Visual Studio 2019 Extensions loading infinitely - visual-studio

I have ran in this issue, and it is weird. I have installed Visual Studio some time ago, and haven't launched it in like 2 months. Now when I create project it is really laggy, and cpu or ssd is not running at 100%.
Instead, it tries to load extensions, but it seems that it is failing. I have tried to repair it through Visual Studio Installer, and running VS as an admin, but that gave no result. The extension it tries to load is kind of random and can vary between the launches.

"Attach to process" in Visual Studio 2015 Update2/Windows 10

I have just installed Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 on my Windows 10 machine (both x64 versions) and I am having hard time getting the debugger to work. When I try to attach to any process via Debug menu, I keep on getting:
I have tried reinstalling, repairing Visual studio few times always get the same error. Even running a basic hello world console application gives the same error.
When trying to run a web application using the IIS Web Express 8/10.
Even though I am absolutely sure that the message of corrupt installation is misleading, but I even have tried repairing visual studio from control panel and nothing seems to work. I dont even get any error logged anywhere which is keeping me stumped for last 1 day. This is what my VS installation looks like:
I am running the visual studio as administrator. I am pretty sure this is not a windows error as I tried installing VS2012 and debugging works in it.
Any ideas?

Executable compiled by visual studio freezes

I made a simple project with Visual Studio, but when I try to run it, Visual studio freezes and I have to shut it down. If I launch the executable directly with the explorer, the explorer freezes. I've tried with visual studio 2010, 2013 and 2015, it always freezes.
Dependancy walker find no errors in it. I've sent it to a friend, and he manages to launch it on its computer. I've also tried to run in as administrator, still nothing.
I've tried this on several projects, even some of them that worked years ago, but I still have the problem.
My OS is Windows 10, with the Threshold 2 update.

Visual Studio 2013 crashes when loading project

Some time ago I started developing with Visual Studio 2013 Professional and everything worked well. But a few weeks ago I upgraded to the Ultimate version. But since then Visual Studio crashes when I load a project. VS just starts up normally, I can see the menu and log in and stuff like that. But when I open a project it crashes everytime. I tried to repair it VS in the control panel, but still the same problem... Then I reinstalled it but when loading a solution it crashed again. Now I downgraded to Professional again, but now even Professional crashes.
I have been searching on google for a long time to solve this problem. I tried to reconfigure the debugger, even reinstalled it, but no effect. A lot of forums say you have to delete the .suo file in the project, but even that doesn't work...
Is there a solution for this?
UPDATE
When Visual Studio crashes I get this error: https://i.imgur.com/VtaikJ5.png?1
My ActivityLog.xml is on OneDrive: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=B3519F287A9CD3FC!2830&authkey=!AIUDHo1bCZan4Fk&ithint=file%2cxml
I already received the answer from the MSDN forum. And it was caused by the Web Essentials extension tool. And apparently with the Visual Studio Update 4 everything seems to be fixed. The extension tool was causing the error, and that error is fixed in the update.
Thanks for the support everyone!

Visual Studio 2013 Issue: Installation got stuck on android SDK

I am trying to install Multi-Device Hybrid Apps extension on Visual Studio 2013 (Ultimate). But Installation got stuck when Android SDK being install. I have waited for 2 to 3 hours but it stuck there. I have cancelled the process and tried again but same issue.
Can anyone help me to fix this issue?
Thank you
I had a similar problem for Visual Studio 2015 RC1. The Android images take a long time to download, especially if you are downloading other things on the same network and have slow internet.
I found the AndroidSDK_SI.log file in %temp% and it shows it was actually still downloading even after 3 hours!
I believe the installer really needs to show better feedback. It seemed like the installer was hung, but it was actually downloading very slowly. Something as dirty as an option to read the currently running log file being in a text box would even help.
You can also kill the SecondaryInstaller.exe in Task Manager to stop the Android SDK sub-installer. You can then try fix it yourself or Repair Visual Studio if the install continues and completes.
Repair is available by right clicking on Visual Studio in the Microsoft Windows "Programs and Features" control panel section and clicking "Change". This will bring up a Visual Studio dialog where you can Modify or Repair the install.

Visual Studio 2013 not starting unless file is selected to load

I am running VS 2013 ultimate on win 8.1 Parallels and everything was working fine, now does not. I have repaired the install, and have even uninstalled and reinstalled VS 2013. WHen I run devenv.exe the initial VS loading screen shows and just spins. When I look at Task Manager, I only see VS running as a background process and eating up the CPU.
When I select a solution file or xml file as an example and choose the VS 2013, VS comes up and loads the file. Any ideas of how to get this working would be GREATLY appreciated.
I was able to get the IDE to come up in safemode, so I figured it was one of the third party addins. It seems like the Productivity Power Tools addin was the culprit in my situation.
