I am looking to get the Spring Boot and Apache Kafka complex topics/scenarios examples. Whatever I found on web was very basic and similar demo.
Does anyone has Spring Boot and Apache Kafka example?

I was also looking for solid examples. And I could not find anything concrete but "hello world"... Then I just realized that I'm overlooking the Confluent's documents.

Spring Reactive Stack with Spring for Apache Kafka

In a few words:
I'm trying to decide between using the default Spring for Apache Kafka stack, KafkaTemplate or the pair, ReactiveKafkaProducerTemplate and ReactiveKafkaConsumerTemplate for my Reactor based application.
Some more context:
In the company I work we're developing a high-disponibility application aiming to publish a set of requests directly to a Kafka Broker. Since this is an API centric application expecting to receive a few millions of requests per week, we decided to go with a stack based on the Project Reactor with Spring WebFlux and Kotlin.
After doing some digging I've discovered that the Spring for Apache Kafka has a simple wrapper designed around the Reactor Kafka implementation, but this wrapper lacks a lot of the functionalities present in the default KafkaTemplate mentioned before, things like: A Metrics Binder out of the box (for prometheus integration), associated factories, extensive documentation, Auto configuration, etc.
I'm trying to understand what I'm really giving up when using the default implementation in favor of the Reactive one. Am I giving up back pressure functionality? Am I sacrificing the Reactive Stack present in my application? Will this be a toll in the future? Does anyone has some experience in working with a Reactive Stack alongside a non-reactive solution?
I have, also, a few concerns regarding the DLT flow facilitated in the default implementation, things like the SeekToCurrentErrorHandler strategy

Apache ActiveMQ - retrieving JMS metrics

In my corporate project I am using Spring Boot and Apache ActiveMQ 5.x Spring Boot starter. I am a totally beginner in this.
My goal is to expose Prometheus endpoint with some JMS queue metrics:
number of messages in queue
number of messages in error queue
What are dedicated tools for retrieving such metrics? Up to now I have found two possible ways. Can anyone confirm which of these two tools can solve my problem?

I don't think the Spring stuff will work because that will provide Spring-related metrics from the application itself, not the ActiveMQ broker.
Also, the documentation for ActiveMQ you cited is for ActiveMQ Artemis. However, the dependency you're using is for ActiveMQ 5.x. Therefore, the documentation is not applicable. However, if you choose to use ActiveMQ Artemis it is very simple to expose a Prometheus endpoint using this Prometheus metrics plugin implementation. It's worth noting that Artemis is ActiveMQ's next generation message broker. If you're starting a new project I would recommend you use it rather than 5.x. Artemis is planned to replace 5.x and become ActiveMQ 6.0 in the future.
I think your best bet would be to configure the Prometheus JMX exporter. It even has a sample configuration for ActiveMQ 5.x.
ActiveMQ comes with Jolokia bundled by default for extracting JMX Beans for the JVM, queues and a bunch of other metrics using HTTP. That way we can easily export using a software like Telegraf, which comes with a simple input plugin for ActiveMQ and a simple output plugin for Prometheus.

Apache Kafka Connect With Springboot

I'm trying to find examples of kafka connect with springboot. It looks like there is no spring boot integration for kafka connect. Can some one point me in the right direction to be able to listen to changes on mysql db?
Kafka Connect doesn't really need Spring Boot because there is nothing for you to code for it, and it really works best when ran in distributed mode, as a cluster, not embedded within other (single-instance) applications. I suppose if you did want to do it, then you could copy relevent portions of the source code, but that of course isn't using Spring Boot, and you'd have to wire it all yourself
The framework itself consists of a few core Java dependencies that have already been written (Debezium or Confluent JDBC Connector, for your mysql example), and two config files. One for Kafka Connect to know the bootstrap servers, serializers, etc. and another for the actual MySQL connector. So, if you want to use Kafka Connect, run it by itself, then just write the consumer in the Spring app.
The alternatives to Kafka Connect itself would be to use Apache Camel within a Spring application (Spring Integration) or Spring Cloud Dataflow and interfacing with those Kafka "components" (which aren't using the Connect API, AFAIK)
Another option, specific for listening to MySQL, is to use Debezium Engine within your code.

Jax-rs and amqp zipkin integration

I've been roaming the depths of the internet but I find myself unsatisfied by the examples I've found so far. Can someone point me or, show me, a good starting point to integrate zipkin tracing with jaxrs clients and amqp clients?
My scenario is quite simple and I'd expect this task to be trivial tbh. We have a micro services based architecture and it's time we start tracing our requests and have global perspective of our inter service dependencies and what the requests actually look like (we do have metrics but I want more!) . The communication is done via jax-rs auto generated clients and we use rabbit template for messaging.
I've seen brave integrations with jaxrs but they are a bit simplistic. My zipkin server is a spring boot mini app using stream-rabbit, so zipkin data is sent using rabbitmq.

After some discussion with Marcin Grzejszczak and Adrien Cole (zipkin and sleuth creators/active developers) I ended up creating a Jersey filter that acts as bridge between sleuth and brave. Regarding AMQP integration, added a new #StreamListener with a conditional for zipkin format spans (using headers). Sending messages to the sleuth exchange with zipkin format will then be valid and consumed by the listener. For javascript (zipkin-js), I ended up creating a new AMQP Logger that sends zipkin spans to a determined exchange. Regarding building application in Spring JMS

I am a new bie to the world of Spring JMS, I have read the manning Spring in action particular for JMS, I have also gone with through this url and it helped me lot.I have also gone through the official spring reference and discovers the JMS templates also, Now my query is could you please advise me some more urls so that when, I am going to build a small first application which will put data in queue and another app will read data from that queue, so I will be using Active MQ, please share some url and examples to grasp more and that will help me to build the application and explore the world of spring JMS.
