able to do both of these things without getting the error.
I also tried all the usual things, deleting the entire solution directory, getting it from TFS again but nothing worked.
Noticed the version of Visual Studio 2019 was a few months old so upgraded to the latest. That fixed it!

Sonar Strange Encoding Issue?

I recently rolled out an update for Jenkins to kick off sonar-scanner on version 5.6 of SonarQube. I'm not using the plugin, just a command line call of the sonar scanner from the directory where the sonar-project.properties file resides.
So far all of the developers have followed the same steps, and configure the properties file for their services and works great except in a few cases. Two developers have had a strange issue, when an error message prompts:
"Caused by: Not authorized. Analyzing this project requires to be authenticated. Please provide the values of the properties sonar.login and sonar.password."
I thought this to be strange because the other developers would probably have the same issue if the authentication token I used in the instructions was wrong. I compared a working copy with the version the first developer and the only difference was the project specific things such as DLL name, version, etc... I'll provide a template below. With the file looking fine, I saved off the broken copy, and copied the contents of another working copy into the broken copy. I then changed the project specific properties, and commit into subversion. Sonar scans successfully!
Out of curiosity, I then compared the old broken file and the new working copy line by line. Their was absolutely no difference between any character. I then thought this must be an encoding issue. I did a quick test by adding the sonar encoding property, commit this back and the scan failed. So I then changed back to the working copy and just continued.
The next day a second developer came to me with the same exact issue. I then tried the same previous steps where I copied the contents of a working copy, and pasted into the new, and commit this back in. However this time the workaround did not work. In fact, I tried about 5 different working copies to paste into and they all failed with that authorization error. I know the properties file is exactly correct with the token and such.
I'm not sure what to do at this point, I haven't come across any logs on the server that indicate any good information to me unless their is a log I'm unaware of.
# Token
sonar.login=SOMESECRETTOKEN
# Unique project key for sonar
sonar.projectKey=SOMESERVICE
# UI Settings for sonar
sonar.projectName=SOMESERVICE
sonar.projectVersion=SOMEVERSION
# Path to source, if not set it searches from this
# file's directory
sonar.sources=.
# Encoding of the source code. Default is default system encoding
#sonar.sourceEncoding=UTF-8
#Cop
sonar.stylecop.projectFilePath=./SOMEPROJ.csproj
sonar.cs.fxcop.assembly=./bin/Release/SOMEDLL.dll
sonar.cs.fxcop.fxCopCmdPath=C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Fxcop 10.0/FxCopCmd.exe
sonar.fxcop.assemblies=./bin/Release/SOMEDLL.dll
Any helps or pointers is appreciated, thanks!
This isn't about your encoding or file contents, but about permissions. The user that runs the scan doesn't have Execute Analysis permissions on the projects in question.
And to create new projects with the first analysis, the user must also have the Create Projects permission.
When encountering this issue, I loaded the file in Notepad++ which told me the file was saved under some strange encoding visual studio gave text files. I fixed it by switched the encoding to UTF-8 which resolved the problem. This probably should be handled better in Sonar!

how to fix xamarin support jar file errors

I'm currently attempting to fix build issues which occured once i tried to update some component. they told me i need to update some references. Oddly enough i now get these issues:
Now i'll just add some text so someone comming from google can find the potential answer as well:
error reading xamarin android.support embedded jar error in opening zip file.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried:
Deleting and restoring nugetpackages, in hopes the nuget install script supplied these files,
Uninstall+Install Support Package in Android SDK Manager
Deleting files, in hope they are just temporary references and are pulled by xamarin if they are missing.
Neither one of those attempts worked out sadly.
Any ideas?
Turns out the reason of this issue was actually my own impatience. At some point after package updates i must have canceled the build process assuming that it got stuck, because it just wouldn't deploy. That resulted in incomplete jar files.
I fixed the issue by deleting the folders in AppData/Local/Xamarin which raised errors and that in turn made sure the build process redownloads the required files properly.

How to fix InstallShield error -1501: Could not compress?

I'm using an InstallShield project to generate setup files. Everything was working fine, but I've recently encountered following error which says,
Could not compress "bin\x86\QA\AppManifest.xaml" into "\Default
Configuration\MSI
Could not find file
"bin\x86\QA\AppManifest.xaml" ISDEV : error : -6103:
So far I have been unable to fix these issues. Can someone help me understand what I may be doing wrong?
Thought it's late to reply, I came with similar error on dynamic file linking. But, problem was with double slash being on Resource directory.
My problem was, I provided path as : "PATH_TO_HELP_FILES\Docs\", while i removed the last \ on path i.e PATH_TO_HELP_FILES\Docs, the problem was gone.
It could be the AppManifest.xaml is missing from the source folder? I think this is the most likely scenario - your application build could have failed, and this particular file could be missing?
You could also have a file lock in the build output folder - did you try to reboot and rebuild?
You can also try to run the release wizard and make a new release configuration and try to build that
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/192738/What-is-AppManifest-xaml-in-Silverlight
Another late reply. For my situation, I merged multiple branches together, and something is lost along the way. It was probably a setting file or something with the gitignore file. Anyways, I got that same -1501 could not compress file error. The reason was the build order of projects in the solution. Incorrect build order caused VS to look for dependencies when they were not yet created or included. I right-clicked on the solution, went to the Dependencies tab to set the order (by setting dependencies). Once that was done, I could Clean Solution and Rebuild Solution without getting any error.

How do you flush Netbeans synatx error information?

Opps: This is the same as: Is there a way to reset the error badges in Netbeans? but I don't know how to mark it as such ...
My version of NetBeans 6.9.1 is currently showing a large number of syntax errors in many files, in many projects.
But, if I look at the errors, they are invalid. For example, one error says that an import is referencing a non-existent file. However, that file exists and has no syntax errors.
More importantly, despite all of the errors, the code compiles cleanly and runs correctly.
My guess is that NetBeans is caching some data (OSGi?) that is out of date or has been corrupted. This has happened before, but in the past it wasn't this bad and it magically cleared itself.
I've tried starting and stopping NetBeans, but that doesn't do it. If, as in the above case, I use NetBeans to resave the imported file, it goes away after a minute, but for large projects this is very time-consuming. (Note that I am using jVi, and saving with that embedded editor doesn't not fix the problem, it has to be the NetBeans save command).
I'd really like to find a simple way just to force the whole internal state to refresh itself. Does anybody have any ideas?
To clear this error you need to shut netbeans, go to the .netbeans folder in your home directory C:\users\.netbeans for Win 7,
in there you will see a folder for the version you are using.
in there is a folder called var
delete this folder then re-run netbeans.
This clears the cache in Netbeans allowing it to re scan the folders correctly.
I found a useful plugin you can use called Cache Eraser.
