I updated my Mac Mini to Mojave also updated to Xcode 10, I've Xcode server configured in my Xcode 9.4.1 it was running even having some issues like couldn't able to install IPA directly into the device. Today I updated my Xcode and tried to update the Xcode server, it is throwing an error while starting Apache. Here is the screen shot.
I had the same problem with a new macOS 10.14 installation.
Any chance you have the latest version of macOS Server (5.7.1) installed too? Apparently the Xcode Server initialization process assumes that if you have macOS Server installed, then it can find a bundled version of Apache.
Since Apple gutted macOS Server recently, that assumption no longer holds, and the helper tools crash during initialization (check for xcsreciperunner crash logs).
I was finally able to turn on Xcode Server only after deleting the macOS Server app. Hope this helps.
I seem to have gotten stuck in MacOS / Xcode purgatory.
I'm on OS Sierra/10.12.6.
When I try to update, I get a warning, that there's an issue with upgrading vs DisplayLink and so it cannot be done.
That directly conflicts with Xcode which (as of now, on App Store) only works on 10.13.2 or later.
I cannot find a place to download an earlier version of Xcode.
I cannot upgrade to High Sierra.
How can I get this happening?
You can get it here at this URL: https://developer.apple.com/download/more/ to download a version of Xcode you want. Specifically, get 9.2. This is the recent version that works with mac OS Sierra.
Edit: Xcode 9.2.1 is no longer an available version. 9.2 works.
Xcode 9.2 works well for Mac OS Sierra (10.12.6). I installed it today (3rd Feb 2020).
For OS Sierra/10.12.6 you need Xcode-8.3 from below link
https://download.developer.apple.com/Developer_Tools/Xcode_8.3/Xcode_8.3.xip
The Xcode-9* versions are not compatible.
Xcode 9.2 is working fine on High Sierra. I have downloaded and installed it today.
I am facing a problem which my Android Studio is unable to establish a connection to adb. The problem seems occur after I updated my Android Studio from 3.1.1 to 3.1.2 on my Mac (macOS High Sierra 10.13.1).
I tried to updated the Android Studio to 3.1.3, Android SDK Platform-Tools to 28.0.0, macOS to High Sierra 10.13.5, but the problem still exists. I also filed a bug on Android.com about 2 months ago, but I got no response.
Anyone could recommend how to fix?
I recently installed iPhone SDK on my Mac OS X 10.5 VMWare. I have iPhone SDK 3 installed on the vmware image. I planned to learn Phonegap development and so started to install the 'PhoneGap Template' for iPhone applications.
But when I start the installation, I get the error saying iPhone SDK not found. I already have installed the iPhone SDK, then why am I getting this error.
Can anybody help me?
