ICS files on Android are downloaded by default an not opened by the calendar app. When using Google Calendar or Outlook on desktops, ICS files need to be imported manually after downloading. What link format is required for the ICS files to be automatically added to the desired calendar?
Here is a list of the different link formats:

I want to ask if Office JS is allowed to save local files?
In old question/answers I found various solutions like
FileSaver.js
Download2.js
I tried both but it did not help.
Both are using the technique of embedding a download link in the HTML document dispatching the event programmatically using JS. But click event fails with error = Access is denied
I want to ask if
Office JS API is allowed to create files to local path?
if NO was it allowed in older versions?
If YES do I need to make some configuration changes on Windows 10 desktop PC?
If allowed Please help how to achieve that
I want to create an XML file using JavaScript and save it to local path
thanks
I have created new magento extension myself. i have created package.xml file and Extension Package file in my Magento admin panel.
After creating extension package file, i have submitted the extension information in magentocommcerce.com using my login credentials. In this case i have filled extension information and uploaded extension icons & screen shots.
Should I upload those paid extension package files?
If so where Should I upload?
I dont see any option for uploading these package files in magentocommece.com.
Note : My extension is a paid version.
Can any one point out me where to upload package files during magento extension submission?
OR
Did I missed anything? Is the uploading only for free extensions or paid versions as well?
please see here:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/create_your_extension/
and this pdf in particular:
http://info.magento.com/rs/magentocommerce/images/packagingmagentoconnectextensions6%200.pdf
You upload your extension as normal. A free extension can become paid and vice versa, decided if it is free or paid for is set in the extension profile
When you copy text from a webpage in firefox (a non microsoft product) into OneNote it adds the url of the webpage along with the copied text as "Pasted from" as in the following example:
Apache OpenOffice is an open-source office productivity software suite
Pasted from <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Openoffice>
How OneNote access the url info of the copied text from a non microsoft app. How can I access similar information programmatically in my apps using c++/C# or other technologies? Is there some api to access additional information from system clipboard like url, source application, source file etc?
As explained in the documentation for the HTML clipboard format, Web browsers can provide an optional SourceURL to specify where the HTML came from.
I'm getting quite a few emails with logs in XML format attached and I want to associate my own app with the XML file type on Windows Phone Mango, overwriting the default xml viewer.
If overwriting isn't possible I can get the logs generated with a custom extension. I would then need to associate the extension with my app same way Adobe Reader does it for PDFs.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Currently there is no way to set your app as the default viewer for any file extension. The closest you can get at the moment is using extensibility. However, these are limited to Photos, Music and Search and not custom extensions. (Even then, your app wouldn't be the default viewer, but it would be accessible from the respective hubs).
