Google play console is requesting to verify my identity.
The problem is that the verification form is asking for an organization info and docs while the account is for individual and that is provided in the account details screen.
So what am I missing? Where to go? Or how to contact google support?
I had this after emailing googleplay-developer-support#google.com. Solution: Your payment profile shouldn't be set as organization if your developer profile is set to individual and vice-versa.
Per checking, the payments profile associated with your account is set as an organization. You may choose to verify your account as an organization with the following documents that our system accepts: Certificate of Organization, and a valid ID of the organization's Official Representative.
If you would like to verify as an individual and change the entity type on your payments profile, you would have to create a new account in order to change from organization to individual. You may view your payments profile via pay.google.com
To change the entity type on your Payment Profile, it would need to be deleted and created again. Since a Play Console account can only be associated with one Payment Profile, it will need to be deleted and recreated as well.
To resolve the issue, we can close your Play Console account and refund the registration fee. Then, you can delete your payment profile at pay.google.com before you sign-up for a new Play Developer account. To proceed, please provide confirmation by responding with “I confirm to have my Play Console Developer account closed and have its registration fee refunded.” Also, please remove the existing draft app from the Developer account
I had this issue recently and it turned out it was because I had an old Payment Profile with Account Type of 'Organisation'.
You need to go here: https://pay.google.com/gp/w/u/0/home/settings
Personally, I had two payment profiles; one was for an Individual and one was for an Organisation. Maybe the Organisation one was the default or whatever.
In the end I managed to close that payment profile and create a new developer account after having the first one refunded.
There were a few emails to Google Support going back and forth but that solved it in the end and now I have an app on the Play Store.

I created a new google developer account as a organization type for our company.
When I paid $25 to create account, a new payment profile was automatically created as a individual.
In order for me to upload the app to the store, I need to authenticate myself, but they required for my personal information, not my company's information.
I think it's because my payment profile that I paid $25 to create developer account is a individual type.
I contacted the Google payment team.
But they said you can create a new payment profile on the play console.
I said I knew that, and I wanted to know how to identify our company on this account.
Then, they say it's not our job and they transfer this issue to the team.
I've been repeating this for two weeks.
How can I create a payment profile a business type when I create developer account?
my issue is really complicated but i will try my best to explain it,
so i created a google play developer account and paid the 25 dollars but it suddenly asked me to verify my identity by uploading a government issued document of a country i don't belong to.
Turns out a long time ago i created an adsense account and payment profile in which for some reason or by mistake (I don't even remember) I selected the wrong country and that payment profile is now linked with my developer account now.
I tried closing my payment profile but it said you have active subscriptions or services, you need to close them first.
And that active service is my adsense account that i mentioned earlier.
I tried closing my adsense account but it said "Your payments are on hold (Even though i have $0 earnings) clear them first".
And on my adsense account I am also getting the same popup to verify my identity.
I have no idea what to do now i have paid the $25 fee and i can't publish any apps before clearing this issue.
I have created another payment profile with my actual country selected but i don't know how to link this correct payment profile to my developer account and unlink the old one.
there must be a way i could fix this mess...
please help me
I am just getting started with the google classroom api. I signed up for the developer test accounts and have 1 teacher account and 2 student accounts. I created a couple of classes and enrolled the 2 students in the classes. I want to use the api either via .NEt or Javascript. The prerequisuites state that I need a Google Apps for EDU account with Google Classroom enabled. How do I get this? Also, I assume without having the Google Apps for EDU account I cannot perform the first step:
"a) Use this wizard to create or select a project in the Google Developers Console and automatically turn on the API. Click Continue, then Go to credentials."
When I perform this step when logged in under the teacher account I get an error:
Error
"Developers Console has not been activated for your account. Your account may be suspended or disabled. If you are a Google Apps user, ask your domain administrator to enable Apphosting Admin on your account."
To obtain a Google Apps for Education account, you have to register your domain (or buy one), and fill up this form.
When filling the form, you will get information about the requirements needed to get the account.
To create a project in the Developer Console, you can do it even from your gmail account. After you created the project, you can enable the Classroom API so you application can access it.
When you run the code, you will have to login with a valid account (teacher or student). If you try to access the API with an invalid account you will get an error.
You can also use the Classroom API methods in the documentation. For example the resource curses.list has a "try it" section, where you can try the API before creating any project. There you can see how it works.
I need to transfer ownership of my apps to somebody else on windows marketplace.
The procedure is easy on Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store, but could not find a solution on windows marketplace.
Yes, it is possible to transfer ownership of apps in the Windows Marketplace from one account to another.

In addition to Neil's answer, (This is too long for a comment) :
Trying to do it these days, there are a few constraints that are worth noting (copy paste the support answer) :
Apps must be published to the store
There cannot be any “in progress” submissions or “package flights” for the apps
Apps may not contain in-app purchases
Requests must be made from the source account
All Ad campaigns paid and/or house must be paused
Apps must have reserved names
App may not use MPNS
Apps may not use WNS for push notifications
Additional requirements: If the source account (i.e. owns the apps) is a business account then written authorization is required authorizing Microsoft to transfer the apps. This should be in the form of a notarized letter listing the following details:
Name of the source account/company
Source account’s Microsoft Account (email address)
Name of the app(s) and the Big ID (app id) to be transferred
Target account’s publisher name and Microsoft Account
Letter must be notarized
Before any paid apps can be migrated the tax profile and payout account must first be validated on the new account (Target account) prior to the migration. In addition, if the target account is also a company account, the ID Validation must be completed.
Some considerations:
Ratings and reviews will migrate to the new account
Reporting data stays on the original account.
The new account will only begin accruing earnings for any sales after the app migration to the new account is complete.
You must export all download reporting payout data before the migration. Once the migration is complete this information will no longer be available for export on either account.
Apps will continue to display the old publisher name in the marketplace until a new update has been published from the new account.?
I just register and paid $25 USD to be able to upload an app in the Google Play Store. I used my personal email address, something like sonyaATmydomain.com. The app that I am uploading is for a different domain, e.g. hello.com. I uploaded the app and started to configure all the settings. The problem is that I did not realize that to make the app private (Private Channel) my developers email account must be the same domain as the app, e.g. sonyaAThello.com. So I added a new user with administrator permissions to the app, this new user using the correct domain, e.g. sonyaAThello.com. I logged with this new user account and I cannot see the Private Channel section. Then I logged with my personal email address user and also I couldn't see the option. Then I discovered that to see that section my setup account (the one that paid $25 USD) must be the app domain. But that is not possible. So I tried to transfer the app from my personal account to the new user domain account, BUT at this stage I doubt that is going to work. For what I have read, it seems to enable the private channel, I must have a Goggle Apps account and that is not free. Does anyone know if it is possible to setup the private channel for the play store without having to pay a Google Apps subscription and if yes what's the correct process? Unfortunately I already paid $25 USD but I can't manage to get the private channel :(, thanks a lot
Based off the documentation, it seems there is no getting around having a Google Apps for Work, Education, or Government account.
This work around may not work for you, but what you can do is publish to aplha/beta testers. This will allow you to grant access to whatever users or groups of your choosing. You do not need a production APK for aplha/beta testing, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to get other production information (analytics, ratings, etc).
